"We understand.."

Dr. Choi, just before exiting, paused with his hand on the door handle. He turned back toward them, his expression more thoughtful. "Oh, one more thing. I had a conversation with Dr. Seo earlier today, and we’ve been working on a more tailored recovery plan for you, Haeun."

Haeun peeked out from under the sheets, still trying to process everything. "You’ve started it already?"

Dr. Choi nodded, stepping back into the room. "Yes. We’re going to coordinate closely on your care moving forward. Given your current health and the pregnancy, we need to make sure we’re managing both aspects carefully. Dr. Seo specializes in high-risk pregnancies, so he’ll be overseeing that part while I focus on your general recovery. If we can pull this through, this baby might just end your pheromone deficiency and you won’t have to worry during other pregnancies or this might be your first and last."

Yeongsoo’s posture straightened slightly, a hint of relief crossing his face. "That sounds... good. What exactly does this plan involve. And what do you an by "might be his first and last"?"

Dr. Choi glanced down at his chart again, flipping through a few pages. "It’s a combination of strict rest, regular check-ups, and closely monitored nutrition. We’re going to focus on strengthening your immune system while also keeping a close eye on the baby’s developnt. We’ll be looking at weekly visits initially, and if all goes well, we can scale that back. But for now, we’re playing it safe. If it goes as plan, after giving birth you should have absorbed just enough of your alpha’s pheromones to cure your deficiency but if it goes wrong sowhere this might be your last pregnancy."

Haeun felt a little overwheld —weekly visits, strict rest. He wasn’t used to being the one who needed constant care. Still, he nodded, knowing it was necessary.

"What about... the stress?" Haeun asked cautiously, glancing at Yeongsoo. "That’s been a factor too, right?"

Dr. Choi’s expression softened. "Yes, we’re factoring that in as well. Stress can have a major impact on both your health and the pregnancy. That’s why we’re emphasizing rest and stability. If anything feels off—physically or emotionally—you need to let us know right away."

Haeun shifted uncomfortably under the sheets. He wasn’t exactly used to sharing his feelings openly, but he understood the importance now. He would have to make the effort, no matter how much he disliked being vulnerable.

"I’ll keep that in mind," Haeun said, his voice low but determined.

"And of course," Dr. Choi added, "we’re going to make sure you’re not handling any of this alone. Mr. Cheon, you’re already doing a great job supporting him, but don’t hesitate to reach out to us if anything cos up."

Yeongsoo nodded firmly. "I will. I’ll keep a close eye on him."

Dr. Choi smiled briefly, satisfied with their understanding. "Great. Dr. Seo and I will finalize the details today, and we’ll go over the plan in more detail tomorrow. For now, focus on resting."

With that, he gave a final nod and exited the room, leaving Haeun and Yeongsoo alone once again. The room fell quiet as the weight of the conversation settled in.

Haeun sighed softly, sinking deeper into the pillows. "It’s a lot, isn’t it?"

"It’s okay.." Yeongsoo said placing a soft kiss on Haeun’s forehead "We’ll get through it. Do you want so fruits?"

In a dimly lit room, the soft glow of a computer screen illuminated the figure seated at the desk. Papers were scattered across the table, so neatly organized, others carelessly thrown aside. The figure’s fingers danced over the keyboard, clicking through files with a thodical precision.

On the screen, Haeun’s dical information flashed—his recent hospital admittance, the details of his condition, and the strict recovery plan Dr. Choi had discussed. The figure’s eyes scanned through it all, taking in every line, every detail.

The soft flicker of a smile tugged at the corner of the figure’s lips as they leaned back in their chair. But it wasn’t until another file opened on the screen, displaying the na "Suho," that the smile twisted into sothing more sinister.

"Ah..." the figure’s voice was low, almost a whisper as they skimd through the child’s records. "So, this is the boy..."

A chilling laugh echoed through the room, breaking the stillness like a crack in ice. It was cold, calculated, filled with a sinister satisfaction. The figure leaned closer to the screen, their eyes gleaming with malicious intent.

"I’ve finally found it," the figure muttered, their voice dripping with triumph. "Your weakness, Cheon Yeongsoo. And the weakness of your weakness..."

Another laugh, sharper this ti, cut through the room.

"There’s no way you’ll be able to escape my grasp now," the figure continued, their voice laced with dark amusent. "Not when I have everything you care about right in front of . It’s only a matter of ti..."

The figure leaned back in their chair, the shadows deepening around them as they reveled in their dark thoughts. A twisted smile crept across their face as they contemplated the future.

"Don’t worry, Yeongsoo," they said, their voice silky smooth, laced with mock sincerity. "I’m still a beta for now, but with these drugs..." They gestured dismissively at a small vial on the desk, its contents glimring ominously under the low light. "I’ll be able to transform into an oga before we et. And then..."

The figure’s eyes glinted with a dangerous mix of ambition and desire, their mind racing ahead to the inevitable confrontation. "You will break your bond with that nasty oga," they said, the words dripping with disdain, "and we will be together."

They stood, pacing slowly around the dim room, their thoughts swirling with the excitent of their plot. "Just like puppets on a string," they continued, their voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "I’ll gladly spread my legs and let you control , my dear master."

The figure chuckled, a sound devoid of any warmth. "I’ll be the perfect partner for you, soone who understands your desires and needs. Haeun won’t be able to compete with that."

They paused, looking out the window, lost in their fantasies of power and possession. The moonlight painted their silhouette against the wall, casting an eerie shadow that danced as they moved.

"Your weakness will be your downfall, Yeongsoo," they murmured, their tone turning dark once more. "And when the ti cos, you’ll realize that you were always ant to be with ."
