675 Fifth Island Lord
Heart Realm territory.
Xu Jingming, draped in a flowing robe, gazed toward the four imposing marks. My senses are heightened in the Heart Realm, but the distance is too far for to directly access. I can’t reach it, being relatively weak at the mont.
He attempted to descend onto the mark, but it proved to be beyond his limits.
I’ll descend elsewhere first.
Xu Jingming selected his maximum range, and with a single thought, the power of his Heart Realm converged at that point.
…
In the chaos of the Heart Realm, Heart Realm Force condensed into Xu Jingming.
For Heart Realm high-dinsional lifeforms, each of their clones was a true manifestation of themselves, making them nearly impossible to kill. However, having multiple clones put a significant strain on the mind and consciousness.
Despite having multiple clones, it didn’t significantly increase his strength as they all shared the sa mind and consciousness.
For example, using the Intent Samsara World with all his power put a heavy burden on his consciousness, and no matter how many clones he had, he could only maintain two perfect Intent Samsara Worlds.
What limits the Heart Realm’s strength isn’t the number of clones but the strength of the mind and consciousness. Xu Jingming knew this very well.
Heart Realm teleportation!
Xu Jingming sensed Myriad Star Island’s location from afar and teleported himself to the corresponding Heart Realm area.
Heart Realm teleportation didn’t encounter much obstruction and could be done over great distances.
If Xu Jingming were in normal high-dinsional space, be it through long-distance descent or teleportation, the distance would be much shorter.
Whoosh.
After locking onto his target, Xu Jingming only took a step. One step was all it took for him to arrive at his destination.
It’s quite tiring. It’s very easy to descend over great distances, but just one teleportation from the Heart Realm… is a little tiring. As a rookie, Xu Jingming was familiar with these common ans.
That’s right. Long-distance descents are about condensing another clone far away. As for Heart Realm teleportation, it allows one to travel from one place to another. This travel becos a huge burden with distance. Xu Jingming nodded slightly.
In his Heart Realm, Xu Jingming also observed the high-dinsional space outside.
Ordinary high-dinsional space had many levels. For example, the Heart Realm and Mother Stream levels.
From the Heart Realm, Xu Jingming watched Myriad Star Island in the high-dinsional space, noticing that it was a large island hiding nurous dangers. Even he couldn’t see the interior clearly.
Whoosh.
Jingming took one step and was now standing outside Myriad Star Island.
On Myriad Star Island.
“Jingming has arrived,” Dean Chu announced, his piercing gaze fixated on the distant figure of Xu Jingming as he erged outside Myriad Star Island.
“Let’s go and welco Myriad Star Island’s fifth Island Lord,” a rough and rugged middle-aged man said with a smile, dressed in simple attire.
“The Heart Realm lineage is truly remarkable,” Spaceti Island Lord added with a grin. “No matter how far away they may be, they’re always just a few steps away within the sa dominion.”
“Let’s head over.”
“Let’s go,” Redmond said as he quickly followed Dean Chu’s lead.
…
Xu Jingming stood in the void, gazing at the Myriad Star Island before him. The sight was breathtaking, but it was also infinitely dangerous.
The high-dinsional space was enveloped in endless mist, and the spaceti there was strange and distorted, making it difficult to move without enough strength.
Countless dangers lurk in high-dinsional space, Xu Jingming thought to himself. There’s danger from the environnt and other high-dinsional lifeforms, and even unknown disasters.
The three human Paramounts put a lot of effort into building this island.
Just then, four figures appeared before Xu Jingming as starlight parted.
“Jingming.” The thin Dean Chu greeted him with a bright laugh.
“Jingming, your speed of becoming a high-dinsional life form is shocking,” remarked Redmond with a bright smile. “You did it in just 3,900 years.”
“We have prepared a celebration banquet for you,” the plainly dressed Eternal Tower Master said excitedly.
The only woman, Spaceti Island Lord, stood quietly, smiling at the scene before her.
Xu Jingming walked over to the group, greeting each one. “Dean, Tower Master, Island Lord, Senior Brother Redmond.”
The five high-dinsional life forms then walked into the island together, surrounded by the starlight.
Redmond explained, “When I beca a high-dinsional life form, I didn’t have the ability to travel long distances in high-dinsional space. It was Island Lord who personally brought here through the Mother Stream. But you, Junior Brother, ca on your own.”
Spaceti Island Lord added, “This mode of travel is unique to the Heart Realm lineage.”
“In high-dinsional space, there are two main systems: the Primordial Star and the Abyss systems. There’s also the Spaceti and the Psych systems,” said Eternal Tower Master with a smile. “Very few people in the Spaceti system can enter the Mother Stream, and similarly, very few in the Psych system can enter the Heart Realm.”
“I only entered the Mother Stream after reaching the Eternal Realm,” Spaceti Island Lord said. “But Wu Ming grasped Heart Realm Force from the beginning and can travel through the Heart Realm at the Firstborn realm.”
“It’s just luck,” Xu Jingming said with a smile. “Being corrupted by high-dinsional powers was originally a disaster, but I happened to grasp the power of the third realm.”
As they walked and talked, they crossed vast swaths of land with every step.
Myriad Star Island was incredibly vast. Xu Jingming saw mutated beasts pruning high-dinsional fruit trees in the distance and a huge Heavenly Python swimming in the lake.
“That’s the Heavenly Python?” Xu Jingming asked in surprise. “Isn’t it said that it was killed?”
“Haha, that was another Heavenly Python,” Eternal Tower Master explained with a smile. “These rely on our Myriad Star Island, and they’re a little different in appearance.”
