_______________
The Domain of the Gods, Marigoa:
Here lived the Celestial Dragons, the so-called "villains" in the current Fisher Tiger flashback, followed by millions of readers worldwide who sympathized with him.
While reading this scene, the Celestial Dragons felt an inexplicable disgust toward the so-called 'Tenryuubito.'
"Oi… I'm a Celestial Dragon, you're a Celestial Dragon, that's a Celestial Dragon… we live in Marigoa, doesn't that make us Fisher Tiger's enemies?" a Celestial Dragon stupidly asked.
"Are you an idiot? Of course it's our 'counterparts in the manga' who did it! Damn them!" shouted another Celestial Dragon angrily.
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that…" replied the first Celestial Dragon, slapping his palm with his fist as if he had reached enlightennt.
"Wait… this is an insult to us, the gods! That bastard Fisher Tiger must be executed! Where is he!? Is he on Fishman Island!? An admiral must be dispatched imdiately!" scread another Celestial Dragon, spittle flying from his mouth.
He hated how the Tenryuubito had been portrayed in the chapter as "humans," "villains," "scoundrels," and so on… In his view, slaves of every race should be grateful to be servants of the gods.
The Celestial Dragons were the descendants of the gods in this world, the absolute pinnacle of the hierarchy!
That was how this Celestial Dragon saw it—and many others who hadn't been brainwashed by the manga shared his view.
On the other hand, a fair number of Celestial Dragons who had been successfully brainwashed looked at them with contempt.
"How can you call us gods when we look like garbage!!? Look at your face in the mirror, you bastard!"
"Even Fisher Tiger, that dark-red-skinned fishman, is more handso than you!"
"Damn you! Who said gods have to be handso!?"
The dispute among the Celestial Dragons over the current chapter escalated into physical brawls. But at that mont, a powerful voice bood, freezing the blood in their veins.
"Enough!!"
Even inside the art store, the man's voice echoed like thunder in the ears of the quarreling Celestial Dragons.
Figarland Garling glared at the terrified Celestial Dragons with disdain before looking away, cutting off their endless squabbles.
"Hmph, fools… they've been completely brainwashed."
Garling shook his head in resignation, referring to the Celestial Dragons who sided with people like Fisher Tiger.
Fisher Tiger, who—according to the manga—had brought chaos to Marigoa and terrified the place.
"Well, well… how did this 'fish' manage to accomplish such a 'heroic' act so easily? Weren't there Holy Knights protecting the Holy Land?"
That was the first question that ca to Garling's mind after witnessing Fisher Tiger's supposed "success" in freeing the slaves.
"Slapping the Tenryuubito in the face? Hah? How bold…"
"I suppose none of our 'counterparts' were present in the Holy Land during his raid. Otherwise, there's no way he could have succeeded so easily, no matter how much he knew about the place…" said Shamrock after deep thought.
He didn't really care about the chapter's belittling of the Celestial Dragons. To him, that didn't matter—his position as a Holy Knight stood above even the Celestial Dragons themselves.
"Whether our counterparts were there or not, the Holy Land is not a place you can just invade, carry out your plan, and leave at will. It seems this so-called Fisher Tiger is both very brave and equally lucky…" said Sors, another Holy Knight, with a mocking smile.
"Hmph, an arrogant fish…" Gunko snorted disapprovingly as she casually skimd through the flashback, flipping to the next page without care.
She just wanted this flashback to end quickly so the story would return to the "present" and show Brook again—to see how he was doing. All she could think about at that mont was Brook. She felt an inexplicable familiarity with that skeleton, and she loved his songs—especially since he had already appeared in the ani, and she had heard his voice singing, which made her sense of closeness even stronger.
"Kahahaha! Why didn't they show how he actually did it?" laughed another Holy Knight, Kilingham, questioning why this strange flashback only showed the cause and effect.
"Fisher Tiger wanted to free the slaves because he saw the 'humans'… what a shallow reason. Just admit you were a slave too, fish, kahahaha!" Kilingham laughed again, this ti with even more contempt.
"Oh, so you also concluded he was a slave?" Garling looked at Kilingham with admiration.
"Isn't it obvious, Boss?"
"Indeed…"
…
In the Empty Throne Hall, for a mont, Imu's gaze lingered on Fisher Tiger's determined face as he carried out his "atrocious" deed… Then, in the next mont, it shifted to another scene.
His/Her gaze settled on the giant infant, Shirahoshi…
"Poseidon?"
