The forest was swallowed by darkness, a heavy shroud that only allowed glimpses of light from the flickering fireflies. Orpheus erged from the dense woods, his eyes burning like embers in the gloom. Ilya and Hellion sat close to a crackling fire, their faces illuminated by the dancing flas.

Perched on a nearby branch, Lily watched him with narrowed, piercing blue eyes. Her disapproval was evident in every fiber of her being. Unfazed, Orpheus chuckled lowly, his laughter echoing through the stillness of the night.

"Well, well," he drawled, his voice smooth as velvet. "A reunion, how delightful. Especially after the... lively encounter we’ve all had."

Ilya and Hellion exchanged worried glances. The mory of the monstrous bear that had invaded their sanctuary was still fresh, and fear clung to them like a chilling sweat. They watched cautiously as Orpheus settled beside the fire, his movents graceful yet unsettling.

"Tonight," he announced, his gaze flickering towards a large bundle he carried, obscured from view. "We shall feast on bear at."

Tension hung in the air, unspoken words crackling between them. Ilya and Hellion observed as Orpheus unwrapped the bundle, revealing the massive leg of a bear. Lily hissed once more, her guttural sound questioning not only the choice of al, but Orpheus’ intentions as well. The man with crimson eyes simply shrugged, a smile devoid of humor playing on his lips.

"Fret not, little one," he murmured to Lily, his voice barely audible. "There will be enough for everyone." His words lingered, leaving a trail of unease in their wake. Ilya and Hellion exchanged another glance, now tinged with deeper concern. What did he an by "everyone"?

The night, already heavy with tension from their encounter with the bear, grew even more oppressive with Orpheus’ chilling proposition. The scent of roasting bear at, foreign to their usual campfire fare, mingled with the smoky aroma of burning wood, creating an unsettling atmosphere.

As Orpheus busied himself with preparing the unconventional al, Ilya and Hellion couldn’t help but wonder what other secrets this enigmatic figure held, and how their paths had beco so intertwined. They knew better than to challenge this dangerous man; their instincts warned them that crossing him would be a grave mistake.

Minutes ticked away, the crackling fire and sizzling at providing the only sounds in the stillness. Orpheus, seemingly defying his otherworldly nature, skillfully tended to the cooking. As the scent of roasting at filled the air, thick and overpowering, he turned to his companions.

"Dinner is served," he declared theatrically, presenting a charred piece of bear at to Ilya first. She hesitated, uncertainty glimring in her eyes at the sight of the unfamiliar food. But with the events of the day still fresh in her mind, she accepted the offering with a curt nod. Hellion followed suit, taking his portion without a word.

Lily, however, resisted. She looked at the at with disdain, a haughty expression crossing her face. With a regal harrumph, she reluctantly took the offering, though her displeasure was clear.

"You’re so annoying," she thought to herself, glaring at Orpheus as she picked at the at with her tail.

Orpheus, on the other hand, found her reaction amusing. A sly smile played on his lips, his crimson eyes gleaming with a predatory glint. Perhaps it was the defiance in Lily’s nature, a stark contrast to the gentle deanor of Ella (Ea).

"It would be interesting to ta her," he mused, chuckling softly. The sound sent a shiver down Lily’s spine, despite her best efforts to ignore it.

"Now, now, little nightingale," he said, his voice dripping with feigned sympathy.

"Surely you’ve tried bear at before. It’s quite the delicacy, if I do say so myself."

"Hmph!" Lily harrumphed, choosing to ignore him.

Orpheus, seemingly unperturbed by Lily’s icy glare, reached into a concealed compartnt within his cloak. With a dramatic flourish, he produced a worn leather satchel, the faint clinking of glass bottles emanating from within.

"Now, for a drink to accompany this... unique feast," he declared, a mischievous spark in his crimson eyes. With a practiced flick of his wrist, he uncorked a bottle, revealing a dark red wine that shimred in the flickering firelight. The aroma that wafted through the air was rich and alluring, a stark contrast to the smoky scent of the roasting bear.

Pouring generous portions into three waiting cups, he offered one to each of his companions. Ilya regarded the wine with a hint of hesitation, unsure if placing her trust in this enigmatic figure was wise. Hellion, however, accepted the cup readily, his brow furrowed in contemplation.

"So, you disappeared just to go buy wine? I never would have guessed you were such a heavy drinker," Lily teased, throwing her words at Orpheus who simply shrugged in response.

"Well, I thought my clone could fool her, but it seems only those two siblings were fooled," Orpheus admitted, ignoring the strange looks from the siblings who were probably confused about Lily’s comnt.

He had no intention of revealing that the person they had been interacting with for the past two days was actually his clone.

Observing Orpheus play along, Lily grew increasingly annoyed. With an icy glare, she stomped her feet on the ground and stord off to her tent, slamming the door shut behind her.

"This man infuriates to no end. If it weren’t for the fact that I know I can’t beat him, I would have bashed his head on the ground multiple tis. How hateful. It’s so frustrating that I got paired up with this weirdo," Lily grumbled as she rolled onto her bed, clutching a teddy bear tightly. The bear served as a substitute for her frustrations towards Orpheus. If the teddy bear could speak, it would have cried out in protest against the unfair treatnt it received from its owner, who always took out her anger on it. Poor teddy bear.

anwhile, outside, Orpheus, with his powerful senses, couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of the suffering teddy bear.

"Poor teddy bear," he mused to himself.

He shifted his attention to the siblings, who were now behaving like scared rabbits in his presence after Lily’s sudden departure.

"You should go to sleep early. We’ll be departing early tomorrow," Orpheus instructed.

Ilya nodded quickly and hurriedly stood up, followed by Hellion. The siblings disappeared into their respective tents.

"Heh! Look at them, acting as if I’m so devil about to devour them. Well, that little girl’s blood might not be too bad," Orpheus thought, his crimson eyes gleaming and sharp fangs visible inside his mouth. For a mont, he appeared like a bloodthirsty demon.

Shaking his head, Orpheus suppressed his desire to drink blood. Whenever he teased Lily, he felt a strong urge to satisfy his hunger. As the primogenitor of the vampires, he had better control over his cravings, but recently, he had been struggling to keep his hunger in check. This was an issue that needed to be addressed, Orpheus thought to himself.