Dean Chu added, “There are 79 natural high-dinsional life forms on the island. Natural high-dinsional life forms may not be as rare as you think. High-dinsional space is infinite, after all.”
“These life forms are born with high-dinsional bodies, but their minds and knowledge are far inferior to ours,” Dean Chu explained.
Xu Jingming nodded.
The journey from the low-dinsional world to the high-dinsional one was treacherous. One had to forge their own high-dinsional body from scratch.
And for the natural high-dinsional life forms? They were born with nothing, their minds and knowledge lagging behind others.
“Only one out of ten low-dinsional beings like us can make it to the Eternal realm from the Firstborn realm,” Dean Chu said.
“And for the natural high-dinsional life forms, their success rate is even lower, less than one percent,” Dean Chu added. “High-dinsional space is a dangerous place. If they try to go it alone, they won’t last long. They’ll be hunted, dissected, and stripped of all valuable materials, used to create weapons or sacrificed to the abyss.”
Xu Jingming sighed inwardly.
The danger was real.
“That’s why they have to join a powerful faction,” Dean Chu continued. “There are only four half-step third-realm experts in this dominion, and the requirents to join them are stringent. Many natural high-dinsional life forms find it difficult to reach them. Our Myriad Star Island is considered famous and attracts so high-dinsional life forms to join us.”
Eternal Tower Master added, “They can help us in many ways, like nurturing high-dinsional plants and flowers, being research assistants, and even providing their scales, fur, and blood for the betternt of the human race.”
Xu Jingming was enlightened.
…
Myriad Star Island Lord Hall.
A grand banquet was in full swing. Dean Chu, Eternal Tower Master, Spaceti Island Lord, Redmond, and Xu Jingming sat at the head of the table, with 79 natural high-dinsional lifeforms below them.
These lifeforms, each with their unique appearance, had shrunk to normal size and sat respectfully.
“Congratulations to Myriad Star Island for having the fifth Island Lord, Lord Wu Ming. My band shall dedicate a song to all of you.” A volcano-like lifeform bowed respectfully and waved his hand as a boat flew out.
The boat appeared in the middle of the hall, and there were musicians on it. The musicians, who were in high-dinsional space, couldn’t see the high-dinsional lifeforms around them.
“You may perform,” the volcano lifeform spoke directly into their minds.
“Yes, great God King.” These musicians imdiately began to perform diligently.
The musicians, well aware of the importance of their performance, began playing.
We were chosen by the God King among many gods. If we ss up, we’ll die, and our civilization will be erased, they thought to themselves.
Xu Jingming listened to the music at the head of the hall.
The music could affect the mind; it entranced Xu Jingming.
“This is actually played by Origin lifeforms.” He turned to Redmond, “Senior Brother, where do these Origin lifeforms co from?”
“These natural high-dinsional lifeforms buy pocket universes or miniature universes and throw in low-dinsional species for them to survive and reproduce. The environnt in these pocket universes isn’t always the best, but the species that survive go on to live and reproduce.”
“Therefore, these natural high-dinsional lifeforms usually raise so low-dinsional races. They will even send their clones and consciousness to the low-dinsional races. This brings them so entertainnt,” Redmond said. “After all, it’s too dangerous in high-dinsional space, and survival is a daunting task. Only when dealing with low-dinsional races… can they satisfy their various desires.”
Xu Jingming understood.
The performance ended, and Xu Jingming praised, “Not bad.”
The volcano lifeform bead with pride. “It’s their greatest honor that you liked it, Island Lord.”
The natural high-dinsional lifeforms knew that human high-dinsional lifeforms held the highest status on Myriad Star Island.
…
In the pocket universe, Pantheon.
At the head of the table sat the God King, surrounded by the God Queen and a God Consort.
There were more than 30,000 gods seated—they were all the Origin lifeforms of the many civilizations in the pocket universe! As long as they beca Origin lifeforms, they were qualified to have a spot in the Pantheon.
“The performance is over.” The God King sat on his throne and looked at the 19 musicians.
The 19 musicians trembled in fear.
They were Origin lifeforms and gods in the Pantheon, but the God King was supre! Any wrong move, any sign of incurring his wrath, and they would be gone, along with their civilizations.
“My friends are very satisfied,” the God King said with a smile.
The 19 musicians breathed a sigh of relief.
“Your Majesty, were there many great existences this ti?” the God Queen asked curiously.
“Of course. There are so who are stronger than . I’m only average,” the God King said with a smile. “Therefore, it’s the greatest honor of your lives to be lucky enough to perform.”
The 19 musicians were rather excited and delighted.

As the banquet went on, Xu Jingming’s horizons were broadened by the various performances put on by the high-dinsional lifeforms.
“They may not be the strongest, but they’re impressive in their indulgences,” Redmond said with a smile after the banquet ended. “They often interact with each other and make comparisons.”
Xu Jingming nodded.
The five of them arrived at a small hall.
“This is the information our human race has on high-dinsional space. Take a look.” Dean Chu handed a golden piece of paper to Xu Jingming.
After Xu Jingming took it, a large amount of information filled his mind.
In just three seconds, he received all the information. Xu Jingming had a clearer understanding of high-dinsional space.
“It’s ti to get down to business,” declared Dean Chu as he gathered the five high-dinsional lifeforms of the human race. “We have to give it our all in the face of this calamity.”
Eternal Tower Master, Spaceti Island Lord, Redmond, and Xu Jingming nodded solemnly.