Hearing their lord say "Poseidon," the Five Elders were stunned for a mont.
Who did their lord an by Poseidon? The legendary ancient weapon…

Chapter's Events:

"I hear forr slaves are always branded with a specific mark!! Do you see that on any of them?!! Fisher Tiger demanded of the Rear Admiral before him with a fierce glare.
"Take a look at the bodies of my crew!!!"
The purpose of this Marine ship was to retrieve the freed fishman slaves.
"N!! Take all their valuables and food supplies and return to the ship!!" Fisher Tiger gave the order only because he didn't wish to harm the humans aboard.
"YEAHHHHHH!!!" The fishn cheered enthusiastically, thrilled that they had managed to defeat the Marines.
"Don't worry… we'll spare your lives-" But before Fisher Tiger could finish his words, he was shocked to hear a piercing scream, followed by Arlong's loud laughter.
"AAHH!!!"
"SHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
"HOLD IT, ARLONG!!" Tiger tried to stop him but failed to do so in ti.
"Your cri!? Being a filthy human…!!"
"I sentence you to death!!" exclaid Arlong.
…
[Marineford, Marine HQ]
"Vice Admiral Borsalino!" a panicked voice rang out at that mont.
"The vessel under the command of Rear Admiral Cadal of Branch Station 62… has been sunk!!"
"Ohhh? Why did he engage the enemy?"
"I'm sure I said just report their location to …" replied Borsalino lazily.
"Apparently, as soon as they were close enough for visual confirmation…"
"…they found themselves surrounded by enemies in the water itself…" the Rear Admiral explained what he knew.
"Ohhhh? How scary! I guess that's underwater specialists for you…"
"Do we have any identification on the fishn themselves?" asked Borsalino.
"It would appear that the Arlong pirates, a group of fishn who caused trouble in the waters around Fishman Island… have joined forces with Tiger and are supporting him. However, as their activities have until now been restricted to the ocean depths…"
"…obtaining any definite asure of their strength is proving difficult. There are also reports of an extrely powerful individual…"
"…with a build matching that of Tiger himself, but beyond that, we have nothing on him. Not even a na…"
The Rear Admiral gave him a detailed report of the incident and the apparent nature of the newly ford fishman crew.
"How troubleso…" Borsalino sighed helplessly. It seed his ti to act had finally co.
— — — — — — — — — — — —
By this point in the chapter, Fisher Tiger's heart grew tense as he glared fiercely at Arlong, who ignored his piercing stare.
"Looks like Kizaru is going to step in… sigh, our crew just got ford and we're already being targeted by an Admiral…" Jinbe grumbled.
"He's still just a Vice Admiral at this stage, can't you see that?" Arlong sneered.
"Vice Admiral? Even so… it's Kizaru, man…"
"So what!? Even if it's Kizaru, I don't think he can handle Captain Tiger and the two of us so easily…"
"Idiot!" Tiger could no longer bear Arlong, but quickly reined in his anger and cald himself. After all, the manga's events were still just manga events—they couldn't be tied directly to reality.
"Sigh… it seems your counterpart, Arlong, is causing a lot of problems. If not, we wouldn't have drawn Kizaru's attention in the first place…"
"I don't think my counterpart went to sea just to kill Marines and sink their ships…" said Tiger sadly.
"That's true…" Jinbe added in agreent.
"But Tiger-san, it's clear those Marines were targeting the fishn who had been slaves in order to return them to Marigoa. You can deduce that from your counterpart's words to that Rear Admiral…"
"Doesn't that an fighting them and sinking their ships was the only way out!?" Arlong gave his explanation, which seed reasonable enough to Hody Jones and the others, who nodded in agreent.
"Of course it wasn't the only way out! We already defeated them—stripping them of their food and ammunition and driving them away is enough for us to escape the situation."
"Sigh~ your nature is entirely evil. Even if it's changed a little because of the manga, you're still you… but it's not your fault, nor Hody's, nor that of any other fishman labeled as evil in these seas… Wherever there is light, there will be a shadow sowhere…"
"You don't an us as the shadows, right Tiger-san?"
Fisher Tiger ignored Arlong's question and stared blankly at Borsalino's figure shown in the manga.
Of course, the shadows he ant in this world were those who had drowned it in darkness for 800 years and maybe more—the World Governnt and the Celestial Dragons.
As for Arlong, Hody, and the rest, they could only be considered fleeting little shadows.
Fisher Tiger was fully aware of this truth. That was why his anger at Arlong was truly aningless.
