As the sun began to set, Shinji and the others arrived at the Dragonn village, guided by Ichiro to the village head’s mansion. After leaving the horses they rode at the village, they entered through the front door, where they found so familiar faces waiting for them.
One of them was Hino, the village head’s daughter, known for her pink hair and a pair of Dragon Horns. She wore a kimono and carried a sword, her confident smile just as Shinji rembered, but she seed even more radiant than before.
The other was Mitono, her husband who had Dragon Horns as well. While his calm deanor remained unchanged, Shinji could sense an undeniable weariness in his smile.
”I’m back, young master and young mistress.”
”Thank you for your hard work on the long journey, Ichiro. There hasn’t been any significant change while you were away. We still can’t get in touch with the spirit.”
”Well then, I’m relieved to hear that we made it in ti.”
After thanking Ichiro, Hino and Mitono exchanged formal greetings with Coral, the princess. As the guide switched to Mitono and they were led deeper into the mansion for a eting, Shinji made eye contact with them but only nodded slightly in return.
Right now, they were all busy, and it was best to talk as individuals after finishing their tasks. Especially for Shinji, who was just a helper to the royal family on the surface, it wasn’t the right ti to get involved too much.

Seeing Shinji bow respectfully to Coral’s question, she nods in satisfaction. Thanks to Hino’s consideration of having Coral and the knight stay in the village and giving Shinji command of the investigation team, the environnt for the investigation has improved, leaving no room for complaints.
”Very well. This eting is now over. Since Princess Coral and the knight will be staying in this mansion, let show you to your rooms.”
”Understood. Thank you for your hospitality, Mitono-san.”
”Shinji is planning to stay at my and Mitono’s mansion, so we will guide him.”

After being guided by a maid from Dragonn and a knight, they left the eting room. Once they confird that the footsteps were completely gone, the smiles of Hino and Mitono changed, becoming more friendly.

Hino and the others happily asked for a handshake one by one, and Shinji smiled as he responded to their warm welco.

”Hi, you’re being too much. I can’t think of anyone better than Shinji-san either.”
”A man who gets offended by this level of praise is probably not worth it.”
”That’s that. This is this, Hi. We need his help with the mission of Dragonn. We have to show our gratitude through our actions.”

Hino turned away with a pout at Shinji’s words, which he said while watching their cheerful exchange. After he called it ‘practice,’ Hino and Mitono were doing very well together.

As the conversation continued amicably, Shinji arrived at Hino and Mitono’s mansion and borrowed a guest room. The guest room, located at the farthest corner of the mansion, was the most ideal place for him to move quietly, as it was farthest from the sleeping quarters of the mansion’s residents, including Mitono.
After being invited by Mitono, Shinji enjoyed the gourt food and fine wine. Shinji was incredibly strong when it ca to alcohol, but Mitono was not as strong, and soon began to feel the effects of the alcohol.
As they were both married, they talked a lot about their partners, and Mitono quietly ntioned that Hino was very proactive at night, and while he felt loved, it was a struggle to be squeezed dry every ti.

Shinji rembered Hino’s sensitive nature as he sat next to her husband. While in the village, they lived under the sa roof.
