Chapter 70: Chapter 70: I Win

"You were supposed to know about this when you co of age but I guess there’s no helping it. You see, in this world, there exist what the city people call Dungeons. Small pockets of space that carry armies of alien species who invade other worlds. As for the reason, we’re yet to get an answer. These Dungeons have to be cleared within a set ti limit and if not, the monsters will break out of the pocket space and invade the world. This is called a Dungeon Outbreak. But before you Awaken, you won’t be able to participate in the war with the Invaders."

"What do you an by Awaken?"

"Exactly what I said. When you turn eighteen, you’re gonna receive a Blessing from the world in the form of anything. It can be a Skill, Ability, Bloodline, Item, anything. After that, you’ll receive an Attribute Panel with your physical stats and the information about the Blessing you received. Until you turn eighteen, I would recomnd that you strengthen your body and increase your physical stats, maybe you’ll receive a Unique Blessing."

"What’s that?"

"A Unique Blessing is a Blessing that is unique to you, no one else has the sa blessing as you, that’s what it ans."

"So Blessings have rankings?"

"Enough with the questions, you’ll naturally learn about everything after you’ve Awakened, for now, focus on yourself. You’re only nine years old for crying out loud."

...

The moth and the Volcano Human Crab continued to clash, the human-crab then spat out a mouthful of bubbles from nowhere and when touched, they exploded.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The moth had touched all of them which had triggered a series of explosions. The moth stopped chasing after the human-crab but split itself into two moths. The flas covered the moth’s body then moved from its body and condenser into fireballs that chased after the human-crab once released.

BOOOM! BOOOM!

Two explosions occurred and the two moths beca one again. Inside the black flas, the human-crab monster was barely holding onto its life.

[I win.] said Tella.

[Not yet.] replied Geigei.

The moth then flew towards the human-crab monster to finally finish it off. The ashes sprinkled on the moth, continually burning it but it didn’t die. The moth was infuriated, grabbed the human-crab monster with its long tongue and devoured it in one bite. Its internal system was hotter than its flas so the wounded human-crab monster would be digested in a few seconds.

[I win.] said Geigei.

[No you didn’t, I wo...] before Tella could finish speaking, she felt that sothing was wrong with her Model. Her connection with it was weakening then it snapped. The moth then underwent a transformation, its insect legs turned into eight crab legs that were extrely pointy, its thorax slightly rose in the air as two pincers grew on its sides.

A human torso then appeared on its head like a parasite that had captured the moth as its host and controlled its every move.

[What did you do?! How did you win? I’ll double the money I promised you if you tell .] said Tella.

[Transfer the money first then I’ll tell you how I did it.]

[Great. It’s done. Now tell .]

[To answer your question, let

ask you this, why did you accept my challenge or rather, what attracted you to accept my challenge?]

[Why did I accept your challenge? You posted that after ten moves, your Models are invincible and I was curious about your Models.] answered Tella.

’I can’t tell you that I’m a rookie crusher, right?’ she thought.

[That’s my answer to you.] said Geigei.

[Ten moves...] she softly muttered while Geigei stood up to leave.

[Wait, can I at least buy back my moth? Na your price and I’ll pay.]

[No.] said Geigei without even considering it.

[I don’t believe I can’t buy back a re corpse! Ten thousand Deity Coins, Fifty Thousand, One Hundred Thousand, Five Hundred Thousand... One Million Deity Coins, that’s my final offer.] said Tella, causing Geigei to stop walking. He then turned around and looked at her.

[Not for sale.] he said coldly before leaving the place.

...

[There are things that money can’t buy and there are things worth more than money. These corpses count for both. Tell , is there soone who sells Model corpses at a low price?]

[The cheaper will do.]

...

[Vasto, doesn’t it feel like sothing is off?] asked a golden knight.

[What do you an?] asked Vasto.

[This place... is a little bit too quiet. Last ti I ca here, there was at least the sounds made by the poisonous insects but now there’s nothing.]

[Maybe it’s because of the rain. Seli, have you found a camping spot or not? Being in the rain for too long isn’t beneficial to our n.]

[Be patient, I’m almost done scouting the place, we can camp here if there’s no danger.]

[Prepare the tents, this is our camping spot!]

[Yes Sir!]

After a month of travelling, the human army led by ten golden knights and a hundred silver knights and one thousand bronze knights finally reached their destination. They’d arrived here a couple of hours ago and were looking for the perfect camping spot.

The soldiers quickly set up the tents and silver soldiers began to patrol the camp site, guarding against anything suspicious. Usually, bronze knights were responsible for camp patrols but because the enemy was unknown and mysterious.

When nightti ca, the knights changed shifts and were very diligent in their patrols, checking even the smallest detail.

Flap~

Flap~

Flap~

Extrely faint flapping sounds were captured by the knights.

"Did you hear that?!"

"Yeah, it’s probably the bats, I an, we are in a forest aren’t we so creatures of the night aren’t a surprise at all."

"You’re right, I’m probably overly cautious."

The two knights continued with their night patrol, not knowing that what they thought were bats were actually far more scary looking than bats. These scary little monsters didn’t do anything except to observe from a distance. When dawn was approaching, they silently flew away without alerting anyone.

Bang!

One of these creatures was hit with a rock and died without even knowing it.

"Yes! Did you hear that, I definitely hit one so pay up."

"Your eyes are very sharp, hitting a bat in total darkness, amazing."

...

The other bats flew for a long ti, their area of flight becoming more and more foggy until they reached what seed to be a small opening of a cave and entered it. After entering this small entrance, they flew downwards for a long ti until they were stopped by a colos monster that resembled them. These monsters all had elongated heads without eyes, ears or nostrils.

Screech! Screech! Screech!

The flying monsters stood on cave walls and screeched, probably a ans of communication. After that, they were allowed to fly deeper into the cave but they were stopped again and they screeched in response. They were stopped three three tis before reaching the deepest parts of the cave where an absolute monster was standing guard, a crocodilian monster thirty five ters long. The Bearmorphs screeched a few tis before flying off.

The Crocmorph then walked into a very spacious cavern with many eggs around and six passages to travel from. At the centre of this cavern was another big monster with a long eggsack connected to its body. There were other Xenomorphs that took care of the eggs and others took care of their Queen, Armin. The Crocmorph bellowed a few tis before walking away towards the passage it ca from.

[It’s safe to assu that they’ve co for . With their nurous occupations, it’s not surprising that soone with clairvoyance discovered . Ten Lvl fifties, a hundred Lvl thirties and a thousand Lvl ten and above. Quite a powerful army, if it was

in the past then I would have ran away but now... they unfortunately ca too late. With their numbers, my army will significantly grow and I can finally conquer everything here and have a base.] said Armin to herself.

ROOOAAARRR!!!

The voice shook the entire cave that was hundreds of ters deep underground.

[New hosts have arrived in the Foggy Mountains, I want them brought back alive and I don’t want any traces, do it fast and perfect and hide your traces afterwards. One thousand five hundred Drones and Scouts, two hundred Soldiers and twenty Crushers, move out and get

those egg carriers!] Armin sent a telepathic ssage that all her children received and quickly organised themselves into an army and moved out.

[You also follow them just in case any surprises arise.]
