Lin Hao, being insightful, imdiately stood up and took the lead when he heard that President Liao wanted to discuss important matters with Lin Yuan. He arranged for everyone else to leave, leaving only Lin Yuan and President Liao in the private room.
As the secretary of the bureau, Lin Hao, with his high authority, wasn't intimidated by the military district colonel, Huo Yanming. The others, naturally, didn't dare to voice any objections and exited the room one after another.
Inside the private room, Lin Yuan and President Liao sat facing each other.
"Mr. Lin, I ca to you this ti with a request," President Liao stated directly.
"Please go ahead, President."
Lin Yuan replied with a serious tone.
The arrivals of Chu family mbers and Huo family mbers made sense to him, but he couldn't quite fathom President Liao's intentions.
"In another year, the Canglan Star Challenge will take place. I would like to ask Mr. Lin to represent Dongning City."
"The Canglan Star Challenge?"
Lin Yuan was montarily puzzled but soon realized.
The Canglan Star Challenge was one of the hottest events in Canglan Star and the entire Human Alliance. Two Evolvers would engage in a battle to determine the champion, and the entire process would be broadcast live, drawing imnse enthusiasm and excitent from the citizens.
"Why choose ?" Lin Yuan asked casually.
"Because Mr. Lin is from Dongning City and is under a hundred years old, eting the criteria for the star-level challenge."
"Most importantly, Mr. Lin's strength is very close to the second tier (or rank, it's the sa)."
"Already standing among the strongest in Dongning City, if not you, should I let those much weaker Evolvers represent us?"
President Liao answered truthfully.
The Canglan Star Challenge selected Evolvers from various major cities to compete and determine their strengths.
"Let be honest, Mr. Lin. In the past few challenges, Dongning City's rankings were not good. If this challenge follows the sa pattern, I, as the head of the Evolver Association, might as well resign."
President Liao wore a bitter expression.
The Evolver Association was responsible for managing and cultivating all local Evolvers. If Dongning City's Evolver strength remained weak in the challenge, he, as the head of the association, would bear the primary responsibility.
This was also one of the thods used by the Human Alliance to stimulate Evolvers' potential and guide the birth of more powerful Evolvers.

Since it was soone else's family banquet, they couldn't stay any longer after paying their respects to Lin Yuan. Once these people left, Lin Yuan's family banquet continued. However, at this mont, no one had the mood to participate.
Their hearts were filled with complexity and awe as they looked at Lin Yuan.
An hour later, the Lin family banquet concluded. Many relatives were hesitant, wanting to get closer to Lin Yuan but lacking the courage.
"Little Yuan, what exactly is going on?"
When they returned ho, Lin Yuan's mother, Lu Qiong, couldn't help but inquire. Although Lin Yuan had beco the focus of attention during the family banquet, Lu Qiong was now sowhat worried.
"Mom, don't worry."
"During the last Evolver registration, I was classified as a first-tier, twelfth-rank Evolver."
Lin Yuan casually explained.
"First-rank, twelfth-rank?"
Lin Yuan's mother widened her eyes.
Mother, Lu Qiong, almost thought she was dreaming. She had barely seen any Evolvers, let alone a twelfth-stage Evolver like her son.
"My son is a twelfth-stage Evolver?" Father, Lin Shoucheng, looked bewildered.
And so, ti passed slowly. In the blink of an eye, over half a year had gone by. (Lol, ti-skip, just like this yeah :D)

In the underground training ground, Lin Yuan sat cross-legged.
Suddenly, as if sensing sothing, Lin Yuan imdiately focused his mind deep into his consciousness.
Only to see that tall, majestic, and grand Gate of a Myriad Realms, the edge of the area was completely lit up.
