The future selves that Ti Lords could perceive and summon were not the sa as the future selves Lin Yuan cultivated through the “Three Lives thod.”
The latter were imprint projections ford across various future tilines based on one's present and past selves, while the forr... were real futures—undeniable and absolute.
Regardless of whether one had cultivated the “Three Lives thod” or beco a Ti Lord, the future still existed.
It was just that those below the level of Ti Lords could not sense or summon it.
Ti beings could view future tilines, but that didn’t an they could interact with their future selves.
“Blood Sea Lord is actually summoning his future self?”
“Could it be that his future self has already taken that final step?”
The surrounding Ti Lords looked on gravely. Normally, summoning a future self didn’t hold much significance for a Lord.
But the fact that the Blood Sea Lord was doing it—given his thods—ant he wouldn’t act without purpose. That left only a few rare possibilities.
【Your Unrivaled Insight has activated. Watching the tiline distortions, your perception of the future deepens...】
In contrast to the tense crowd of Ti Lords, Lin Yuan had entered a state of enlightennt.
The disruptions to the tiline caused by the Blood Sea Lord’s interference created nurous spaceti ripples. For Lin Yuan—who was only a step away from becoming a Lord—this was a trendous catalyst.
Ordinary beings could hardly perceive or contact their future selves without reaching the Lord level.
But Lin Yuan was different. His comprehension and command over the principles of the Dao far surpassed ordinary Ti Lords. His only limitation in crossing into the realm of Ti Lords was the sealing and convergence of his own tiline.
“You're that confident in your future?”
Lord Tianshi’s massive body rumbled through spaceti as he spoke. He had now revealed his true form. A peak second-tier Lord’s true body was not much smaller than a Chaos Void or other top-tier dinsional space.
“Too late to escape now.”
The Blood Sea Lord’s gaze was cold. Once the summoning of a future self began, it could not be stopped—and he had no intention of stopping it. Lord Tianshi had interfered with his plans. How could he let that go?
Whooosh—
Behind the Blood Sea Lord, the vast blood sea surged. From its depths erged a colossal figure—far grander than the Blood Sea Lord himself.
This towering figure had bright red hair and looked nearly identical to the Blood Sea Lord, yet its aura was far more terrifying. Even though it ca from hundreds of Great Extinction Cycles in the future, its presence suffocated all the Lords present.
“A legendary Lord... Has the Blood Sea Lord really seen his future self becoming one?”
The watching Ti Lords felt a chill in their hearts. What had only been speculation was now confird.
In the future—within a ti segnt he could perceive—the Blood Sea Lord had indeed reached the legendary realm, entering the third stage of the ‘Endless Tribulations’ path.
“Lord Tianshi’s in trouble now.”
Many Ti Lords turned their gazes toward Tianshi. Facing a legendary Lord—even one from the future—was not sothing even peak second-tier Lords could necessarily survive.
The third stage of the ‘Endless Tribulations’ path was a qualitative leap from the first two.
“Big Brother’s future…”
The Void Spirit Lord and Armor Lord both stared at the crimson figure behind the Blood Sea Lord, their thoughts conflicted.
Their own futures—what little they could perceive—either showed them dying in a future tribulation or endlessly struggling at their current level.
“Legendary…”
Lord Tianshi looked at the Blood Sea Lord and the towering crimson figure behind him. “Even if your future self truly becos a legendary Lord… given the separation across ti, you won’t be able to strike freely.”
In terms of raw power, Lord Tianshi knew he wasn’t a match.
But what he could rely on was the fact that this segnt of spaceti was his domain. The Blood Sea Lord’s future self, when acting here, would be suppressed and suffer backlash.
Just as present-ti Lords faced restrictions when interfering in past tilines, the sa applied in reverse for future Lords acting in the present.
“ROAR!!”
The horns atop Lord Tianshi’s head emitted a deep and boundless energy. The twisted force they produced surged like a vast ocean, crashing toward the Blood Sea Lord.
Even though he was facing a legendary Lord from the future, Lord Tianshi didn’t flinch. He struck first.
“That’s Lord Tianshi’s ultimate move—‘Annihilation Horn’?”
The watching Ti Lords were shaken.
As a renowned Lord, many of Tianshi’s signature techniques were well-known, and the ‘Annihilation Horn’ was by far his strongest.
Since becoming a Ti Lord, he had used it only five tis. Each ti, his enemies were utterly crushed.
Among them were even two Lords on the verge of the legendary threshold—both were unable to resist the ‘Annihilation Horn’ at all.
“Annihilation Horn...”
The Blood Sea Lord’s expression turned grim.
If he were the one facing this move, the best response would be to retreat and avoid its edge.
The Annihilation Horn was incredibly destructive, but it ca at great cost. After each use, Lord Tianshi would have to disappear for at least several billion years to recover.
So as long as one could evade the first strike, there would be no second.
But that was the typical response for the present Blood Sea Lord.
The future self standing above the battlefield had no need to cower.
Whooosh—
The towering red-haired figure behind the Blood Sea Lord let his robes unfurl naturally, transforming into a blood-red canopy that moved to block the ‘Annihilation Horn’.
Sizzle sizzle—
The twisting annihilation force clashed with the blood-red canopy. Like water eting fire, the two powers collided and eroded one another.
However, the boundless blood-red canopy clearly had the upper hand. The Annihilation force, though ferocious, seed isolated and small. At first, the clash was evenly matched, but after just a few breaths, the Annihilation Horn’s power began to falter.
A dozen breaths later, the canopy still surged, while the Annihilation force had nearly vanished.
After twenty breaths, the blood-red canopy enveloped all of spaceti, and the annihilation power dissipated entirely.
“What?!”
“Lord Tianshi’s ultimate move was blocked?”
