In several common FPS shooting gas, machine guns are not considered to have very high killing power, but that’s because of modifications needed for ga balance.

In reality, machine gun rounds of 12.7mm have enough penetration power to go through about one-inch-thick steel plates, over ten centiters of brick walls, and even dozens of centiters of sandbags within a kiloter range.

Cover that’s not thick enough can hardly stop a large-caliber machine gun, a graze would wound, a hit would kill.

Though the gun is fierce, it also demands more from its user.

Javell excitedly rushed up, and then within three seconds, ca back with a literal face full of dust.

His Strength was simply not enough to control the heavy machine gun; he almost only played a role in pulling the trigger, as the gun body violently shook due to the recoil, kicking up a lot of dust.

As for Catina and Adelle, having had a hard ti with the AK, naturally, they weren’t about to have another go with a heavy machine gun.

It was only after Li Ang got his hands on it that he realized the difficulty of taming this machine gun was much greater than the single-shot AK.

Even in semi-automatic fire, the recoil of 12.7mm bullets cannot be compared with that of rifles, and with a firing rate of around five hundred rounds per minute, each light pull of the trigger would release several bullets.

He could barely control the point of impact for the first shot; the following shots in burst fire deviated more and more.

In full auto fire, there was no need to ntion; it was only Li Ang’s incredible Strength that allowed him to control the machine gun, but even so, he could only keep the bullets’ impact within a large area, precise aiming was out of the question.

But precision aside, pulling the trigger and watching a torrent of bullets spew out was genuinely thrilling, and a true waste of money; 12.7mm ammunition is much more expensive than pistol or rifle rounds.

The only upside was that while using this heavy machine gun, his proficiency grew rapidly, hitting a new peak.

Factors like recoil, the weight of the firearm, or changes from indoor to outdoor environnts, and the impact of wind dramatically increased the difficulty of shooting, making the skill training more prominent.

Soon, his Skills level was raised once more, achieving Mastery.

Knowledge on various firearm usage tricks, such as judging wind speed, how to lead moving targets, and how to reload faster, all flooded into his head.

As Li Ang gripped the machine gun in his hands, it felt as though he had been using it for ages.

39/400 (Mastery)

(Trait: Aiming ability enhanced by 20%)

anwhile, as his Trait was enhanced, Li Ang’s aiming ability further increased.

"You don’t need to be too fixated on absolute precision; on the battlefield, machine guns mainly serve a suppressive fire role. Tracer rounds are often used because aiming is difficult, and only with those can you tell where your bullets are actually hitting," Chris advised Li Ang who seed to be continuously trying to fire the heavy machine gun more accurately, suggesting that he shouldn’t spend too much ti on this.

"Besides, the killing power of a heavy machine gun is high enough; you do not necessarily need to hit the head to be effective. Not to ntion the torso; even hitting the enemy’s limbs is more than enough to incapacitate them," he added.

Li Ang nodded in agreent and responded,

"I won’t be going into that kind of battlefield; I am just practicing aimlessly."

He had a clear understanding of his current strength. When everyone else was fighting unard, he indeed stood at the top.

But if really put on a battlefield, even if he were sowhat stronger than an average soldier, a shell coming from nowhere could take his life in an instant.

He wasn’t about to foolishly think of contending with firearms with his re flesh and blood.

After speaking, Li Ang fired the remaining dozen bullets at a target two hundred ters away, all in semi-auto.

But this ti, the result was different; although it was not clear how many of the shots hit the bullseye, despite such a distance and using a machine gun, all bullets hit the target.

Chris: ?Is this what you call practicing aimlessly?

Though he didn’t say anything, his expression was already translating his emotions.

The reason Chris had advised Li Ang earlier was not because accurate shooting for a machine gunner isn’t important. It’s that such improvent, compared to indoor shooting ranges with rifles and pistols, is just too difficult. He wasn’t a professional machine gunner; there was no need to bother.

Who would have known that right after speaking, Li Ang seed to get the hang of it just like that, in such a short ti, his ability to handle the machine gun was nearly catching up to his level.

Isn’t that just the natural born king of soldiers, with a Sacred Body?

Unfortunately, before he had a chance to speak up, Li Ang had already shown his opposition to going to the battlefield, so it was natural that he couldn’t persuade him anymore.

"Young Master Javell, you should take a look at this gun,"

Following the voice, Li Ang looked over and saw the range manager carrying over a Barrett M82A1 anti-material sniper rifle.

This rifle was famous both in real life and in gas.

Furthermore, the one the manager brought over appeared to have a faint blue gleam on its surface, suggesting a custom coating. Even in gas, a gun with such a skin could fetch a much higher price.
