The small café slled of freshly brewed coffee, buttery pastries, and just a hint of caralized sugar, but Creed barely noticed.

His focus was locked onto his phone screen, his lips twitching with a mixture of anticipation and impatience as he scanned the café for his contact.

A deal like this was very important for him, and he didn’t have ti to waste, especially not with a five-year death countdown looming over his head.

Then, through the low hum of conversations and the clinking of cups, a voice ca through his phone.

"I see you, sir! I’m the one wearing the blue jacket and pink tie."

Creed’s eyes flickered up. Sure enough, there he was.

A chubby but surprisingly tall man sat at a corner booth, one hand casually waving while the other held a phone to his ear.

He had round cheeks, a friendly expression, and a tie that was so obnoxiously pink it could be seen from space.

The contrast between his confident presence and his ridiculous fashion choices was honestly impressive.

Creed ended the call and walked over, sliding into the seat across from the man. They exchanged a firm handshake, and the man grinned.

"Good to finally et you in person," the agent said smoothly. "I’m Hugo, the representative for the apartnt complex you’re interested in. Shall we get right to it?"

Creed nodded. "Yeah, let’s finalize this."

Hugo chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee. "Straight to business, huh? I like that. But before we wrap things up, I figured you’d want to see the apartnt in person first."

Creed’s eyes glead with interest, but he kept his expression calm. He was excited, sure, but he wasn’t about to start grinning like an idiot.

"Let’s go take a look," Hugo said, standing up.

Creed followed as they exited the café.

Directly across the street stood the apartnt complex; a simple, modern, grey building with tinted windows that reflected the bastion skyline.

The structure had clean lines, smooth panels, and a sense of quiet luxury that made it look both neat and expensive.

The lobby was simple but classy. Light grey walls, marble floors, and a subtle floral scent that made it clear this was the kind of place where tenants were expected to have their lives together.

At least a little.

Hugo walked in confidently, swiping his ID at the elevator before pressing the button for the 27th floor.

As the elevator ascended, Creed felt a flicker of excitent though outwardly, he remained composed. He was about to see his new ho!

Ding!

The doors slid open, revealing a small, well-lit hallway with only two doors, one on each side.

Hugo gestured to the right. "27B, your potential new ho."

Creed watched as Hugo swiped the security card. The lock clicked open, and Hugo pushed the door wide.

The first thing Creed noticed was the clean, open space.

The apartnt had a sleek, minimalist design, with white and blue tones dominating the interior.

The living room was bright and airy, with a massive white sectional couch sitting across from a huge, wall-mounted television.

A blue rug stretched across the floor, framing a low, minimalist coffee table made of smooth, matte black tal.

The lighting was subtle but effective—clean LED strips lined the edges of the ceiling, providing a soft, ambient glow.

To the left, the kitchen area was compact but well-designed.

A white marble countertop extended along the wall, paired with modern, handle-less cabinets in a matching color.

Stainless steel appliances sat neatly in their designated spots, and there was even a small breakfast bar with two high stools.

Then, there were the three other doors.

Two of them led to the bedrooms, and the last one—the most important one—led to the training room.

Creed took a slow breath, taking it all in.

Yeah.

This place was perfect.

The space was so clean, so beautiful, so damn classy that for a mont, he wondered if he had mistakenly walked into so high-class celebrity’s penthouse instead of his soon-to-be ho.

It was mostly because this was a tier 3 bastion, but this was already above his expectations.

He walked deeper inside, his steps slow and deliberate, taking in every detail like a king surveying his new castle.

Hugo kept talking, pointing out various features with the enthusiasm of a salesman trying to justify the ridiculous rent price.

"This here is the master bedroom," Hugo announced proudly as he pushed open the first door.

Creed stepped in and felt his breath hitch.

The room was big. Not just big, but designed to impress.

A massive bed sat in the center, its white and blue bedding pristine and inviting, like a cloud waiting to swallow him whole.

