As Cades thought he head a crack he simply watched the monster as it began to convulse in a manner that reminded him of the way he had been moving back on the endless chain when he had lost his self and was stuck with the green goo, or at least of the way he had felt during it, sothing which he never ever wanted to relive again, sothing that he was quite terrified off now, sothing that truly and quietly terrified him to say the least.

The huge spider's body however didn't care of the fear that it caused to rise up inside of Cades, and even if it did, it would probably find it funny and a positive effect rather than anything else, sothing that Cades himself now slowly began to realize as he finally began to think clearly once more, the impact from the spider and the tree finally leaving together with the dizziness it had caused, and as it did he began to realize sothing else, sothing about that which the spider was currently doing that he hadn't even been able to realize until now.

As he silently watched, the dizziness almost having left his mind entirely, but simply not attacking because he forgot to attack due to the sight he was currently seeing, due to the vision he wished he'd never have to view again, due to the nightmare he was now dreaming, due to that which he now heard without hearing.

Holding his gaze on the spider he heard a scream in the back of his mind rise in volu again, the scream which he knew far too well by now, the scream which would never leave him alone, and yet also the scream that had, without Cades noticing, been silenced on this island, sothing that it had now seemingly overco, perhaps because he had damaged the trees, or perhaps because the cracking sounds coming from the spider were growing louder as they were occurring more and more, following the convulsions almost to a tee.

Cades watched in silent horror, hearing the disturbing cracks that soon turned into plumb sounds that resembled the sound of falling water, be it a tad bit deeper and thicker, more so akin to falling blood with pieces stuck in it, which was a fitting example as it was almost exactly what was happening in front of his face now.

He watched, his eye never-closing, his mouth agape without realizing it, starting to form a silent smile, as if to feel in control, as if to try and win himself over, win himself over to the happiness he had banished into the back of his head, all of this just because of what was happening in front of him now.

Before his very eye the spider grew, shedding the dark scales and the spikes that were now falling down, producing sothing that Cades could only assu to be a clearing sound whenever they collided with the gravel on the ground that now almost seed to be made of glass, as if it was growing sharper in anticipation of it's al, the al consisting of around half a hundreds of litres of a black liquid now oozing out from the gash across the spiders stomach that was growing wider and wider by the second now, resembling a smiling mouth with strings of blood trying to glue it back together, trying to hold it in place, sothing that was however for naught as the very body it was seemingly trying to help, was now ripping itself apart.

As he still watched, unmoving due to the sheer shock, sothing he would however soon overco, he saw how the spider's legs had now started getting ripped apart as well, widening their distance just as the middle part was doing now, separated by the ever-growing gash across it's entire body, the gash that Cades now assud to have been a part of it's body, a part of it's strategy for tricking him even.

However, as he still watched, the spider grew smaller, it's height changing from about sixteen foot to about fifteen foot, as if to reveal that he had been right all along, it's entire body began to change once more, one last wave before what Cades assud to be sothing along the lines of a big finish, at least that's what Cades assud as the once defined legs were now nothing more than two stilts, sothing that he thought would soon prove to have been a bad decision as he was confident in at least cutting those apart.

After a short pause however, one where the body was still dripping blood from every surface and every opening, or at least one where the body was dripping the very sa liquid filled with chunks as it had done during the entire, grueso transformation, it began to change once more, now rather than changing or removing sothing existent, simply adding sothing.

The distance between the now four spheres that basically made up it's body had widened, with the two in the middle being especially well-protected and having six black legs, each of them thin but powerful, on them, the other two parts however were not without change either.

Out of the hind-part there now sprouted two tails that reminded him of the monstrosity that he had previously fought, sothing that quite stunned him, be it only for a little bit, and of no consequence as the being was still not entirely done, sothing that should've perhaps been a signal to Cades to finally attack, but also sothing he simply failed to notice due to what was happening.

The part containing what he assud to be it's face, now covered in one huge maw with about a dozen mandibles extending from a hole in the middle of it, one that was big enough to perhaps swallow half of him without even having to bite, a size quite comical for the rest of the body, not to ntion the mandibles that extended about two feet forward, and were probably quite powerful and sharp as well.

And as he stared at the mandibles, finally readying himself, gripping his sword once more to fight against his new upgraded foe that now seed to be growing thick strands of hair, he began to curse his life, this place, and even the gods.

Then, without a warning, tornting the inside of his head that was still plagued by Manug's scream, the supposedly silent screech of the spider, sothing that Cades hadn't even been aware of it's ability to do, resounded, and at that very mont, the huge thing began attacking him once more, intent to kill him in it's new and improved form.
