Going through all the people present, apart from his own group comprising of fourteen people, Drake recognized Simon who was standing with two others, Richard was with both his deputies and two others from the Empyreans. Then there were three others.
All in all, there were Twenty-five students.
Drake felt the looks of hostility coming from Richard’s group.
He caught sight of Edward among them who was glaring daggers at him.
Edward wanted nothing more than to charge at Drake right now, but he couldn’t. As not only would Bridge restrain him, Richard was also standing right there.
Drake however had no scruples he directly raised his hand and waved at them Heya everybody fine morning isn’t It. he greeted them like they were all old friends.
Edward grunted and said, You’re not welco here, you trash.
Drake imdiately stopped like he was surprised. He squinted his eyes looking closely at Edward. His face was stern like he was about to say sothing serious. Then he nodded slowly.
Edward also suddenly started feeling a bit self conscious, but he didn’t want to check what it was that was making Drake look at him like that or that would be a sign of weakness, so he sneered, What are you looking at Trash?
Drake said, I was just wondering.
Edward glared at him and asked. What?
Does your face hurt? said Drake slowly.
Of course not. Edward snorted.
Ah, alright then. Just forget about it. Drake nodded then turned away.
Edward fell silent as his brain still had not kicked in yet. But then everybody started laughing while looking at him. The worst part was that even his own teammates were looking at him weirdly, and he could see that they were restraining themselves from bursting into laughter.
It was only now that Drake’s question registered in his head and he rembered that he had been slapped in the face last night and his face turned green from rage.
He roared, Drake you bastard! and tried to charge forward to duke it out with him. But Bridge and his other teammate held him back.
Richard was getting irritated with the noise so he turned to Edward. Be quiet. Richard said.
When Edward saw the displeasure on Richards face he imdiately shut up. But he was still bristling inside.
Richard threw a look over in Drake’s direction then turned away. Drake caught that and thought.
’They had better not provoke if they know what’s good for themselves. Or they can’t bla for being impolite.’
Drake briefly scanned through all of the other students, and he was quite surprised to see that apart from himself and Simon, all the rest were either 3 Star mages or much stronger 2 Star mages, this made him wonder.
Now he was even more curious what they were here for.

Edward and Bridge were fuming in dissatisfaction at the sight of Drake and his group.
Edward asked through clenched teeth. Why is he here? Shouldn’t this be a special convening order?
Maybe he also received the notification. one of the other two mbers of the Empyreans offered.
But Edward Barked, Bullshit, why would he be so late if he did?
Bridge also said with squinted eyes. Just look at all of them standing with the mbers of the Celestial Garden. They should be paying their respects to the Empyreans. Don’t they know that The Empyreans are the masters in our grade? This is definitely them planning to rebel.

Leah’s eyes glinted and a smirk ford at the corner of her lips as she said, Even Miss Sophia now has eyes for him. Are you sure you are okay with that?
Miss Sophia probably is just there to chat with the other girls, she is naturally allowed to do so and just because she is kind enough to offer him a greeting doesn’t an there is anything between them.
I don’t think so. I heard that last night she offered to join his harem if he was strong enough to take her. Leah added.
Richard still kept his stoic expression as though nothing could shake him as he responded. Rumors, it’s all they are. Even if she did say that, there is no way that Miss Sophia ant it. It was probably just a joke. And like you said Miss Sophia will only settle for a strong man.

Leah chuckled softly. She knew that even though Richard had said that while still maintaining his poker face, she was sure that she had struck a nerve.
Richard was really irritated by what Leah had just reminded him of. He had known Sophia forever. They had practically grown up together, and he has been pursuing her for two years. He knew Sophia was a proud strong rebellious girl by nature. So he wanted to conquer her heart and make her submit to him on her own accord.
Yet, in all this ti he had made not the slightest bit of progress. If anything it seems the more he tries the more he widens the gap between them. He thought it was just a ti thing, but now so new guy she doesn’t know anything about pops out of nowhere and she is all over him.

