The lives of the women raising children—Renka, Milis, and the others—had changed pletely. In the same way, the lives of Alvin and Shinji had also changed.
That said, it was not as much as the women. For them, it was just adding some time playing with their child to their daily routine.

Normally, showing up without notice would not be allowed. But Shinji was an exception. He had already checked with Tsubaki through Sofira for a good time, so officially it was just a sudden visit.
In the Soukai Country, Shinji was the man who had saved the nation from ruin. They had no choice but to wele him. Though he felt a little guilty for causing trouble in the castle, he was led to the people who had finished getting ready for the meeting.
”It has been a long time. I am glad you could e, Shinji-dono.”
”Thank you for making time, Kuroumaru-dono. My apologies for the sudden visit, as always.”
”Nonsense. You e from a far land where we cannot even send letters. There is no need to apologize. Knowing you, Shinji-dono, it must be for something important.”
As Tsubaki’s husband and the face of the nation, Kuroumaru wore clothes that fit his rank. His way of carrying himself had bee noble and confident. It was clear this was not just an act—you could tell from the calm feeling in the castle town.
The threat of the Tenshou Country, which had once pushed the Soukai Country to the edge of collapse, was gone. That nation had lost the protection of the Human God (Hitogami), and since its royal line was gone, it had fallen into civil war. They no longer had time to worry about other countries.
During that time, Tsubaki and her people focused on keeping the country stable and building ties with nearby nations. The countries around them, having been harmed by the Tenshou Country, had gathered around the Soukai Country—the ones who had dealt the heavy blow to their shared enemy—and had set up a siege line.
For now, they were only making their borders stronger. But there were plans to act when the time came, slowly cutting away the enemy’s land. The trade that came from these ties had made people’s lives a little richer, and that helped keep things stable.
”Indeed. I have e to deliver the weapons we agreed on.”
”Oh! I am grateful! Then please deliver them to the armory as usual. I will send word to prepare the payment.”
”Understood.”
The foreign weapons that were once only given to Kuroumaru’s personal unit were now being standard. Getting materials from Hiyuri, having them worked on in Durin’s workshop, and selling them to the Soukai Country was a big source of ine for Shinji. He visited to sell them whenever he had time.
But then Kuroumaru’s face changed from the serious look of a leader carrying the weight of a country to that of a mischievous boy. He lowered his voice.
”By the way… that thing I asked for. Do you have it?”
”That thing” was the katana Kuroumaru had ordered from Shinji. What he wanted—paid for with his own money—was a katana made in another world. It was a one-of-a-kind piece, made by a master who put his soul into the work. Different from the mass-made weapons Shinji usually sold.
”No, it is still being made. However, I have brought back the katana you gave me. The master said he got great inspiration from it.”
The katana Shinji returned was one of the best in the Soukai Country. He had borrowed it to show to the master smith who was making the new one.
The weapons Shinji brought were better for fighting, but that was mostly because of the materials. Weapons made from strong monster parts were simply better than ones made from plain ore. That did not mean the skills in this world were worse.
In fact, the smith—who had been reluctant at first because he was busy—was so amazed by the excellent work when he pulled the blade from its sheath that he promised to make the new katana first.
”I see. I will wait with great hope.”
”Next time I visit, I plan to bring it along with a gift for your son’s celebration. Congratulations, Kuroumaru-dono.”
”Thank you! He is a cute heir who looks just like me. His name is Arata. I would like you to meet him when he is a little older.”
The castle town was in a festive mood. Everyone had heard about the birth of the heir to the Soukai Country. You could tell just by walking through town. Shinji already knew the boy looked like Kuroumaru—he had visited Tsubaki’s room using teleportation magic—but he nodded as if he knew nothing.
”When that time es, I certainly will. My own daughter was just born. I understand well how precious one’s own child is.”
”Indeed! Shinji-dono, congratulations!”
”Thank you very much.”
Feeling even closer to the man he trusted pletely, Kuroumaru gave a firm, warm handshake. He did not have a single thought that this man, whom he loved and respected, was not just an affair partner but the real father of the child. And certainly not that he was a home-wrecker. Shinji simply accepted it without making fun of him.
To a normal person, this might feel like looking down on a “fool” who did not notice anything. But for a male succubus, corrupting women was just part of the game. So his attitude did not change. He stayed pletely natural.
”As fathers ourselves, I hope we can keep a long relationship.”
”Of course. I will continue to offer honest and fair business.”
It was a line you would never expect from a man who had cuckolded his wife. But no one there knew that. No one pointed it out.
And so, for the sake of his wife and child, Shinji kept working hard to earn his keep.
