Chapter 98: Chapter 98: Death
Lucius, in his black praying mantis form, drifted in space, Rainbow was sitting on his head and Danger was flying on his own besides them. It had been a long ti since he’d separated from his family and he missed them everyday but in order to protect them, they had to separate.

|No Rainbow, I don’t know where we’re going, we’re just drifting in space I guess.|

|No can do, I told you already that I have this uncomfortable feeling that sothing bad is going to happen, what can’t you understand from that?|

|I’m not a loser, it’s just that...| Lucius didn’t finish speaking before he opened a portal that was emitting a blinding light and shoved his pets into it before closing it. He then shapeshifted back into his human appearance and looked around warily but there was nothing.
|Phew, it’s nothing. Did I just overreact or...wait a minute, there’s literally nothing here, no stars, no heavenly bodies, nothing!| said Lucius out loud.
What he was looking at wasn’t a Void Space because a Void Space is dark. What he was looking at was nothing, the absence of everything that was supposed to be in outer space. If Lucius way more powerful, he’d realise that there was a creature very close to him with its mouth wide open, ready to swallow him whole.

Lucius suddenly self detonated, creating an explosion that covered a radius of 2 pertapaserc, 7 quadrillion light years to be exact. Even space itself was affected by the explosion and a Chaotic Space was threatening to form where Lucius had self imploded but when he reappeared, everything cald down including the Spatial Laws.
(Amongst all the living creatures that exist, you’re definitely the most powerful of them all. No wonder those kids are so scared of you and were willing to give up everything just to destroy you, you’re a threat to them.) sounded a voice from everywhere, completely confusing Lucius about its source. A nigh omniscient was just that, nigh omniscient.
A blinding light appeared from above Lucius, it was so bright that it lit up the Dark Space, making it seem as though space itself experienced night and day and daylight had co. Lucius didn’t waste ti and just fled in the opposite direction of the light, unaware that he was falling straight into a trap because this light was nothing but bait used by the angler looking creature that Lucius couldn’t even see.
With one swift motion, Lucius was devoured whole by the creature and he felt like he’d been teleported to a completely different place. This place had nothing, not darkness, not light, no space, no ti, no life, no death, no air, no fire, no wind, no water, nothing! There was nothing. He tried to attack it but nothing worked. He was the Anomaly in this place, he was "Sothing".
All the Laws that Lucius had, both acquired and comprehended simply disappeared, along with his godly powers. Then, all his Innate Abilities disappears, then his emotions and feelings, followed by his mories and connections. Even the thread between him and Anya simply disappeared like it had never existed. Now, Lucius was completely empty inside, his face like that of a robot, completely devoid of anything, just blank.
What followed next was the disappearance of his hair and skin, then the muscles and blood, his internal organs and finally, his bones. Just like that, Lucius ceased to exist. He didn’t die, simply deleted, erased completely from Existence.

Rainbow and Danger found themselves in a completely different place where they felt themselves to be weak because their Laws were completely suppressed in this place.
[Where are we? How did we get here?] Danger asked.
[I don’t know how we got here but I think soone brought us here. Danger, I feel like I’ve forgotten sothing very important.] Rainbow spoke real words for the first ti as its eyes turned watery and a tear dropped from each eye, falling into the ground and killing the grass.

In the flying platform that Lucius had created, it simply disappeared, along with the two rings that he’d left behind. Anya, Yezi and Lolitron suddenly found themselves floating in space, extrely confused.
{No, no, no, no, no, no!!!} cried out Anya as if she’d gone crazy. Her inflated stomach shrank by half, Lolitron’s stomach also shrank by half and he didn’t know what was going on. Old Yezi and Sonia found the whole situation perplexing but they didn’t know what was going on. Anya then disappeared right in front of them. Once Anya disappeared, Blackened Heart also disappeared.
The Connection that Yezi had with his granddaughter was also gone, leaving him feeling like sothing was missing.
{ANYAAA!!! ANYA WHERE ARE YOU?! ANYAAA!!!} Yezi scread, his voice full of indescribable pain. Although in despair, Yezi thought of an explanation, a reason why all of this was happening.
{Marriage Ritual...It can only be the Marriage Ritual! But Anya wasn’t married or was she? Who’d impregnated her then? Sothing, sothing doesn’t add up!}

Yezi wasn’t the only one to feel that sothing was wrong, Lucius’s siblings and parents also felt that sothing was wrong, like a small piece of themselves was missing but they didn’t know what exactly it was that was missing. Everyone alive who’d interacted with Lucius also forgot about him, completely disappearing from their mories like he’d never even existed.

The reason why those close to Lucius felt that sothing was wrong, felt that sothing was missing was simply due to the way Lucius died. He didn’t die in a way that couldn’t leave traces, think of it like chatting with soone on social dia platforms then that person suddenly disappears and everything you know about them disappears but muscle mory and habits tell you a completely different story. They are telling you that there was sothing you were used to doing in these social dia platforms but you just don’t know what, hence the feeling of incompletion.
