Kony was lying on the floor, naked and shivering.
The person in front of him was Pablo and he had no clue what he was doing here. Draxus was still invisible and he would only be visible again when Pablo wanted it.
"You must be thinking what I am doing here." Pablo said.
Kony nodded.
"But the important question is what were you doing here with the second Marshal's wife?"
"That's.. she ca to us. Her husband couldn't satisfy her. But how did she die? Who killed her? She and Boris died at the sa ti? How can you kill them both at the sa ti?!"
'Right. He doesn't know about Draxus here.'
"I can do many things, soldier. But tell this, what can Boris do with minds?"
"He can erase and de-erase mories. After we are done with the woman, he makes and himself forget about it. And then when it's ti to fuck again, he makes rember."
"Oh. So you don't fuck her like it's your first ti with her."
"Yes. Don't tell anyone about this. You did good by killing them. They were making do this. I wanted no part in this. I am a good man."
Kony begged. He still hasn't figured out who Pablo really was.
"Good man, eh? You don't want to know what I am doing here?" Pablo asked.
"You must be looking for the killer. Let's look for him together. I'll stay behind you. I will make the Marshal give you so reward if you find the killer. You can take the credit for it. Yes. Let's do it."
'He lost his mind by getting caught here red handed.'
Pablo stood up from the crouching position.
Kony was still on the floor.
"I certainly can't take the credit for finding the killer, Kony."
"Why?"
Pablo smiled. "Because it's you who found the killer."
"I did not! I was never here. Don't tell this about Marshal. I didn't find the killer. I can never find it. I never left my room."
Pablo shook his head. "You are not getting my point, Kony."
Kony frowned.
"I am the Killer."
Kony's brows shot up.
"Then.. then.. Ted was right?"
"Yes. He was right. And he was also right about him eting before I joined the military."
"But that's impossible. My lie detection never fails."
"You asked if I killed Dilinger or not. And I didn't. He died on his own by the burning oil. So I never lied."
"Then what about Whitey and Jeffrey? Where are they?"
"They both are deep under the ground. Jeffrey is dead and Whitey must still be alive."
"Why are you doing this? What did we ever do to you? What did I do for you to co to now?"
Pablo took a deep breath.
Kony asked the sa question as the other rapists.
And Pablo would give them the sa response as well.
"Do you rember Desper slums?"
"Yes. It's in this city. What of it?"
"Then you must also rember how you and your other four friends once barged in a hut and had their way with a girl while making her brother watch all of it happening in front of his eyes?"
Kony paused.
He put pressure on his mind and very soon…
"Yes. I rember. What of it?"
"I am that Brother."
Pablo revealed his identity and Kony gawked at Pablo.
"But Ted ordered to kill you. How are you still alive?"
"n like you could never kill . And Ted ordered shit. You all just left my place after killing the girl. You all thought I would die on my own. But guess what? I survived."
Kony remained silent and eventually, he shook his head.
"Of course. No wonder Ted thought he had seen you before. And no wonder you are the Killer. We have raped countless won and just when we chose a girl, this happened."
"No. You just chose the wrong girl. If you had gone to so other house that day, you'd still be getting down on this woman."
"Now what? I believe you won't let go."
"Yes. You will die just like the others."
"Then how will you explain it to the first Marshal?"
"I will figure sothing out. Though, you are calm for soone who is just about to get murdered."
"Heh. The second Marshal's wife is lying dead here. If I went away, then you will surely tell everyone what you saw here. And you probably will make them believe that I was sleeping with this woman. The second Marshal will kill anyway."
"Fair enough."
"Also," Kony added. "You will only be able to kill . After , it'll be your turn to die."
"Let guess, you will say Ted is the strongest, I can never kill him. He will kill instead. All this shit, right?" Pablo said.
But Kony shook his head.
"You can certainly kill anyone. You defeated a Demon after all. But you won't be able to kill Ted. He will always win. If you went to kill him, you will lose."
"Why is that?" Pablo asked.
Ted shrugged his shoulders. "No one knows. Even the first Marshal doesn't know."
"Fine. I will manage that as well. But right now, we are talking about you."
"Sure. Kill ."
Kony was in seiza position in front of Pablo.
He was naked and he had accepted his fate.
Pablo looked at an empty space in the air and gestured sothing with his eyes.
After that he took out a knife from his bracelet and raised it above Kony's head.
"Any last words?" He asked.
Kony smiled.
"Fuck you!"
THUM!
Kony jumped from his spot and hit Pablo's jaw with his head.
Then, without waiting for anything, he grabbed his clothes and dashed towards the door of the hut.
Pablo rubbed his jaw and remained standing. He didn't even move an inch to stop Kony.
Kony couldn't care about him and launched himself at the door.
The escape was just inches away from him.
He would be free.
But…
THUMP!
Kony ca flying back at Pablo's feet.
"What the hell?" He cursed, jerking his head at Pablo.
"What did you do? I felt a kick on my face!"
"I did nothing. You can try again." Pablo gave him another chance.
Kony took the chance and this ti, without taking any clothes, he launched himself towards the door again.
But…
THUMP!
The result was the sa.
He ca flying back on Pablo's feet.
Pablo also saw a print of a shoe plastered on Kony's face.
"What is going on? What kind of Ego is this? Who are you?"
Kony erupted in questions.
His previous calm self was nowhere to be seen now.
"I knew you would try to run away. That's why I did so preparations beforehand." Pablo revealed.
"How can you possibly know that?" Kony barked.
Pablo laughed. "When you first saw here, you put all the bla on this woman and this Boris soldier and called yourself a victim of his and the Woman's plans. Heck, you even called yourself a good man. You lied through your teeth just to save yourself. So I figured you will also try to lie when I tell you that I am here to kill you. And you did. You lied that you accepted your death and when death really ca, you tried to run away. It would have worked if it was soone other than ."
'Also, Draxus did a good job.'
Pablo had already made Draxus stand at the door.
And so when Kony ran towards it, Draxus landed a kick sending him back inside.
"Though, it's ironic isn't it?" Pablo said. "The person who can detect lies, lies the most."
"Fuck you. Like I will ever accept my death. I will kill you myself."
Kony shoved his hand inside his uniform lying at his feet.
But Pablo already had a knife on hand. And after taking sothing like that on his hand, he certainly can't wait to use it.
So…
"You are already dead."
Pablo stepped on Kony's hand which was searching for sothing inside his uniform, and then the knife went straight inside…
PLUCK!
Kony's left eye.
"Aaaa-"
The man cried in pain but he couldn't cry anymore.
Because when Kony opened his mouth full wide in pain, Pablo held Kony's tongue.
"Can't have you shouting here."
He pulled the tongue and after the damage to the eye, Pablo sliced Kony's tongue off.
"Now the other eye. It should be balanced, right?"
PLUCK!
Pablo stabbed the right eye of Kony as well. Now he was blind.
Then Pablo stopped speaking.
Because his words won't be heard by Kony anymore.
The reason for that was…
PLUCK!
Pablo shoved the knife inside Kony's ear.
PLUCK!
Then the other ear.
He punctured the Abyssal Butcher's ear drums.
After that, he made sure to throw Kony's uniform out of his reach. Now he won't be able to take anything out of it to help himself.
Then Pablo placed both his feet on Kony's both hands.
Kony was pinned on the floor now.
Pablo wasn't even bothered by Kony being naked.
He held Kony's hair and held the knife in an offensive stance.
Then with a smile, Pablo carried on saying :
"It's ti to make this hole so."