They had all been waiting and at so point, the tir on the clock had gotten to exactly 8 am.
Once the ti was reached, there were sounds from the hallway that led upstairs and a few people ca into view. Everybody’s faces changed when they saw the one leading the way.
He was a large man that wore a set of fitting Battle armor that he seed to never take off, standing about seven feet tall with brown hair. There was a scar from so kind of beast’s claw running from his left eye down his cheek. He wore a fierce look on his face as he stepped up to the center of the room.
Everybody recognized who this man was at first glance.
They had seen him just the day before yesterday before they had begun their survival training. He was the once prodigy of Alpha Academy that had joined the military.
The Desert lion, Commander Seth!
Drake was also caught by surprise when he saw Commander Seth heading towards them. But he was not the only person, there were three others following closely behind him.
Directly behind him was a man dressed similarly in a fitting Battle armor only missing the military weapon equipnt. Each one of his asured steps were stable as though nothing he did wasn’t calculated.
He looked like if a disaster were to hit at anyti anywhere, he would be ready to go in a heartbeat.
Directly after him was soone that Drake recognized from the party last night. He was one of the top three students of the Master class, Beast Monarch Logan. He was even taller than Commander Seth, and was wearing his sleeveless fur jacket and wore a stern expression.
Behind him was a female. Drake did not know how to describe the girl or rather, the lady. Her brows were black like they were drawn on. Her eyes were like glittering stars and deep as the ocean. That face seed to have a look that was icy cold showing an intense indifference to the world.
Her flawless skin exuded a majestic and impressive beauty. She was dressed in complete white dress and it was like comparing her beauty to other people was an insult to her.
Her figure was slender and exquisite as she could make soone go crazy. As she walked, her long black hair swayed around beside her ears. Making one feel like he was stuck in a dream.
Everyone imdiately recognized them, including Drake. These were two of the top three students of the Master class.
They were the two Monarchs, The Frost Maiden; Lady Snow and The Beast Lord; Logan. The two of them followed closely behind Commander Seth stopping in the center of the room.
Commander Seth ordered, Line up!
This imdiately caused all the students to snap out of their reverie. They hastily lined up side by side.
Commander Seth looked over them with his fierce gaze and the students almost couldn’t breathe when they felt the pressure behind that gaze.
Do you know why you received the notification to convene here on your free day? Commander Seth asked.
The students of the Elentary class all shouted, No sir!
Drake was surprised that these guys were actually treating this like a military drill or inspection.
You group of misfits are here because after observation of all the students of the Elentary class. You have been selected to represent Alpha Academy and participate in the Grand mage tournant that is coming up in three months.
Their eyes widened at the announcent and several of them had excitent flare up in their eyes. They hadn’t expected that this would be the reason why they were summoned.
So of them had speculated that this would be what it was about after seeing Commander Seth and the big three. But the confirmation was still surprising.
Seth continued. This is an honor for all of you. And while so of you will only serve as reserves, starting today all of you will begin undergoing special training to get you in shape for the Tournant.
Excuse sir! a student raised his hand.

Seth nodded and Bridge spoke, Sir, mister Commander Sir. With all due respect sir, but we the students have already made our own selection based on the strength of the strength of the students of the Elentary mage class of candidates that should be participants in the Grand mage tournant sir. That sharp gaze made them feel like they were standing on pins and needles.
Seth continued. Starting today all of you will train as if your lives depend on it, and these upperclassn along with myself will be your trainers in this ti. And you will also attend all your classes so don’t even think about skipping classes.
The students were a bit bumd that they had to attend class but when they rembered that they would be participants in the Grand mage tournant they felt their hearts heat up in excitent.
Seth sneered. Do you think this is exciting? Do you want to go and brag about this to your friends about how you are now part of the participants that will be representing the academy? Take those looks off your faces.
