"If he knows him, doesn’t he know the strength of Coach Brandt?"

"Perhaps he knows the strength, but he also has a lot of confidence in himself."

A few people analyzed the situation in the ring, and they quickly ca to this conclusion.

If that was the case, then this newcor wasn’t choosing his opponents randomly, but ca prepared.

All these speculations were overturned after Li Ang put on his boxing gloves.

Because Li Ang’s stance and footwork, including where he placed his hands, were really unprofessional, exuding an amateurish vibe throughout.

"Hey, brother, looking at him reminds of my first day stepping into the ring."

"I take back what I just said, it’s purely a mysterious self-confidence."

But Coach Brandt knew the inside story, because Li Ang wasn’t a boxer at all, he practiced Chinese Kung Fu, and not being familiar with so boxing routines and techniques was perfectly normal.

So even now in the ring, boxing under boxing rules, he had the advantage, but he was still very careful.

Li Ang swung his arms in the air tentatively, feeling out the reach of his attacks and the way to exert force with boxing gloves on.

But in the eyes of others, there was one more thing about him that could be mocked.

Seeing that Li Ang didn’t launch an offensive, Blant imdiately moved in close and threw two probing punches at Li Ang’s head.

At that mont, Li Ang’s hands were nowhere near protecting his head, hanging down at his sides.

For a boxing rookie, dropping the hands typically equated to leaving one’s self wide open because their response ti usually wouldn’t be quick enough to evade the opponent’s attacks, relying solely on their hands for defense.

Yet, Li Ang was able to block these two rapid probing punches even with his hands dropped.

This made him appear quite seasoned.

Because this was a defensive technique possibly employed by professional boxers, dropping the hands to conserve energy, while also inducing the opponent to attack and maintaining a better field of vision for dodging.

After tentatively blocking twice, Li Ang still didn’t start counterattacking, instead relying solely on his response to dodge Blant’s attacks.

Coach Brandt knew that Li Ang was then getting accustod to the rhythm of boxing attacks, and not wanting to take advantage of his inexperience, he kept his attacks moderately slow at first.

But soon he realized that his attacks were completely unable to hit Li Ang.

He continued to speed up his attacks to a normal pace, but Li Ang’s head always seed to move one step faster, dodging his fists.

This, in a formal match, would already amount to one side having a crushing advantage.

In order to land a single hit on Li Ang, he gave up the offensive power of his punches and pushed his speed to the limit.

"You see, Coach Brandt’s punching speed is too fast!"

"But such fast punching speed must reduce so of its power, right?"

"Haven’t you guys noticed that the Chinese guy dodging there hasn’t been hit a single ti so far, and the round is about to end?"

"This reminds of the famous dodging scenes of boxing champ Tyson, and I take back what I said again, he is definitely an expert."

"Ding! Ding!"

The round bell sounded, a full three minutes passed, and apart from the initial two swings, all of Blant’s fists failed to hit even once, instead leaving him thoroughly exhausted.

If he hadn’t been training every day, a common bystander by now would have been too tired to move from just waving their fists.

Naturally, Blant wouldn’t say sothing foolish like, "why do you only dodge?" Li Ang’s continuous dodging had already proved the gap between them in this regard, in other words, he had placed himself in an invincible position.

Moreover, looking at his stamina, he appeared to be quite energetic, with his dodging movents still agile and his speed showing no signs of decreasing.

[Reaction] 0.05

Li Ang was quite satisfied with his results from this round, not only had his reflexes been trained, but his proficiency in [Twelve-Road Tan Tui] had also increased significantly.

However, he didn’t forget that the session was a sparring match, not training, and such dodging for one round was enough; any more would plainly be humiliating.

The second round started, and Li Ang finally stopped dodging, initiating his attack instead.

"Bang!"

A straight punch of no special rit hit Blant’s gloves.

Li Ang’s punch wasn’t fast, but it left one feeling, heavy.

Blant could feel his palms numbing even through the gloves from the vibration.

However, that heavy punch was just the beginning.

"Bang! Bang!"

Li Ang’s fists grew faster, and what was more terrifying was that the power behind each punch didn’t decrease but instead seed to grow stronger.

Straight punch, swing, hook, jab...

Blant’s few previous punching techniques were all replicated by Li Ang.

And it seed that Li Ang was intentionally attacking the places where he defended; otherwise, with his response ti, he would have been breached by now.

Still, Blant continued to retreat to alleviate pressure, backing up to the edge of the ring with nowhere else to go.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

At this point, Blant had no other movents, simply covering his head with his hands, quietly enduring the assault.

Whereas Li Ang, like a cold and rciless punching machine, delivered every heavy fist with no sign of tiring.

Blant felt his arms completely lose sensation, and even his brain couldn’t engage in other thoughts; these three minutes felt longer than any match he had ever fought.
