Raphael’s POV

Where had I gone wrong? I wondered. I had no idea that the person behind that perfect smile was a devil

"You’re lying." I barked. The first thing that ca to my mind was to deny it. How did she get the evidence? There was no evidence and everyone who knew the truth was dead. Not even the doctors who took care of Avelina knew the truth and her death was hidden

She had a false tombstone. So how?

"Am I?" She traced a finger down my chest, over my heart. Dominic made swear to protect her. On his deathbed. He knew the Orlovs would co for blood if they ever found out. He knew they’d tear Braelyn apart..piece by piece..just to punish what was left of Avelina’s bloodline.

My stomach lurched and Alia’s smile turned vicious.

" Lucien’s getting closer. He’s asking questions. Digging. If he finds the truth..." She leaned in, lips brushing mine. "I heard rumours the reason he left the country isn’t that simple, he is curious about the mother he never knew." she drawled, then a venomous glare filled her eyes.

"The Orlovs will destroy her, slowly and publicly, and you’ll watch completely helpless because no matter what, she will always be your fragile little Lynn..."

I jerked my head away. I tried to break the binds, but it was useless. "What do you want?" I barked at her.

She sat back, straddling fully now, hands splayed across my chest as she owned .

"You," she said simply. "All of you. Not just one ti," she demanded. The disgust rolled in in waves...

"And you think that is possible..." I sneered at her. She tilted her head.

"Why not?" She chid. "It is not that hard..all I ask is for you to be mine and you get to protect what you cherish while making Braelyn feel the pain she made you feel.. "

" No more pretending. No more Braelyn. You choose or I send everything I have to the Orlovs. Every docunt. Every recording. Every little secret your father-in-law and grandfather tried to bury."

This was ridiculous. She had like a cornered rabbit. The laugh broke out before I realised. I laughed like a maniac. A broken soul... "You think threatening her will make want you?"

"No." She leaned down again, lips ghosting over mine. "But it will make you obey ."

Her hand slid lower. I flinched as she got to my waist and gripped my cock hard, I gritted my teeth.

"I know you still love her," she whispered. "Even after she betrayed you. Even after Richard fucked her behind your back. But think about it, Raphael..." Her fingers wrapped around , stroking slowly. "Think about all the nights she spent in his bed. Think about her moaning his na. Think about her belly swelling with his child while she lied and told you it was yours."

My vision tunnelled. "Just imagine if Braelyn had actually gotten pregnant by Richard and she were making you raise a child that isn’t yours. She played you because she knew the control she had." The images flooded my head even though I didn’t want them to.

"Stop," I scread, hoping it would stop, but it didn’t. I rembered her kissing him, and how helpless I was that I couldn’t stop her. They say when won cheat they do so with their emotions...

She wasn’t randomly hooking up with him, but at so point, she started falling for him because I wasn’t enough for her.

Alia didn’t stop; if not, her voice got louder as she started rocking my limp dick, forcing it to get hard.

"Think about how she played you. How she let you believe she loved you while she spread her legs for him." Her voice dropped to a venomous whisper. "Don’t you want revenge? Don’t you want to make her feel even a fraction of what you felt when you saw them together?"

I squeezed my eyes shut. She laughed softly.

"I’m not the villain here, Raphael. I’m the one who’s finally willing to take what’s mine. I’m willing to be the mistress, the secret, the one who stands by you while she burns."

Her hand tightened.

"All you have to do... is let her go."

I opened my eyes to et hers and for the first ti in years, I felt sothing colder than rage. Clarity. I wondered what Alia would do if I didn’t play her song. She had been playing the long waiting ga

I didn’t know who broke more, the wife who betrayed our marriage, the girl I thought was my sister but broke at my lowest or ...

The man who was blind to see either of their faces.."You want to break her, don’t you?"

She smiled. "Piece by piece, Raphael.." she chid, squeezing softly. Despite my ntal resistance my body was responding to her. Maybe it was the remnants of the drugs or just the ntal exhaustion..I was tired.

"I love you, Raphael, everything I do is because I can’t bear to see you being fooled by her. If I don’t do this, you might forgive her and continue to be her lap dog," she said, straddling while she slowly took in. Her dry tight walls were squeezing to death

She smiled through the pain until she forced in.. Taking my dignity from while I was fully awake. "I love you.." she chid rocking herself on my length

"I love you.."

"I love you.."

She continued screaming, crying and moaning as she rode . At a point, I drifted off to sleep, and exhaustion won over, but things changed completely that day.

I had to play along with Alia to protect everything..Honestly, I wondered if this would break Braelyn or if she would just pretend.

I needed to get the evidence she had in her hands. I didn’t know why, but everything felt so fishy and wrong.

Richard died that week. I didn’t have to investigate, Alia told herself. She killed him for revenge. She knew I didn’t have what it took to spill blood, so she did it herself...

That terrified ...

Not her obsession but the fact that if I didn’t find a way to break out of the obsession she would destroy everything without blinking an eye

So I looked straight into her eyes and told her. "I have been so blind never to have seen your devotion. I think I love you, Alia...."

She laughed with tears. "I know you will have realised soon once you saw her true colours..."
