Hena’s palms finally glowed white.

The criminal was forced to close his eyes.

And the other pairs were forced to turn their heads at the light as it was the last thing they expected to see in the early morning.

The light stayed for a few seconds and after it went away, everyone saw the scene.

Pablo was also among them as he also couldn’t see past the white light.

Nevertheless, he could finally see and what he saw made him believe his idea.

The criminal was still in front of Hena but instead of lust and excitent, his face had horror written on it.

His left hand was on the left side of his chest and his face grimaced in various motions as if he was experiencing all the stages of all kinds of pain that existed in the world.

Hena still had her eyes closed but when she heard so gasps from the criminal, she opened her eyes.

As soon as she saw the fat man’s face, she bead.

It worked.

She broke into a smile.

The criminal had questions written on his face but he wasn’t in any position to ask them as his lips quivered like he would encounter paralysis in the next second.

He began swaying, he beca tilting towards Hena and before he could fall on her, the elf swiftly went backwards.

She then stood up and watched the criminal dangling on his spot like a drunkard.

The other pairs watched for a while and then focused on their own fights. They knew it was over.

The criminal held his chest with his left hand and his right hand reached out towards Hena.

The girl would have moved further back if not for the fact that the criminal suddenly...

THUD!

Fell down.

The fat man fell face first on Hena’s legs.

His last wish of even touching the girl remained unfulfilled.

Hena finally heaved a sigh of relief. She felt like a ton of load lifted off her shoulders.

But then, she rembered who made her feel like she had a ton of load on her chest in the first place.

She road her eyes around the ground and saw the culprit.

Draxus Maverick.

The man also saw her gaze and simply sighed.

Here it cos.

"How dare you do that to ? You ca here and tripped ! I thought you were a good man. Don’t ever co near again!"

After saying her part, she averted her eyes and looked at the stage.

Draxus was left standing with only one finger raised and his mouth half open.

Really. You will get killed one day, Czar.

He shook his head and accepted Hena’s hate. He couldn’t argue with Pablo after all.

anwhile Pablo, he paid no mind to Hena’s anger at Draxus and said sothing else.

"Good job, Hena. You did well. Also, I hope you understand your Ego better now. The mont you felt that the man would get on top of you, your magic worked. When you were terrified, what you wanted happened. Make sure to keep this in mind. It will help you."

Pablo said all that with a smile and Hena returned the smile as well.

Sothing good happened at least. She thought, her smile not moving an inch.

"You can also do whatever you want now. Whatever you want. Just don’t leave the ground." Pablo said the sa thing he said to others and this ti he even emphasized it.

Hena bowed and simply went silent. She would rest for a while. She was traumatized a little. No, not a little. She was traumatized a lot.

Being a girl is a bad thing in this world. And being a pretty girl is even worse.

On the other hand, Draxus understood why Pablo made him trip Hena.

The man wanted the girl to know more about the workings of her Ego.

He made hated by a beautiful girl because of so training. I don’t want her to outright love but I am a man too.

Nevertheless, Draxus shook his head and let it go. He couldn’t do anything anyway.

Pablo then focused on the next soldiers and that’s when his eyes fell on Nike. His other slave.

His eyes fell there because Nike had the longest sword in the world in his hands.

Nike’s Ego allowed him to create anything and he used it to create the longest sword.

It was thin, it wasn’t heavy as Nike had no problem in carrying it. He was using both his hands to carry it though.

The tip of the sword faced the criminal in front of him, who was having a problem in reaching closer to Nike.

Nike made sure to handle his sword well as he didn’t want to hit other pairs while swinging it.

But he wasn’t swinging it anyway.

He was simply holding it and was moving in the sa direction as the criminal to not allow the man to co near him.

But the criminal knew he needed just one chance to co near his opponent as he won’t be able to use this long sword when he would be face to face.

Hence, the criminal bent his knees.

Nike saw that and he figured the criminal would jump towards him.

So Nike also bent his legs and matched the criminal’s pace. And then...

They both jumped.

However, Nike miscalculated as the criminal didn’t jump forward, instead he jumped backwards.

Nike’s sword’s tip was not close enough to the criminal now, and before Nike could move forward and put the criminal in a sword point again, the criminal used all the speed he had and in no ti, he was in front of Nike.

Nike’s eyes widened and the criminal grinned.

"Now you won’t be able to hit with that sword." He said and reached out his hand for Nike’s neck.

"No! Don’t do it! Don’t kill ! Please!" Nike cried.

The criminal laughed but then...

"Just kidding."

Nike lost all the fear from his face.

The criminal frowned.

"What do you an?" He asked.

Nike sighed.

"If I could extend my sword, then surely..."

He smiled.

"I can reduce it too."

The criminal’s brows shot up and before he could do anything...

Nike’s long sword ca to a normal length and since the criminal was just in front of him, well...

SHRILL!

Nike swung his sword at his neck.

THUD!

The criminal’s head fell down and Nike stared at the wide open eyes of the criminal in his severed head.

"Happy Independence Day... I guess."