Even though so had predicted this, the reality still stunned the gathered Lords. The Annihilation Horn’s twisted force had made even the most powerful Ti Lords on the brink of legend feel dread.
Yet under that blood-red canopy, it only lasted twenty breaths?
“Hahahahaha.”
The Blood Sea Lord looked down at Lord Tianshi and smiled. “That ultimate move of yours… doesn’t seem so ultimate after all.”
“You act so freely—are you not afraid of backlash from the supre will?” Lord Tianshi frowned, staring at the towering red figure behind the Blood Sea Lord.
This crimson figure radiated temporal power, clearly out of place in the present tiline.
“Backlash?”
The towering figure chuckled softly, offering no explanation.
In the next mont—
The blood-red canopy surged toward Lord Tianshi.
A torrent of power poured down. Even Wanwei Spaceti began to collapse under the pressure—such was the force of a legendary Lord.
“The Blood Sea Lord’s future self is attacking!”
“What move is this? I’ve never seen it before.”
“Of course you haven’t—when he becos a legend in the future, he’ll definitely create new techniques. Why would you have seen it?”
The watching Ti Lords whispered. To witness a true legendary-level strike—it was a rare and worthwhile experience.
Whoosh!
The blood-red canopy swept over Lord Tianshi, drowning him instantly.
He saw only crimson in all directions, lost all perception of the outside world, and even his connection to his true body beca faint.
“Break!”
He struggled violently, but the blood sea churned around him. All his efforts sank like stones into mud. Worse, the blood sea’s aura began to seep into his flesh.
“This… this is legendary power?”
Lord Tianshi’s heart turned cold. Under this influence, he couldn’t even destroy his battle body.
“This loss is huge…”
Lord Tianshi winced inwardly.
If it were only the loss of a battle body, he could accept that.
But falling into the Blood Sea Lord’s hands ant far more than just that.
Many of his secret techniques could be studied from this body. In the hands of an enemy, the consequences were unimaginable.
And with it, karmic thods could be used against him—a major threat.
“I don’t know how much it’ll cost to ransom this body back…”
Lord Tianshi sighed.
It wasn’t about the battle body—it was about eliminating the hidden danger.
And that wasn’t sothing that could be compared to even tens of millions of pounds of Ti Sand.
“I can’t hold on. I have to erase my consciousness from this battle body.”
As he lost more control, Lord Tianshi made his decision.
The blood sea had robbed him of his body’s control, but his soul-will was still intact.
If his complete will fell into the Blood Sea Lord’s hands, he might even be enslaved.
Outside—
The blood sea condensed into a deep crimson bead the size of a fist.
It floated before the Blood Sea Lord, spinning slowly.
“Lord Tianshi’s battle body is in there.”
The towering red figure looked at the Blood Sea Lord and spoke.
“In there?”
The Blood Sea Lord’s heart surged with joy.
Capturing Lord Tianshi’s battle body alive… the benefits were enormous. He could exert leverage over him.
“I can remain in this tiline for ten more breaths. After that, I’ll return to my original ti.”
The towering red figure continued.
Descending from the future into the present brought backlash.
The tiline’s self-correcting force would soon eject him.
“And my actions have already drawn the attention of a few old monsters in the depths of Wanwei Spaceti. You must leave within a hundred breaths.”
The red figure warned again.
“Old monsters?”
The Blood Sea Lord’s pupils contracted.
If even his future legendary self called them “old monsters,” they had to be legendary Lords.
“Ten breaths. That’s enough.”
The Blood Sea Lord looked around. Nearly thirty Ti Lords had gathered nearby.
“Everyone here has two choices.”
He said, “One—let your battle body be destroyed. Two—each of you hands over ten million pounds of Ti Sand.”
Unlike with Lord Tianshi, he didn’t attempt to capture all their bodies—doing so would take too much ti.
His future self could only remain for ten breaths—there wasn’t ti to deal with everyone individually.
“You have five breaths to decide. After that, I’ll act.”
His tone was calm.
“Ten million pounds of Ti Sand?”
The Lords’ expressions darkened. They wanted to flee, but the blood-colored power had already filled the area.
In fact, the mont the future self descended, the area had been sealed. None of them could escape.
“I’ll hand it over.”
“So will I.”
“Ten million? Blood Sea Lord, you’re dreaming.”
Within just a few breaths, most of the Lords made their choice. So accepted, so didn’t—and those who refused imdiately destroyed their battle bodies.
Five breaths passed.
Only a few Lords had yet to respond.
Among them was Lin Yuan.
Unlike those hesitating in fear, Lin Yuan’s gaze was fixed on the Blood Sea Lord and the crimson figure behind him. Countless sparks of inspiration collided in his mind.
“You few…”
The Blood Sea Lord’s gaze swept across those who hadn’t decided.
Whoosh—
Blood-red power began to gather. Clearly, he was ready to personally destroy their battle bodies.
The others who had refused had erased themselves before he could act.
But Lin Yuan and the few others had given no answer—so they hadn’t self-destructed.
Now the Blood Sea Lord would act himself.
“Blood Sea Lord.”
Just then, Lin Yuan spoke, looking up at the high-above Blood Sea Lord and the towering crimson figure behind him. “I want to know—has any Lord in your tiline achieved transcendence?”
As soon as he spoke, the other Ti Lords froze.
They turned to look at Lin Yuan, not expecting such a question at this mont.
“Hm?”
The Blood Sea Lord also paused.
But then he realized Lin Yuan wasn’t asking him—
He was asking his future, legendary self.
“Transcendence?” The towering red figure looked down at Lin Yuan. Blood-red energy swirled as he observed Lin Yuan more closely—
And the longer he looked, the more puzzled and uncertain his expression beca.
