Nix coldly grinned.
"I wanted to examine you guys but I don’t like your energies. It slls worse than that ill-fortuned girl with swirly designs. I don’t think father will like it if I brought one of you back. Please disappear..."
The monsters were also tired of standing around, they attacked first in a wave of dark origin, the darkness covered the sky and ca crashing down upon Nix in a deluge of dark origin attacks.
Nix gave them a cold glare when she saw the monsters jumping her way.
"So annoying..."
Nix was annoyed as a wave of power spread out from her. It’s like a ripple forming on a lake’s surface.
She used her powers to manipulate boundaries.
The power of Boundaries assaulted the monsters.
The abominations were disgusting to behold but they are all powerful transmogrified tier 5 demonic beasts.
Yet, it took she no more than a single move to reduce them to sothing less than dust.
With a wave of her hand, she deleted the monsters from existence.
This is the might of powerful origin master.
This is Nix power.
She didn’t change her cold expression, it was like she just kicked a bunch of pebbles out of her way. Her eyes glimred and she looked at the ground where the monsters once stood. Sothing was there.
There are black wisps of light dancing there.
There are about a dozen of these black wisps of light floating around. They looked like oversized earthworms that wriggled with weird movents. Although they danced around in the sky, none of the wisps of light are dumb enough to fly in Nix’s direction.
She started looking at the black lights with a curious look.
Although she was not sure what those lights were, she saw the behavior the black lights exhibited and she could confirm one thing.
The lights were either sentient or capable of acting on basic survival instincts like staying away from harmful stimuli.
Black lights that had instincts or consciousness? It could even attach itself to other lifeforms?
Nix has seen many wonderful and fantastic events. Weird stuff was the norm back in the day. Even so, she was still intrigued by what she was seeing right now.
"The demons beca those abominations because of you guys, right?"
She grinned and she stretched out her hand.
"Fine, the disgusting monsters can go but I am taking you guys back with for research purposes..."
The black lights twitched when Nix said that. The mont she stretched out her hand, the black lights started scattering in all directions.
That speed was already beyond an average Level 4 origin master top speed.
"Running away?"
She was glad to see the black lights running away.
The black lights ran away when she attacked. They didn’t run away when the environnt wasn’t favorable to them. This rules out the instinct hypothesis suggesting so levels of intelligence.
Perhaps they only have basic capabilities like flight based on a scenario.
"Huh?!, Now this is interesting..."
Nix spread her palm and a cube with golden surfaces appeared.
She wasn’t just skilled in boundary manipulation, she was also a master at constructing barriers.
The golden cube is a barrier she was adept at setting up: a fourfold barrier.
If there are other people here then they would see three other smaller cubes stacked inside the barrier.
She used her barrier powers with the intent to catch all the black lights.
The cube expanded as it soared through the air like a shooting star. It’s still expanding even when it already caught up with the black lights.
Shing
The cube expanded from palm-size to a size that can envelop the stone formations here.
The black lights are fast but not faster than the expanding cube. The cube expanded so largely it engulfed the stone formations and the black lights that didn’t make it out in ti.
When the cube caught all the black lights, the four-fold barrier steadied and it shrunk back down into a size that could fit in Nix’s palm.
She looked at the black lights that ramd the insides of the barrier in an attempt to bust out of their confinent. Nix grinned coldly.
"I guess I won’t be bored any ti soon..."
She tapped the cube holding the black lights as she chuckled.
"It seems I am not the only one interested in you..."
She increased her volu, making sure anyone in that area could hear her.
She didn’t do that because she was paranoid.
Bzzt
A lightning bolt split the clouds above, its brilliance lit up the stone formations here.
Nix’s face was calm facing the lightning bolt. No, she was looking at the person who created that lightning bolt.
It was an old man who looked like he’s in his 50s. He had a long beard.
He was wearing a white robe with lightning insignia on it. It was apparent he was very high leveled considering he ca here while riding a lightning bolt.
Yet, shocking as his arrival might be, the aura he was emanating is faint. He looked like a regular old man in a white robe.
Swish!
A sonic boom crashed near them. The one who created this phenonon was an unassuming elder with a grey robe.
This old man could also hover in the air.
Then, another elder ca from a far in a black blur. He stood near the elder in a white robe.
This elder wore a black robe.
In a short span of ti, three origin masters appeared in the deep region of the Giant Beast Forest.
That was not the end of this.
Swish!
Another person arrived in a storm.
She had long hair and she looked like she was in her 30s, younger than the n near her. The wrinkles near the corners of her eyes suggested that she was older than she looks.
She was an elegant and beautiful woman.
She was also floating in the air.
The four powerful origin master stood in the sky in a square formation. They reined in their auras so they appeared like normal humans except they are hovering in the sky.
Nix smiled radiantly when she saw the four origin masters, she hadn’t expected to et people here, those intruders could make this interesting but she was more interested in sothing else.
Not the four flying humans.
Instead, Nix looked at the stone formations in front of her. The four flying origin masters also looked in that direction.
