Soon ti passed, and after a month of experints, all the corpses had been consud.
"Young master, look at this! I have successfully recorded the characteristics of each beast based of its mana core"
Holding a book made of animal flesh, George walked briskly towards Elric with a scholarly aura during him
During this period, he, Davis, George and Alvin had completely transford making it almost impossible to relate with their forr selves.
Hearing George coming over, Elric who was ditating in a corner slowly opened his eyes. It showed that George and the others weren’t the only ones that gained, as Elric discovered that ditation can slightly improve ntal power. Now after a month of ditation Elric suddenly felt his soul didn’t feel so heavy
"George you’re here, can you show what you have there?" Pointing to the book in his hand Elric had a warm smile, seeing them change so much he suddenly felt proud
*Is this what it feels like to be a teacher? This feeling is good*
With that thought in mind he faced George like a teacher about to collect the classes howork
And George like an obedient student quickly told Elric his discoveries
"Young master based on our discoveries, the ant-type creature which I’ve decided to na Juli ant has a core that contains two runes"
"And after careful testing, those runes have two functions. The Juli rune which allows the ant to have almost five tis the strength increase for a limited amount of ti and a defensive rune which increase the defence of its caprice by coating it with a layer of mana"
"Not only does the Juli ant have two runes, but most of the corpses also possessed more than one rune on their mana core"
"The blood bat possessed a blood Rune capable of controlling blood and a shadow rune capable of slightly manipulating shadow allowing one to blend and hide in them"
"The pterosaur only had one wind rune capable of slightly manipulating wind current allowing it to fly at extra high speeds"
"The thunder bunny only had a spark or rune capable of summoning bolts of lightning when needed "
"And the rock-like figure which I’ll call a rock or earth elental seed to be completely made of pure mana! To bad a few minutes after extracting its mana core it dissipated completely"
Saying this, George closed the book waiting for Elric’s evaluation
*Clap!*
"Bravo George, you’re really looking like a wizard more and more every day, and where are Davis and Alvin I have sothing to discuss with all of you"
With a slight clap Elric complinted George as he was genuinely satisfied by George’s study, although he also did his own research, but seeing George working hard he was suddenly satisfied.
Soon with Elric’s call Davis and Alvin quickly appeared
Standing Directly in front of Elric with a hit of blood red in his eyes was Davis, back then after seeing the blood bat, he imdiately went to Elric who at this ti had already told them almost everything about magic to learn how to do a soul inscription.
So after a period of Davis begging and Elric warning him about the dangers, with the help of the A.I chip Elric successfully inscribed the blood Rune on Davis soul, unfortunately he seed to be unable to carry three runes like Elric and experienced the soul heaviness imdiately almost causing the inscription to fail
Thankfully after a period of ditation, the feeling had greatly reduced leaving only his now blood-red eyes, as a sign of his transformation.
Beside him stood Alvin who held a staff made of bones, on it the fireball symbol was inscribed with it Alvin could fire fireballs almost imdiately without inscriptions and with reduced ntal power
"Good! It seems you’re all here, now first of I have good news"
"We’re leaving!"
As soon as Elric said this none of them had a surprised expression on their faces after all they had already devised a way to escape about a week ago. The only thing keeping them as experints but now both experintal materials and food are finished
Seeing their plain reaction, Elric had already expected it so after pausing for a bit he continued speaking
"Before we leave, let’s do a quick re-cap"
"So far two types of runes have been discovered, the elental runes such as the fireball, wind, and lighting runes capable of summoning and manipulating the elents, and enchanting runes capable of temporarily increasing stats such as the Juli rune, the body strengthening rune or the caprice defensive rune"
"And upon further investigation, we found out that these runes have a hierarchy low-level runes capable of less power and consu less ntal power like that found in the sli or the lightning rune from the thunder bunny capable of more damage and consus more ntal power"
"From this, it may be possible to say that monsters too may have a hierarchy depending on the runes they possess on their core"
Hearing Elric say this, the three of them nodded in agreent obviously their studies had given similar results
"But this is not a conclusion yet" said Elric
"Although not conclusive, one thing is sure! and that is that runes are an extrely important aspect to study if we want to beco truly powerful!"
Saying this, Elric suddenly thought of the first blaspher, that was another human who had the source of extraordinary
However, unlike Elric who goes at the path of the wizard hoping to master the power at the source, he on the other hand tried to transfer the power of beast through blood rather than trying to find the essence of that power
It’s just that Elric couldn’t say who was right and who was wrong. After all, they were both blind n along the road However from the results so far Elric left like he was going in the right direction.
Shaking off his distracting thoughts Elric continued speaking
"George, Davis, and Avin, as you can all agree that we have achieved a lot this month however that doesn’t an we should slack off!"
Said Elric in a stern tone as if to punish them for their future slacking off.
However just as they were about to defend themselves, Elric suddenly spoke with a laugh
"However, all work and no rest isn’t a good thing for anyone, so I’ve decided that once we get out of this cave, we’re heading back to Freedom town!"