A floor-to-ceiling window stretched across the far wall, giving an amazing view of the bastion skyline.

The walls had subtle blue accents, a minimalist but sleek design that made everything feel both futuristic and cozy.

There was even a walk-in closet to the side and a bathroom that looked like it had been stolen straight from a luxury hotel.

Creed nodded approvingly.

"This... this is good."

Hugo bead. "Right? But wait, there’s more."

They moved on to the second bedroom. It was just as stylish as the master bedroom, though slightly smaller.

Still, it carried the sa clean, futuristic aesthetic, with the sa comfortable furnishings and calming color sche.

Creed liked it. He wasn’t even planning to use the second bedroom much, but having it felt like a flex.

Then, they entered the training room.

The mont Hugo swiped the door open, Creed’s excitent shot through the roof.

The room was wide, with smooth, reinforced blue walls built to withstand intense combat training.

The ceiling had adjustable LED panels, making it possible to switch between bright daylight or a dim, moody glow.

The floor was sturdy but had just enough give to absorb impact. It was perfect for sparring, agility drills, and practicing new techniques.

Hugo clapped his hands together.

"And there you have it! A modern apartnt with top-tier appliances, soundproof walls, a high-end security system, and of course, the training room that can handle Awakened combat. Pretty sweet, huh?"

Creed turned to Hugo, his decision already made.

"I’ll take it."

Hugo blinked. "Oh? Just like that? No second thoughts?"

Creed smirked. "No need. This place is perfect."

Without hesitation, he pulled out his phone and transferred the paynt for two months—25,000 credits, gone in an instant.

Hugo whistled. "Damn. You rich folks don’t even blink at dropping 25k, huh?"

Creed felt a pang in his heart. Rich? If only this man knew that just a few days ago, he was scrambling for money and running from debt collectors.

But still, this was his mont.

The process was finalized within minutes. The contract was signed, the credentials transferred, and just like that, Creed officially had a ho.

When Hugo finally left, Creed stood in the middle of his apartnt, staring at his surroundings with a mix of pride and disbelief.

For the first ti in a long ti, he felt a sense of stability.

Then, a purple flash lit up the room.

Lilith and Tierra appeared beside him, their expressions unreadable as their sharp gazes swept over their new surroundings.

"This place is... manageable," Lilith said after a mont.

Tierra nodded. "It will do."

Creed’s eye twitched.

Manageable?!

This place was a dream ho, a futuristic paradise, a symbol of class and power! And these two were acting like he had just rented a dingy basent apartnt with leaky ceilings!

Unbelievable!

But before Creed could argue, he suddenly realized sothing.

His summons were still wearing those damn indecent dresses.

He facepald.

"Why," he sighed, his voice dripping with exhaustion, "are you two not wearing the armor I bought for you?"

Lilith tilted her head slightly. "We can wear it with a snap."

Tierra crossed her arms. "And it’s uncomfortable to wear when not in battle."

Creed groaned. "So you’re telling I wasted all that money just for you two to keep walking around like—like—"

"Like what?" Lilith smirked.

Creed refused to answer.

Nope. Not today.

Just as he was about to change the subject, Lilith and Tierra exchanged a look before suddenly saying in unison...

"Why don’t we go to the bedroom and take a look?"

Creed, completely innocent, nodded. "Yeah, sure, let’s check it out."

And so, like a lamb to the slaughter, he led them there.

The mont they stepped into the master bedroom, Creed proudly spread his arms. "Look at this! Look at this amazing place! The view, the furniture, the—"

BAM.

Before he could finish, Lilith shoved him onto the bed.

"What the—?!"

Then, their clothes disappeared.

Lilith crawled onto the bed, her violet eyes glowing hungrily.

"I have never been so hungry, Master," she purred.

Tierra, standing at the foot of the bed, licked her lips. "Creed, you should take responsibility."

Creed’s brain shut down.

His summons were scheming against him?!
