Having sorted out the issues on this end, Catherine personally escorted both Li Ang and Catina to the boarding position, even going as far to delay the plane’s departure by ten minutes to wait for them.

"I always feel like I’ve seen you sowhere before, like I’ve co across you in the past."

Catherine stared at Li Ang without blinking and said.

Shedding her previous cold and stern deanor, she now exuded the full charm of a mature woman.

"Is that so? Maybe the world is just too small, we could have t anywhere."

Li Ang said that, but he knew for sure that he had never t this woman before. With his current mory, there was no way he could forget soone he had t.

"Alright, you should board the plane now; I wish you a satisfactory result in this competition."

Catherine waved at the two of them.

Li Ang waved back in thanks:

"Thank you for helping out this ti; I’ll take you out for dinner when I get back."

Boarding the plane, even the passengers on board were astonished. Just who were these two to rit a ten-minute delay in the plane’s takeoff just to wait for them?

However, Li Ang paid no attention to the gazes of others; as soon as he took his seat, he closed his eyes.

As the airplane soared into the sky, Li Ang was surprised to find that the density of energy specks in the high altitude was even greater than on the ground, almost double as much.

He set aside all other thoughts and focused his energy entirely on opening a third "Inner Qi" channel.

Now that his [Spirit] had surpassed thirty points, he possessed the capability to control this third channel.

If he succeeded, over 50% of the Life Energy he absorbed every day could be supplented through these energy specks.

The reason it wasn’t 60% was that as the number of channels he opened increased, in so areas with insufficient energy density, three channels could not operate at full load.

It’s like how three people going to pick wild fruit in the forest might be able to pick ten kilograms together, but when going separately, they would be unlikely to pick thirty kilograms combined with the sa ability.

Of course, in an environnt with the energy speck density like the current one, even with one more energy channel, he could still operate at full capacity.

And after adapting for a while, Li Ang also realized that the energy he absorbed was not simply equivalent to the calories in food, but more like a kind of Life Energy.

If one only consus high-calorie food, they might not starve but would inevitably fail to et other nutritional needs of the body. Over ti, it would also lead to other diseases.

But the energy that Li Ang absorbed seed to be a comprehensive type, providing not just calories but also other elents the body needed.

Reopening his eyes, the plane was about to land, and Li Ang had successfully opened the third energy channel.

This ant his appetite was now at most that of a standard big eater, no longer so exaggerated.

Leaving the airport and on his way to the hotel, Li Ang beca much more cautious.

If others possibly targeted him because of the competition, then it was likely he would encounter so "accidents" in the vicinity of the competition.

Today marked Huang ngfei’s eleventh day since he set foot in Arica; he had spent years planning and traveling around the world, finally managing to secure a tourist visa for Arica.

Now, he was considered an overstay, but he had no intention of leaving; he wanted to stay in Arica to obtain a green card and beco a true Arican.

But of course, a green card wasn’t so easily obtained. The interdiary suggested a simple yet effective thod: driving a car into soone, but not to the extent of killing them—ideally just paralyzing them from the waist down.

In that case, he would need to take on the responsibility of supporting and compensating the victim, and such severely disabled individuals often remain bedridden for decades, allowing him to get a permanent resident card, a green card, from the court.

When it ca to choosing the victim, they were often those Chinese without any backing.

So even said this could create a closed loop: A would hit B, A gets a green card, C hits A, C gets a green card, and then D hits C...

Today, his interdiary inford him that a perfect target had been found for him.

Huang ngfei had been squatting in a roadside fast-food restaurant for over six hours, not daring to blink, until just now, when he finally spotted the target from the photo coming out of a hotel.

But there was also a woman with the target, which undoubtedly increased the difficulty of his task.

He imdiately sharpened his attention, left the fast-food restaurant, got into the car the interdiary had prepared for him, and started it.

Huang ngfei controlled the speed of the vehicle well; only when the target set foot on the zebra crossing did he suddenly accelerate.

Almost at the mont of his acceleration, the target looked over, and quickly pulled his female companion to the grass on the side of the pedestrian road.

The target himself took a few quick steps to the side, but it was futile; Huang ngfei had locked onto him, and the target’s speed was no match for the car’s.

His eyes were bloodshot, and even the pressure on the gas pedal increased a great deal; he was determined to knock down this Chinese individual today. What made them think they could be Arican citizens, and he could not?

The young Chinese man seed to resign to his fate, stopped resisting and stood still.

His companion struggled to get up from the grass, screaming to pull him back, but it was already too late.

Just as the car was less than a ter away from the young Chinese, he suddenly disappeared from Huang ngfei’s field of vision, replaced by a tal light pole that he had ignored behind him.

"Bang!"

Accompanied by a loud crash, Huang ngfei’s car hit the massive light pole head-on.
