Early in the morning, Li Ang’s phone rang.

"Co on, sir, just because I signed up for a mbership doesn’t an the delivery should be this fast, right?"

Li Ang answered the phone, a little surprised. As soon as the person on the other end said "hi," his brain whirred into action and recognized the voice—it was that of Olsad, the top Arican racing team manager Sheila had introduced him to at a dinner event.

"I’m calling to ask if you have ti to co over for the team’s training soon. I know it might be difficult for you to manage your schoolwork and get leave, but I hope you can co as soon as possible. After all, this is a precious opportunity."

"I can co at any ti. As for my studies, I’ve already handled the leave of absence."

Li Ang replied without any hesitation.

Olsad on the other end of the line was clearly surprised by Li Ang’s response. For a high school student to make such a decision took quite a bit of courage.

He couldn’t help but raise his estimation of Li Ang a few notches.

"If that’s the case, then that’s great. I hope you can co as soon as possible."

On the phone, the two also coordinated the details about the ti and place.

Olsad had already decided to give Li Ang a spot in the Tour of California. Although he was sowhat familiar with Li Ang’s foundational skills, he naturally hoped that Li Ang could receive more professional training and perform to the best of his ability.

After hanging up the phone, Li Ang’s heartbeat sped up a little.

It had been so ti since he last participated in a cycling race. These days, having acquired a car, he had spent much less ti riding. Now that he heard this news, he felt a bit excited.

This sport was the first he had competed in, and it was also the skill he had improved the most rapidly at first. But now, he found himself a bit behind.

Li Ang didn’t hesitate and booked a plane ticket for early evening that sa day.

However, this ti when going out for training, Li Ang did not plan to take Catina with him.

Firstly, she was also busy with her own studies, and secondly, he wasn’t so major celebrity who needed to film videos of his daily life and training every day. All that could be set aside, and it was like giving her a break as well.

After calling her and explaining his intentions, Catina said it was fine. She had so video drafts ready to cover the updates for the ti being.

But as they talked about this, Li Ang suddenly thought of a video that would be perfect to release now.

"Do you an to say I should post the video of your sniper rifle exploding?"

"Yes, that’s right."

That video was originally made by Li Ang to showcase a rather rare sniper rifle.

However, after the incident where it exploded, it had added another layer of interest to the video.

Given what had happened to him, it only made sense not to update his videos for the next few days.

Soon after, the video of Li Ang at the shooting range, where his sniper rifle exploded, was swiftly uploaded online.

After informing Catina, Li Ang also passed the news to Sheila, since she was the one who had provided him with this opportunity.

When Sheila found out Li Ang was taking an evening flight that day, she said it was a real sha because otherwise, she could have co to spend one last ti with him.

Clearly, Li Ang had underestimated the impact of his video. Just a few hours after it went live, and shortly after Li Ang had left the house, Catina called him and sent him a few screenshots of the data.

Li Ang looked at them and saw that the video, released only a few hours ago, had surpassed many of his previous videos in terms of views, comnts, and likes.

If you talk about the speed of increase in views, even the video of Li Ang winning the ultimate slapping challenge with a double in views could not compare.

But when he looked at the comnts, the content made him sowhat laugh and cry.

The majority were paying their respects with "RIP" and "eating X" comnts. The more creative ones posted "May there be no Barretts in heaven," composed mostly of a crowd who had co for the spectacle.

So were slightly familiar with Li Ang, but many were not, treating it as if they were watching a compilation of misfortunes.

Li Ang did have a group of true fans, though. His fan base had grown to over a hundred thousand and he qualified as a minor internet celebrity.

These fans were mostly attracted by his physical prowess, with followers from his cycling, Chinese Kung Fu, and the slapping contest, each taking up their portion.

Most were concerned about his current condition and whether he had survived.

So devoted fans had even started planning a fundraising campaign for him, though it was unclear whether they were genuine or just using the idea as a scam.

There were also professionals seriously discussing and analyzing the video.

"The gun that Li Ang used is the Barrett M82A1 anti-materiel rifle. This rifle is known for its imnse power, and therefore, if it explodes, the force would be trendously destructive. In my opinion, the author’s chances are slim."

"From most sniper rifle explosion cases I know of, very few survive, and even if they do, they end up with severe injuries, at least laid up in the hospital for half a year."

"Did you notice, right before the gun exploded when he pulled the trigger, it seed like he subconsciously made a dodging move? Could it be that Li Ang knew it was going to explode?"
