Nature was amazing. It contained many different elents that reacted in such interesting ways when they were apart, and when they ca together, they created sothing seemingly impossible. For instance, Oxygen was flammable on its own, and Hydrogen was explosive. However, when these two elents combined in specific ratios and circumstances, they created water that could extinguish both. Sodium and Chlorine were dangerous elents that, when combined, created salt which humans consud every day. Another example was hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate. Hydrogen peroxide was a potent oxidizer that could cause severe burns and tissue damage, while potassium permanganate was a strong oxidizing agent that coud ignite combustible materials. Nonetheless, when these two chemicals were mixed, they reacted to produce oxygen gas and water, which was safe.
Mokami, upon planning with Sahar, ca up with a chemical compound that would act like a beacon, when he most needed it. The powder was made up of tiny particles that contained a unique mixture of special heat-sensitive chemicals. These chemicals reacted to changes in temperature, instantly causing the particles to change color and emit a new heat signature. The powder could be applied to any surface, including the skin of the villain. And when Ahd removed the dagger from its sheath, he sared it all over himself.
To make it work, the powder was engineered to react quickly and accurately to changes in temperature. The challenge was creating a chemical mixture that was stable enough to last long enough to be effective, yet also sensitive enough to react to changes in temperature quickly. This required so advanced materials science techniques that were not yet available to anyone, but who was he? Although it took a lot of his ti, he finally managed to crack it, and created it. Now, Ahd was standing a few ters ahead of him, beaming like a lighthouse.
“Ti to catch you, little thief.” Mokami smirked, as he looked at the shining spots in his vision after chasing him for five minutes. They arrived at the opening in front of the museum. He couldn’t see Ahd, he was still as invisible as ever, but he didn’t want to let the villain know this. For now, he had to stop Ahd, because Sahar and others were busy. Only he was free to chase this nefarious villain and he couldn’t let him get away. This could cause so problems for him, but he had to take this risk. After all, the reason he ca to Egypt was Ahd.
Ahd suddenly launched himself forward, aiming a kick at Mokami's head. Mokami easily dodged the attack and countered with a punch, which Ahd also dodged. The two fighters circled each other, both looking for an opening. He couldn’t see him clearly, but what he could see was enough to let Mokami know his opponent’s next attacks, but he was also cheating. “Nigel, analyze his attacks, and create a projection of a full body in his place all the ti.”
“Will be done, sir.” The old voice replied.
Mokami then tried a different tactic. He stepped back and suddenly heat started to emit from his body. Ahd was taken aback by the sudden burst of heat, but he quickly recovered and charged forward. The heat was seeping out of small tubes attached to his clothes powered by an engine on his back. Technically he was still not using his Quirk.
As Ahd approached, Mokami unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, each one accompanied by a burst of heat. Ahd was forced to keep dodging and weaving to avoid getting hit, but Mokami's attacks were relentless.
Ahd then unleashed his Quirk, manipulating his body temperature to create a sudden blast of cold air that extinguished Mokami's flas. Just because he mostly used his heat changing ability to blend into the surroundings didn’t an he couldn’t use it in combat. True, his body couldn’t handle the extre heats, and lowering it to such a level caused discomfort in his body, but he at least countered the troubleso heat his opponent was emitting. He then waved his tail to strike at Mokami's head.
Mokami blocked the attack with his arm, but the impact sent him stumbling back. He quickly regained his footing and launched himself forward again, but this ti, he dashed even faster. He had modified his body for the first ti when he was 9, later, he created many other adjustnts that made him stronger. Although he didn’t want to show them just yet, it was okay to move faster than a regular human once in a while. If anyone asked, he could easily say it was all due to training.
Ahd was surprised by the sudden appearance of the fist in front of his face, but he quickly composed himself and drew his sword. The fist and sword clashed, ringing out with every clash as they fought.
Despite Ahd's skill with a sword, Mokami's blasting punches were too powerful for him to handle. With a mighty swing, Mokami knocked Ahd's sword out of his hand and sent him crashing to the ground.
Mokami stood over Ahd, holding his heat at the ready. Ahd looked up at him, defeated. The battle lasted more than 10 minutes, and there were people around, gathering to see what was going on. Luckily, he didn’t use his quirk so far.
“Heh, I can’t believe I lost to a wet behind the ear kid.” Ahd said with a smirk. At this ti, the crowd walked even closer. Most were reporters, and as usual, they were annoying. Their caras pointed at Mokami and the ground, but they still couldn’t see Ahd. “Heh, I have one more trick up my sleeve.”
As Ahd said so, he literally pulled out three bombs from his sleeves and threw them to the crowd, watching not far from them.
“Fuck.” Mokami swore, as he raised his hand and three tal discs left his open hand. They moved towards the crowd in record speed, and erected walls in front of them. The bombs clashed with the walls and soon exploded.
“Did you expect that to work?” He asked in anger, but Ahd was smirking.
“You forget, little hero. I am invisible. All the crowd saw three bombs and tal things you threw. What will they assu?”
“Shit!”
