Lin En was montarily stunned.

Then he slowly lifted his head, staring intently into the eyes of the ssenger before him, not moving an inch.

The slender ghostly figure hesitated, unsure why this human was staring at him so directly, and with such an unnerving gaze that it made him feel uneasy.

"Could you sign here... I need to return... and report back..." he rasped.

Lin En extended his hand, speaking seriously, "Hold on a mont."

The slender ghostly figure paused, asking, "What's wrong?"

Lin En put on a monocle and said deeply, "Have you recently felt abdominal bloating, a chill throughout your body, a cold twitch in your knees when walking, and a sudden urge to cry when looking in the mirror?"

Instantly, the slender ghostly figure froze in place.

What was going on?!

How did he... how did he know?!

Indeed! For the past few months, he had been feeling extrely uncomfortable all over, especially after delivering a ssage to the Deep Cold Bone Land a few months ago, his body had been subtly off.

But how did he know about these symptoms?!

Seeing the astonished expression on the slender ghostly figure, Lin En calmly adjusted his glasses and said:

"My friend, your days are numbered."

Slender Ghostly Figure: "???!"

Lin En said deeply, "As you can see, I am a professional doctor. When I touched your fingertip just now, I noticed sothing wrong with your body. May I ask if you have experienced the symptoms I ntioned?"

The slender ghostly figure replied in shock, "Yes... a little..."

Lin En nodded, speaking seriously, "Have you been to the extre cold places recently and been injured by so twisted creature? Do you feel a dull pain in your knees every ti it gets cloudy?"

The slender ghostly figure was shocked, "How... how do you know?"

Lin En squinted and said, "Don't worry about how I know, just know that your problem is serious. If you don't treat it, at best you'll be paralyzed, at worst you'll die, or at the very least lose your job and wander aimlessly for life."

The slender ghostly figure panicked, "This... this..."

Lin En adjusted his glasses, beckoned seriously, and strode towards the door next door.

"Fortunately, you t , a professional doctor who saves lives. If it weren't for our fateful encounter, I wouldn't be telling you these things."

"My shop is right next door, co in and let take a good look at you. Don't worry, the cost isn't high."

...

A few minutes later.

Inside the dimly lit Blood Saw Apothecary.

The slender ghostly figure sat dazedly on a small stool, staring at the human youth in a white coat across from him.

He didn't know why, but he had followed him in a daze.

Logically speaking.

Shouldn't he hurry back to report?

But the symptoms he ntioned had indeed troubled him for several months, and this doctor had identified all his symptoms with just a touch.

Could it be.

That even as a ssenger, he had delivered himself a stroke of luck?

Lin En, wearing a mask, looked at him seriously and said, "Custor, your illness is a bit complex and nurous. I'll check them one by one. First, lift your leg."

The slender ghostly figure, bewildered, looked at his leg, then at Lin En's trustworthy eyes.

He obediently placed his leg on the counter.

"Uh..."

Bang—

Lin En took out a small hamr and tapped his knee.

Slender Ghostly Figure: "(ΩДΩ)!!"

[Slender Ghostly Figure Sanity Value -10]

Lin En said seriously, "Does it hurt?"

The slender ghostly figure trembled, "It hurts! It hurts dozens of tis more than before!"

Lin En said deeply, "If it hurts, that's right. The root of the problem is here. This is clearly old rheumatism caused by cold poison. If it continues like this, it will eventually lead to bone spurs, and you'll be bedridden."

The slender ghostly figure trembled, "But... it didn't hurt this much before... it only hurt after you tapped it!"

"Did I hit it hard?" Lin En asked deeply.

The slender ghostly figure dazedly replied, "No... not hard..."

Lin En adjusted his monocle, speaking seriously, "If it hurts this much without hitting hard, it ans the illness has penetrated to the bone. Do you really want to end up bedridden?"

The slender ghostly figure stamred, unable to say a word.

After a long while.

He hesitantly stamred, "It's... it's not that serious, right..."

Bang—

Lin En slapped the table, startling the slender ghostly figure into a shiver.

Lin En said deeply, "Utterly absurd! Do you know how many patients have stubbornly endured until they died because of wishful thinking?! Do you know the tornt you'll suffer when the pain truly invades your entire body?!"

"It hurts!"

Lin En leaned forward slowly, saying deeply:

"It hurts like losing your mother! Especially on cloudy days! At first, it feels like ants crawling, then like a hamr pounding, and finally like knives slicing..."

"One cut after another, swelling like a atball... a touch feels like losing your mother..."

The slender ghostly figure leaned back continuously, eyes wide, gripping the stool legs, trembling uncontrollably.

"Treat it! Treat it! I'll treat it now! Doctor, please stop talking!"

...

Several minutes later.

"This is our shop's special Blood Saw Muscle and Bone Patch, use it three tis a day, one patch each ti. After using, you'll feel warm and itchy, and the pain will be greatly relieved."

"This is an internal dicine prescription for treating rheumatic pain. Boil these two pounds of herbs and drink them once a day for seven days. If there's no effect, co back to ."

"You're tall and thin, clearly malnourished. I'll prescribe you so supplents to ensure you're healthy and can run like Liu Xiang."

Lin En calmly stuffed various dicines into the slender ghostly figure's arms.

The slender ghostly figure held the increasingly absurd pile of dicines in a daze, saying:

"Doctor... isn't it a bit much to drink all these dicines?"

Lin En calmly replied, "Is it? This is just for treating your old rheumatism. There are other illnesses I haven't ntioned yet."

The slender ghostly figure trembled, "What... what else?"

Lin En sat down, pushing the dicines aside.

He looked at the slender ghostly figure seriously and said, "Have you been feeling cold all over these days, no matter how much you exercise or keep warm, you can't suppress the chill?"

The slender ghostly figure widened his ghostly eyes, looking at his pale hands, and said, "Yes... yes."

Lin En squinted and said, "And do you often feel that the chill cos from within, surging from your abdon to your entire body?"

The slender ghostly figure exclaid, "Exactly!"

Lin En said deeply, "Based on my preliminary diagnosis, you seem to be afflicted with cold poison, and it's malignant. The lesion has even caused a malignant cyst in your abdon!"

The slender ghostly figure was shocked, "That can't be true!"

Clang—

Lin En drew his Nightmare Blade, calmly saying:

"Whether it's true or not, we'll know after a surgery."
