As a cyclist known for his strength in the team, even he was beginning to feel the strain, let alone Li Ang who had remained at the very front of the pack the whole ti and weighed so much more. It was astonishing that he could maintain such stability throughout.

While it was painful for them to watch, Li Ang also found the ride sowhat uncomfortable.

The training program was designed with the team’s average skill level in mind.

Since everyone’s abilities were quite similar, they could all roughly achieve the sa training results in this kind of regin.

It’s just that soone like the captain, who was a bit stronger, would find it easier to complete.

Initially, Li Ang focused most of his energy on how to control his own riding speed.

He set a goal for himself that, once he entered the training section, his speed must remain perfectly steady, achieving a level where the speedoter would not flicker at all.

At first, this goal was indeed a challenge for him, since the speedoter asured with precision up to one decimal place.

Even the slightest exertion causing any fluctuation would be captured on his speedoter.

Moreover, pedestrians, obstacles, or curves in the road ahead could greatly affect his riding speed.

However, Li Ang’s physical coordination, control ability, and learning capacity were far beyond the ordinary.

After ten kiloters, Li Ang had already mastered this skill on a smooth road, and although this "set-speed cruising" wasn’t very useful for road races, it was an excellent exercise for his body control and ability to anticipate obstacles up ahead.

Soon after, Li Ang beca sowhat unaccustod to this "tortoise pace" riding.

The uphill sections, which were purely torturous for other riders, bored him.

Plans are called plans precisely because there are many people who can’t achieve them.

By the second half of the climb, only the team captain could maintain the sa speed behind him, and Xiao Hei was there too but was clearly struggling to keep up, having caught up only by giving it his all.

Li Ang was happy with this; they were the ones falling behind, not him deliberately leaving them in the dust.

After the long ascent naturally ca a stretch of rolling hills.

This section no longer imposed limitations on their speed.

The captain made his move imdiately, his speed soaring to over sixty kiloters per hour.

Xiao Hei did the sa, finally over the ascent, and began to accelerate fiercely.

As he passed by Li Ang, he even made a provocative gesture, beckoning him to co chase.

Upon realizing that he could ride freely, Li Ang relaxed his grip on the handlebars and let out a long breath. He could finally show what he was capable of.

Little Black Patrice had just finished his taunt less than three seconds ago when he saw from the corner of his eye that a bicycle had pulled up alongside him and then quickly passed him by.

He glanced at his speedoter, which read 78 kiloters per hour, then looked at Li Ang, whose lead was still growing.

"Warder! Is this guy out of his mind?"

On this long descent, although the road conditions were pretty good, such high speeds still tested the cyclists’ ability to steady their bikes.

Not to ntion, the descent was not just a straightaway; such high speeds only increased the danger in the curves.

As a rider who had been training on this road for months, he would typically descend at this speed, but any faster would gradually beco risky.

But now, here was Li Ang, a first-tir on this road, daring to go so fast. There was no way he, an old-tir, should be intimidated.

So he too quickened his pedaling cadence.

But soon, he realized that even though he was giving it everything, he was not closing the gap with Li Ang; in fact, it was widening.

"Damn!"

Watching his speedoter hit 91 kiloters per hour, Patrice didn’t dare to accelerate any further,

Though many Tour de France cyclists could break a hundred kiloters per hour during downhill sprints, firstly, he wasn’t as strong as those top-tier riders, and there was still a gap.

Secondly, there was no need to take such risks just for training purposes.

"Fuck! Fuck!"

It was necessary! This was a race!

Patrice suddenly rembered the cutting words and expressions Li Ang had made in the canteen at noon. It all flashed through his mind.

To hell with the risk, to hell with stability. He tossed those thoughts aside; his limited brain capacity now fixated on one idea—to accelerate, to overtake that damn Chinese.

At this mont, Li Ang had already caught up with the team captain, taking back the lead once again.

"Watch your speed, don’t let it get out of control," the captain said kindly as a reminder.

"Thank you, I’m aware of my condition," Li Ang replied.

He could distinguish kind-hearted advice from intentional belittlent. He was truly comfortable with this speed; it was still within his control.

When Patrice overtook the team captain, he too offered a warning. But at the sa ti, a smile crept onto his face.

The team sotis needed such newcors; they kept the team dynamic vibrant and prevented stagnation.

As professional athletes, constantly playing it safe and fearing risks isn’t sport at all.

Professional athletes should always strive for faster, higher, stronger achievents, none of which could be reached without the baptism of sweat and blood.

And so, the captain quickened his pedaling, reaching a speed of 100 kiloters per hour.

Li Ang looked at his speedoter, which was reading 121 kiloters per hour. The wind coming at him no longer felt invisible; it seed to take on a physical form, continuously battering his body.

"Aweso!"

This was the essence of cycling, the true aning of breaking limits.
