Elfir stares at his new arm. The one that was cut off in battle now moves with power, crimson skin and strong fingers flexing. "What?!" His eyes widen in shock. He does not expect the evolution to give him back his lost limb.

A cry of joy and happiness escapes from his eyes. He drops to his knees right there. "I swear in the na of the Styx," he declares, his voice shaking with emotion, "that I and my lineage will be loyal to the crown of the Underworld forever."

All around him, the sa miracle happens. The crippled walk, the blinded see, the broken are made whole. It is like they are all reborn. Seeing Elfir's oath, others follow him. They kneel and swear the sa promise. Their loyalty does not just co from the evolution and miraculous healing. It grows from lives made better, from safety and respect they never knew before. It is strengthened by the horrible stories they hear from soldiers about the cruelty in the Duke's camps.

As the festival ends, the people return to their hos, their hearts full of new hope.

Hades prepares for his greatest trial. He wears light armour that fits close to his body and carries a sharp spear and a strong chain. The day has finally co to confront Campe. Who known as the symbol of chaos and destruction, a child of Tartarus and Gaia. But she was born with a violent and beastly nature without a single thread of intelligence. She does everything based on her instinct, because of this, she becos uncontrollable and does a significant amount of destruction, thus she is trapped in Tartarus and given the false title of "gatekeeper" to hide the fact that she is its most dangerous prisoner.

Hades and Hecate travel to the western edge of the Underworld where a giant boulder stands alone. Hidden within it is the gate to Tartarus. Hecate holds up her lamp and whispers ancient and powerful words.

'Æßåçæäñ¢§∆>'

The lamp glows with a violet light. Its cover unfolds like a tal flower, revealing a golden key, the Key of Tartarus. Hecate takes the key, pushes it into a hidden hole in the boulder, and turns it three tis to the right. She pushes it deeper and turns it two tis to the left.

*Click.

The sound is sharp and final. Ancient letters and symbols drawn on the rock door glow with a lava-like light. The door seems to wake up and swing open on its own.

*Creeeak.

It reveals not a tunnel, but a hole into nothingness, a doorway to another dinsion where the real Tartarus exists.

Hades moves to step through, but a small pull on his jacket stops him. He turns and sees Hecate, her face downcast. "Is it necessary to face Campe alone?" she asks, her voice quiet. "Can't I co with you?"

Hades sighs. He steps close to her and pulls her into a tight hug. "This is my fight, my queen, I have to do it myself" he says softly into her ear. Then he suddenly grins, breaking the mood. "Is my sweet wife sad I'm leaving her alone? Don't worry. I'll be back tomorrow to celebrate with you."

He laughs softly, then steps backwards into the hole and falls into the darkness without giving her a single chance to say sothing. Hecate, irritated by his joke, stomps her feet and shouts after him, "Who would be sad for a chicken-brained bastard like you? Stupid!" Her shouting makes her feel a little better, but fear still tightens its grip on her heart. She hugs herself, waiting.

---

Hades glides down and lands on hot, red ground. Rivers of lava flow through cracks in the walls, ceiling, and floor like bloody veins. Sotis the lava forms faces that scream silently for help before sothing underneath pulls them back down.

Tartarus is a place of darkness, lit only by the dim glow of molten rock. Horrifying screams echo constantly from cells built into the walls, prisons for the most dangerous beings ever to exist.

Closing his eyes, Hades extends his divinity of Secret. The labyrinth of Tartarus unfolds within his mind, every corridor, every prisoner, every floor etched in impossible clarity. But as his vision brushes the prison's deepest layer, it touches sothing vast and terrible. A secret so imnse it threatens to split his mind. His eyes snap open, gasping, sweating despite the heat. Whatever that secret is, it feels too big, too dangerous to know. He pushes the feeling away.

He calms his breathing and walks to the end of the floor. Hades descends through nine such circles, each one a deeper, more horrifying testant to ancient sins than the last. The screams of the damned beco a constant choir, and the air grows thick with despair and the sll of sulphur and burning flesh. He reaches the deepest floor, the 10th floor, and stops before a massive cell, its bars thick enough to hold a mountain. This is the prison of his six uncles, the three Hecatonchires and the three Cyclopes, sons of Uranus and Gaia, brothers to the Titans. Imprisoned for eons first for their monstrous appearance, and then out of fear of their imnse power.

A deep, grinding rumble echoes from within the profound darkness of the cell. Thud. A hand the size of a boulder slams against the bars, his hand span barely enough to hold his waist. A single, massive eye blinks open in the darkness, and a gaze of pure, ancient power pins him where he stands. "Who are you, tiny one?" a low voice booms. "And what are you doing in this cursed place?"

Hades stands straight. "Nice to et you, Uncle Brontes. I am Hades, King of the Underworld. Son of Cronus and Rhea."

The giant grumbles, "Cronus... Rhea..." Then he pauses. "Wait. I did not tell you my na. How do you know it?"

"I am the master of secrets," Hades answers calmly. "Knowing things is my power."

"Do you know about us?" Brontes asks.

"Yes."

"Then you know what your father and grandfather did to us!" Brontes slams his palms against the bars in a rage that shakes the ground.

"I know," Hades says, not flinching. "And that is why I am here. I have co to defeat Campe and free you from this prison."

Brontes takes a mont to calm his anger. "You? You think you can defeat Campe? The symbol of destruction? With the strength you have?"

Hades answers by unleashing his full power. His aura flares, pressing down on the very air of Tartarus. Brontes's eye widens in shock.

'This child... his raw strength matches Campe's,' the giant thinks. 'But power alone is a dull blade. Does he have the skill to use it?'

"Let's see if you live or she does," Brontes says finally.

"Then I will see you soon, Uncle," Hades says. He turns his back on the giant, a show of utter fearlessness, and steps into the final hole, descending to the arena at the very bottom of all things.

---

Absolute darkness surrounds him. A deep, rhythmic breathing sound vibrates through the stone. Hades takes a step forward.

Suddenly, two massive serpentine eyes snap open, glowing with malevolent gold. Then a hundred more smaller pairs of eyes ignite around them, hissing in unison. The very ground shakes as a colossal form begins to uncoil.

'Flash'

Hades conjures a sphere of brilliant white light and tosses it high into the air. It hovers like a captured star, illuminating the darkness before him.

The light reveals the monstrous fusion of woman and serpent, scaled in erald, with a crown of living, venomous snakes for hair. Her lower body is a gargantuan serpent's coil, powerful enough to crush mountains. Her upper torso is that of a muscular woman, but it ends in hands tipped with claws that could shred anything. She is chaos given form, destruction made flesh, and her golden eyes lock onto Hades with ancient, intelligent hatred.

The final battle begins.
