"Juda, stay up here," Lui first jumped down. Only her leap was high enough to jump at least a few feet away from the hoard.
The zombies near them instantly spotted her and started to run after her.
Tian shot all of them until the crowd nearby was enough to handle. "Yue go,"
Yue first jumped down. The ground underneath him cracked, leaving behind a small dent on the concrete. He swiftly pulled out his gun and started shooting a few zombies nearby. "Juda, co down," he gestured for her to jump.
Juda did not hesitate. She jumped into his arms.
He lowered her. "Lui guard Juda!"
Lui ca back running and pulled Juda away to safety.
"Tian! Co down! Yue shouted whilst shooting the zombies that were getting close.
Tian just jumped down and rolled over once to handle her montum.
"go go go…" Tian shot many zombies as she could and ran. Yue ran alongside her, protecting her back.
"Go that way!" she shouted, pointing to a dark alleyway.
Lui, who was right in front of them, saw this and ran that way.
The zombies were slower than Lui, but even so they ca in groups. She would not be able to defend herself and Juda from them.
Tian frowned slightly. "Yue, cover them both."
"No, I will cover your back. You take care of what's up front," Yue whispered, shooting down the ones which got close enough.
"The dark alleyway!"' Tian shouted.
Lui nodded, dashing in that direction.
After entering that small alley, she paused. "Where to!"
"Climb up!" Tian and Yue caught up with them. "Just watch what I do," she jumped and paced both her legs on either side of the walls, making it look similar to a split. With her hands, she kept her balance as she climbed step by step.
Yue looked at his sister with a wide smirk. "She is aweso~"
"Climb up you idiot!" Tian shouted from above
"Coming~," Yue was about to but he worriedly glanced at Juda. "Will you be able…"
Before he could finish his sentence, the shy young girl started climbing up the wall with ease.
"Well, that went well," Lui chuckled and followed after her.
Yue stood his ground shooting down the zombies that were getting close.
After everyone was at a height where they won't be in danger, he too started to climb.
"Faster, I'll cover for you!" Tian shouted from the rooftop, shooting down any that ca close to him.
Yue swiftly climbed up top.
Lui pulled him up with ease.
"That was just amazing! Our team work was flawless!" he laughed, glancing at them all. "if we continue this we all might survive this…"
Tian frowned slightly. "Not so fast. We are not out of danger just yet," she was peering down at the ground.
Yue ca close. The whole street was flooded with zombies. The ones which were close by to the college campus were all running about near the alleyway. "Shit..... we might have to wait it out,"
Lui and Juda sat behind them, slightly panting.
"No, we don't have supplies to wait it out. We have to keep moving." Tian loaded her gun with ease. "We'll move after fifteen minutes,"
Looking at her expertise move, Yue tried to replicate it but the bullets slipped through his finger.
Tian caught it and handed it to him. "Why are you loading the wrong bullets?"
"Wrong...." Yue glanced at the small handgun and the small bullet. "Is this not compatible with this model?"
"Yes... Tian frowned deeply. "Weren't you taught in Japan?"
"yeah but not how to load a gun," he whispered, pouting a bit.
"Wait," Tian turned, fully facing him. "You were not taught how to shoot?"
"Yes,"
"You said you were trained,"
"Yes, in sword play and archery," he glanced at her confusedly.
Tian just looked at him, flabbergasted. "You are not trained at assassin guild?"
"There are guilds for that! Oh, my god what are the cops doing! Why aren't these underground places not discovered!!" Yue exclaid in shock.
As his mind cald down, he thought back to her words. "Wait, you thought I was an assassin?"
She shrugged. "You killed a woman in cold blood. What do you expect to assu?"
"Hey! That was a zombie!"
Tian gave him a sideways glance. "Hmm… so you are untrained as well," she took out a protein bar from her pocket and started to chew on it.
Yue's heart started to beat loudly. 'What did she an by that? She refused to go with Lui because she was untrained so… will she reject as well.. Oh lord what will I do if she did.'
He bit his lips, glancing her way.
Tian too looked at him right at that ti. "Want this?"
"No…" seeing her carefree look, he knew that sowhere in her heart she had accepted him or else she would not have co back.
He sighed softly. 'If she decides to leave behind, I most likely will stick close to her and annoy her until she will accept ,'
Subtly, he scooted close and hugged her.
She stiffened up instantly. "What are you doing?"
"Hugging you," he glanced at her with a smile. "You like too, don't you?…Tian… I like you so much. I like you…"
She stuffed his open mouth with her protein bar. "s-shut up,"
Yue pouted, chewing on it. His eyes were always on her, watching all of her reaction. Her face did not express much. But her ears…. They were red.
'So cute….'
"I love you so much," he mumbled.
Tian breathed loudly. "Don't talk while eating,"'
"Hmm, I love you," he whispered once again, leaning his head on her. "Had I known of your existence before, I would have co for you long before. Sorry I'm late. and thank you for accepting ,"
She was silent for a long ti.
After a few minutes, her soft voice broke the silence. "When did you know?"
"About fifteen days ago…. But mum and dad they searched for you for so long. Mysteriously, so they were not able to find anything. Not even a small clue. I don't understand. Your na was still the sa. How co you didn't pop out in the search," he whispered chewing on the half peeled protein bar.
"It's because I hid. I thought the Murong's were after so I hid," Tian whispered, removing the wrapper. "Don't eat plastic,"
Yue looked at her intently. "Would you have co to et us if you knew…."
"If it was a few years ago…."
She glanced at him finally. Her lips were up slightly and her eyes….. They were shining in the morning sunlight. "I might have…."
