Chapter 610: The “New” Shattered Star Peaks
"Did you perhaps place the formation on top of the Ninth Star Peak?" Reaching the lush forest on top of the Ninth Star Peak, Feng Chen who was rather familiar with the chaotic qi on the Shattered Star Peaks could not help asking this as he clearly felt the absence of chaotic qi in the air around him.
The only thing he could think of was the formation Xuan Hao told him that he would set up… However, the formation Xuan Hao told him he would set up was clearly not supposed to be on the Ninth Star Peak!
For this reason, Feng Chen felt confused as to why there was no chaotic qi present on the Ninth Star Peak.
Maybe the chaotic qi on the other Star Peaks was far too violent and he decided to just go with the Ninth Star Peak as it is by far the place with the weakest chaotic qi among the nine Star Peaks. Even if it can be considered a better location than the current location of the Flying Sword Sect, it would not be by much… Not to ntion, we would end up destroying the lush forest here in the process…
Thinking this to himself, Feng Chen could not help looking towards Xuan Hao for an answer. Wondering if he had guessed correctly.
"No… The formation was not placed on the Ninth Star Peak. The reason why there is no chaotic qi present here is because the formation covers the entire Shattered Star Peaks-"
"WHAT!? It covers the entire Shattered Star Peaks!? How is that even possible!? Just what kind of formation did you set up for it to be able to isolate the entire Shattered Star Peaks from the chaotic qi…"
Not able to finish what he was going to say in response to Feng Chen's question, Xuan Hao was interrupted. Not by Feng Chen, but by Shu Yao who had mostly remained silent ever since they had made their way up the Ninth Star Peak.
"Yes, it covers all of the Shattered Star Peaks. Except for the Third Star Peak and the top of the Main and Second Star Peak. Ah, I sealed off the Main and Second Star Peak, as its rather dangerous there at the mont." Not knowing what else to say, Xuan Hao could not help chuckling after seeing Shu Yao's shocked expression.
To be honest, he had never really seen her as shocked was after learning that the formation he had set up covered the entire Shattered Star Peaks.
Well… It was not too surprising that she was shocked. After all, the fact that the formation covered the entire Shattered Star peaks and even managed to keep out the chaotic qi, while at the sa ti refining the chaotic qi into normal qi that could be absorbed, was sothing that was far above the level of any formation he should have been able to create at his current realm.
After all, the Qi Gathering Formation before being upgraded by the system would barely be able to cover three of the nine Star Peaks of the Shattered Star Peak… And that formation used a Transcendent Grade Spiritual Flower as the core!
For the current formation to be even stronger than that… Shu Yao's surprise was understandable, as she most likely thought that it was a formation set up using more than one Transcendent Grade Spiritual Treasure!
If she found out that the Chaotic Qi Formation could cover an even wider area and that the core of the formation was sothing above the Transcendent Grade, Xuan Hao had no idea how she would react…
"Covers all of the Shattered Star Peaks… Won't this an that we are free to expand wherever we want inside the Shattered Star Peaks without having to worry about the chaotic qi!?" Muttering the first few words to herself as she went over what Xuan Hao said, Shu Yao soon exclaid loudly once again before looking towards him filled with disbelief.
Very clearly, she had not expected that they would be able to build across almost all of the Star Peaks!
"Well… Yes, it does, but I would recomnd we start building on either the Fourth or the Seventh Star Peak as those are the two best locations. Not to ntion, we don't need to waste all our resources building all across the Shattered Star Peaks, as even after we rge together, our sect is still far too small to cover such a large area…" Smiling wryly upon hearing what Shu Yao said about expanding al over the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao quickly injected.
No matter what, building a massive sect that covered the entirety of the Shattered Star Peaks, was a far too hard thing to accomplish for the current Flying Sword Sect. Not to ntion, they had far too few mbers to even fill out a fraction of such a massive sect. Even when rging together with the Spring Flower Sect, they would still be far away from such a thing.
At the mont, a single Star Peak was more than enough to accommodate the current Flying Sword Sect!
On the other hand, expanding the sect would be easily done in the future with so much space left on the Shattered Star Peaks.
"This is amazing… I'm sure the elders won't be unhappy about rging with the Flying Sword Sect after seeing this place…" Muttering this to herself after having confird all the things on her mind, Shu Yao just began observing the barely visible formation above her as it absorbed and refined the chaotic qi outside before releasing it inside the formation as pure qi that could be absorbed with ease.
Even though the concentration of qi was not that high yet, she could easily imagine how this place would turn out a few months in the future… It would beco a holy land for cultivation!
Not to ntion cultivators, the plants growing on the Ninth Star Peak and across the Shattered Star Peaks should also begin to see substantial changes over the next few months and years to co, as they adapted to the qi rich environnt.
"This is indeed amazing…" Not understanding how powerful the formation was, Zu Fei was not as taken aback about the absence of chaotic qi and was only amazed by the fact that the formation covered the entire Shattered Star Peaks.

Feng Chen on the other hand remained silent as he gazed towards the Seventh Star Peak and the Fourth Star Peak in the distance.
No matter which of those two peaks are chosen, I will end up having to do the preliminary work organizing the construction together with Zu Fei and Shu Yao… Won't I?
Thinking this to himself while not showing the slightest bit of amazent at the formation Xuan Hao created, Feng Chen could not help sighing silently in his mind.
Deep inside, he had a feeling that Zu Fei and Shu Yao had planned sothing for them to work together to get him to join them in the preliminary construction of the new main sect. The fact that they happened to do that during the ti when Elder Song was on a week-long break solidified this feeling even further!

"Well, let's get going, I will introduce each of the Star Peaks as we go along and what makes them special. After that, we can decide which of them is best to start the construction on!" Seeing that everyone was slowly drifting away into their own thoughts, Xuan hao clapped his hands together before saying this with a smile.

Like this, the group of four slowly began making their way across the Shattered Star Peaks. Moving from mountain to mountain while Xuan Hao did his best to explain the things, he had found out about the different Star Peaks.
From the lake on top of the Fifth Star Peak that had now cald down with the absence of chaotic qi, to the Sixth Star Peak that was filled with all sorts of small caves that covered it from top to bottom.
However, among the different mountains, the one that garnered the most attention from Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei, was the Eighth Star Peak.
The reason for this was rather obvious, as all of them had no idea about the fact that soone was already living inside the Shattered Star Peaks. Not to ntion the other party belonged to a completely different race!
It was also after telling the three about the Half Spirit Race that Xuan Hao realized just how shocking it was to soone familiar with the world to see a non-human sentient race.
At the sa ti, it also made Xuan Hao feel more interested in just what had made the other sentient races disappear in the past. After all, according to his conversation with the grand elder of the Half Spirit Race, there were far more races all over the place in the past before sothing major had happened that caused every race outside the human race to either go extinct or into hiding.
