After one year.
In the dining hall of the King's Castle in Forza Kingdom.
It was a dining hall but there was no food.
People were sitting around a long rectangular table and at the head of the table had the biggest seat.
It was the seat of the King of Forza Kingdom.
And in front of this seat, at the opposite end of the table was the sa size seat.
On that seat, sat Pablo Castillo.
After leaving the Crucible, Pablo had spent all of his ti in his room.
He stopped coming out.
He t no one during all this ti.
He stayed locked in and stared at the ceiling.
He only saw Cupid and sotis when Cupid got bored, she used to take a stroll while Pablo remained lying on his bed.
He talked next to nothing and no matter how hard the Angel tried to talk, Pablo just won't say more than a few words.
Cupid just couldn't understand how soone like Pablo beca like that just after the death of one girl whom he always called a bitch and dangerous.
His love for Sera ca suddenly and Cupid could not understand that at all.
So one day, the angel decided to be stubborn and pressed Pablo to give an answer.
Annoyed by her bickering, Pablo gave her his thoughts that churned inside his mind.
And to the Angel's surprise, Pablo only said one sentence.
"She died for ."
Cupid went silent and thought about it. She had nothing to do for all this ti so she decided to go deep into it.
She knew Pablo enough to know that he wouldn't die for soone.
So when he saw Sera dying for him, that awakened sothing inside him.
For Pablo, dying was a sha. And to die for soone else was even bigger sha than that.
Only idiots do that.
But Pablo had no idea that soone could die for him. He had no idea how the person feels when soone dies for them.
When Pablo saw those dying eyes of Sera which were closed forever for him, he felt all kinds of emotions he didn't know existed inside him.
Sera's love finally made its way into his heart but it was too late now.
She was dead.
Pablo loved Sera and she wasn't alive anymore.
But Pablo's love was there and out of all the curses, love was the most twisted of them all.
Pablo's love made him rember Sera and it made him rember how he treated her. How he acted like she was the worst person in the world. Like she was the most annoying person in the world.
And since he was in love, he wanted Sera close to him. But she wasn't. So that gave birth to more pain. That gave birth to the sa mory of Sera's eyes closing for him.
Pablo was caught in a loop.
Sera died for him, he loves her, he wants her near him, but he can't have her because she is dead, she died for him.
Pablo got stuck in this cycle and he did nothing for one year. He felt like doing nothing.
He took Sera for granted and now he regretted it.
But even during this grief, he was waiting. He was waiting for the news. He was waiting for the call.
The call from his subordinates.
He had assigned so tasks to all of them and he had told them to call him after everything was done.
And right now, here they were.
After one year, Pablo finally received the call from his people yesterday.
Pablo finally found so light in his eyes and he fixed today's eting right away.
He chose the dining hall of the King's castle as it was the biggest area Pablo had seen.
All the people around Pablo, he was seeing them after one whole year.
They looked like changed n. They appeared healthier, wealthier and most of all… happier.
But the sa could not be said about Pablo.
The man who liked cleanliness and tidiness was nowhere to be seen now.
Big black beard, unkempt long hairs, dark circles under eyes, black shirt and black pants that had clearly lost their luster and color.
The cold deanoring Pablo had vanished and now only a lover was seated among them.
Pablo looked at his right.
Draxus Maverick was seated.
Beside Draxus was Hena and she had her arm around Draxus.
Pablo looked at his left.
Flashy Rail was seated.
Beside Flashy was a woman. A middle aged woman with little wrinkles around her eyes.
The woman had her arms crossed with Gerald's.
The eight slaves were also there.
And there were many more people that Pablo was seeing the first ti.
Andrezj and Cupid floated behind Pablo and Pablo glanced at the male angel only for a second.
He averted his eyes at the gathering again and placed both his hands on the table.
"State your work. If I hear any bad news, I will cut off your tongues." Pablo outright threatened the people.
Draxus and Flashy exchanged looks and then they smiled.
Pablo was still there. He still had his manner in him. He didn't completely vanish.
But Draxus didn't know that Pablo was waiting for this day for one whole year and if after all that wait, he heard bad news he would obviously snap and cut more than just tongue.
Nevertheless, the people didn't make Pablo wait as no matter how he looked right now, he was still the man who made all this possible.
So, the eting finally started as Gerald stood up from his chair.
He bowed at Pablo and Pablo just waved his hand saying, carry on.
Gerald did just that.
"I am now the successful King of Jasper Kingdom, sir. The King of Vampires. These are my five high dukes and they all are strong. So noble vampires tried to make problems for but they died. And now everything is under control in Jasper. Nothing wrong happens there. The slavery has been abolished from my kingdom and strict rules have been implented for cris. What I am saying is…"
Gerald flashed a big smile and bowed again.
"There is no evil in my kingdom anymore, sir."
