Gao Xin nodded, took off his jacket, and wrapped it around his neck.
After a brief discussion, they each took a position in front of a window.
But this ti, there was no frontal approach; instead, they were at the left side, right side, and back of the mansion.
Everyone gripped the rope tightly, completely focused...
Suddenly, ii exclaid, "Ah! He’s climbing up from my side!"
It turned out that the bearded Caucasian was not foolish.
He had already noticed everyone descending from the attic and the action of delivering the collar from outside, aware of the attic’s multiple accesses.
When dragging the two moaning rats to the staircase, seeing the attic door, he refrained from smashing it rashly.
Instead, he intentionally took the moaning rats downstairs to the hall, and then quietly climbed up from the direction of a window.
He climbed the building with his bare hands, moving at high speed.
If the three had not cautiously stood by the windows, constantly watching below, without dropping their guard, they would have likely suffered greatly.
"Scatter and run!"
Gao Xin tossed the rope and was the first to vault over the window.
The window where ii was positioned faced the beardy man directly, so naturally, it was impossible to climb down from there, and she hurriedly ran to another window.
But this obviously took up ti.
Seeing this, Su Lei didn’t promptly jump through the window; instead, he rushed over, picked up a heavy box, and smashed it out of the window from which the bearded man was climbing up.
"Damn bastard, I’ll smash you to death!"
Su Lei kept picking up miscellaneous objects around him and forcefully smashed them at the bearded man, buying ti for ii.
However, this didn’t delay much ti. The bearded man endured the objects, climbed with one hand, and swung his broadaxe up with the other.
"Damn!"
The broadaxe, extrely heavy, made a terrifying swoosh as it soared upwards.
"Bang!"
Su Lei fell backwards, sitting down on the floor, narrowly escaping.
The broadaxe directly smashed the roof, collapsing the beams!
Suddenly, half of the attic’s roof collapsed, burying Su Lei beneath it.
ii turned her head, saw the collapse, and the concrete wall pressing down on Su Lei, her face filled with anxiety.
"It’s okay, you go on, protect the collar," Su Lei yelled, already prepared to be caught, and even deliberately spoke a few deceiving words to cover for Gao Xin.
ii humd, and escaped using the rope from the opposite window.
anwhile, the bearded man had already jumped up, only managing to see ii descending.
"Still trying to run?"
The bearded Caucasian directly ignored Su Lei, picked up the axe, and chased after her with large strides.
He charged like a wild bull, smashing through the window and a section of the wall, leaping straight from the building!
ii was terrified; she was still climbing down the rope!
"Ah!" As the window shattered, the rope ca loose, and ii crashed down hard, with rubble and wood falling beside her.
"Thud!"
When she managed to get up, despite the pain, crawling and rolling, the bearded man was already before her, lifting her frail body with one hand.
"Huh? Where is the cat collar!" The bearded man was furious, realizing he had been tricked, as the woman did not have the cat collar on her.
ii stuttered, experiencing this predator-prey relationship at close range, she found herself unable to speak comprehensively.
Although theoretically, he wasn’t supposed to kill her, being held in his hand still left her uncontrollably terrified.
The bearded man snapped ii’s left shoulder, crushing it.
The intense pain made ii scream loudly.
Imdiately after, her legs were kicked, breaking the bones, distorting her face to the extre.
She also realized why the captured rats kept wailing nonstop... It was incredibly painful!
The bearded man, holding the wailing ii, quickly moved to the back of the mansion.
This was the direction where Gao Xin had descended; at this mont, he had just landed.
In reality, this ti he had been very quick, indeed risking his life, but unfortunately, the bearded man was quicker.
At the critical mont, Gao Xin, covering his neck with the shirt, shouted, "Let go of that woman, I have the collar!"
After saying that, he turned and ran.
The bearded man was furious, but only chased a few steps before hesitating.
Then, he unexpectedly gave up the pursuit of Gao Xin, hung his broadaxe behind him, and climbed back up toward the attic.
He was extrely strong, climbing fast even while carrying ii with one hand.
ii, despite her wailing, realized at that mont, this guy had never really checked what was on Su Lei’s neck.
Gao Xin’s neck was partly hidden; the bearded man didn’t believe in it, thinking it was just another distraction.
Priority was to catch the cat; as long as he caught it, even if the rats ran, a long-range throw of his axe would kill them.
"Run fast! He’s climbing up again!" ii scread, reminding Su Lei.
Upon her shout, the bearded man threw her down and climbed even faster with both hands.
anwhile, Su Lei in the attic heard the noise, supported himself with both hands, his muscles taut and veins popping.
"Arghhh!"
He knew, with the bearded man mistaking the collar to be on him, he couldn’t be easily caught and needed to buy more ti for Gao Xin.
"Get up!"
The power of this young man was indeed substantial, as he pushed off the concrete wall pressing down on him.
Free from the suppression, Su Lei hurriedly climbed down from another window.
When the bearded man arrived, he saw the empty attic and his expression darkened.
But as he reached the other window and saw no trace of Su Lei, only the swaying rope,
The bearded man’s expression grew even darker, his ears twitched slightly, knowing he was on the third floor, and imdiately he flipped over in a single leap.
Passing by the third floor, he snatched the window ledge, flipping into it with a grab.
Thus, with the three’s coordinated efforts in ’walking the dog,’ Gao Xin gained a rare abundant amount of free ti.
At this mont, his expression determined, he was in a corner, quickly stripping off his clothes until he was left only in his briefs.
