Chapter 54: Bai Fei vs Qing Chenyi

Looking at the tier of young master, Xuan Hao imdiately noticed that a low-tier young master was supposed to have the backing of a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator and have reached the Foundation Establishnt Realm at the very least.
Bai Fei seed to fit in well with the description of the system, having a cultivation at the Foundation Establishnt Realm and having a master at the Nascent Soul Realm.
Nodding his head to himself, Xuan Hao instead focused on the rewards that Qing Yi could obtain from her encounter with Bai Fei. The sudden breakthrough and ability to find precious herbs or artifacts felt a little unfair in Xuan Hao's eyes, personally, he wished that he could go and beat up Bai Fei and get the sudden breakthrough…

A little farther away, Bai Fei himself had already made his way towards the venue where the competition was being held. Confidently walking, Bai Fei suddenly felt a chill go down his spine as he anxiously looked around himself.

Not considering that it was a hot cloudless day with no such thing as a cold breeze even present and the fact that he was a Foundation Establishnt cultivator, Bai Fei shrugged it off and made his way onto the first stage.
The first one to face off against Bai Fei surrendered imdiately and he easily moved on to the next stage.
Qing Yi was the sa as him, as nobody really felt like fighting soone one major cultivation realm above themselves. Losing was all but guaranteed. Only those heaven-defying geniuses would dare to challenge soone a major cultivation realm above themselves and ordinary people did not dare think of doing sothing like that.

last year and even if you managed to breakthrough and reach the Foundation Establishnt Realm, I will be sure to beat you just like last year!" As ti progressed, the semi-finals began and Qing Chenyi, the forr genius of the Qing family stood in front of Bai Fei as he loudly proclaid.
The fact that Qing Yi of all people had broken through and reached the Foundation Establishnt Realm before him had hurt him quite a bit, but in the end, they were still family, so he was still fine with it.
Bai Fei on the other hand was his enemy and rival, back then he had barely managed to beat him and win the last annual competition and now that he had managed to take a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator as master, he had managed to improve faster than him!
It had to be known that over the last half year, Qing Chenyi had not dared to relax and had even managed to reach the eighth stage of the Qi Condensation Realm.
Sadly, this was far from enough to contend with soone at the Foundation Establishnt Realm.
"Qing Chenyi? Ha, you are still in the Qi Condensation Realm, even that little girl Qing Yi has already surpassed you! Co, I will be sure to end it quickly!" Bai Fei smiled smugly as he signalled for Qing Chenyi to attack him.
"BAI FEI!" Qing Chenyi was angered by the way he was disregarded by his forr rival and imdiately attacked with all his might.
"Pft, how pathetic, let
show you the difference in our strength!" Seeing Qing Chenyi charging at him, Bai Fei did not bother with it and only launched a casual palm strike towards him.
"Bai Fei! You are underestimating !" Seeing how little Bai Fei seemingly cared about his attack, Qing Chenyi felt his anger reach a new high as he finally clashed with the casual palm attack of Bai Fei.

Qing Chenyi did not even have a chance to resist as he was sent flying out of the stage, under the astonished gazes of the crowd.
Bai Fei was so strong! Even Qing Chenyi could be dealt with so easily!
Thinking about all of this, the crowd started to look forward to the fight between Qing Yi and Bai Fei.
Qing Chenyi on the other hand was forgotten as he just laid on the ground, it was only a little later that so of the mbers of the Qing family finally rembered him and quickly went over to help him.
