The wind sphere shot forth with no hesitation, only taking the ti it would take
to blink to reach him. There was no ti to react, Drake was too close so he could
not even dodge, he could only raise his sword to defend against the attack.
The mont the wind sphere hit him, it detonated. It was like a small bomb had
gone off and the powerful impact sent Drake flying several tens of ters into the
midst of the other weaker Wind wolves. He crashed into a large tree and its stem
broke apart an the tree fell.
One strike and you’re out! Drake disappeared.
Peter and Paul were startled by the sudden attack by the Alpha Wolf. They only
had ti to cry out before the Wind sphere detonated.
The Alpha Wolf heard the cries of the twins and turned baring its fangs at them.
"Hey dog breath!" Peter shouted, "Co get so."
Right at this mont the twins were only thinking one thing. ’We need to distract
it so boss can recover.’
They believed his Triple layer defense should have kept him alive, but he couldn’t
take another attack from the Alpha wolf right now.
So they needed to distract it and buy ti for Drake to recover.
The Alpha Wolf was enraged by the insult, with a furious snarl, suddenly it
charged quickly pouncing at Peter’s position...
Its instantaneous explosive power and speed shocked the twins, this The Alpha
Wolf didn’t need a buildup,
jumping almost 10 ters from a stand still,
descending on him from right on top of him, a great feeling of pressure making
him unable to breath for an instant.
This kind of explosive power and mobility...
"it’s movents speed, is at least several tis that of a Grade 2 Wind wolf’s! "
Peter and Paul had always shown disdain when they faced up against anybody
with fast movent speed, because with their teleportation ability no one could
match up to their own movent and mobility in the sa level.
Against the pounce of the Alpha Wolf, almost at the sa ti, Peter heavily
kicked the ground, rapidly jumping backwards. The Alpha Wolf accompanied by a
howling wind fell onto his previous position. Bringing up the sand on the ground.
It had pounced from such a long distance, yet the Alpha Wolf only stopped for a
mont after landing on the ground, then suddenly turning around, once more
pouncing in Peter’s direction.
It was chasing after him as if it had so kind of personal vendetta to settle with
him.
"Fuck ! This thing got terrifying maneuverability."
Peter once again shocked, he didn’t have more ti to think, his body already
making a lightning quick reaction, with his left leg as a pivot swiftly turning his
body, at the sa ti lowering his body.
"WHOOSH..."
A sharp gust of wind swept across his face, making his face sting. gritting his
teeth, when the Alpha Wolf passed by his body, his novice sword quickly struck,
landing 3 quick attacks on its body.
Three long gashes were instantly opened on its side. The Alpha Wolf howled
madly, the injury only seed to further enrage it even more.
Upon seeing that he had actually managed to hurt it Peter’s eyes brightened.
However, right when he was about to attack again, he felt a sudden
sense of danger, the next second the Alpha wolf’s tail appeared, his fast reflexes
allowed him to hastily raise his sword to his chest and the sweeping tail slamd
into it sending him flying.
Peter hastily teleported away. The instant he appeared he rolled on the ground
then hastily rose to his feet. Blood leaked from his lips. That last attack had
shaken up his inner organs badly.
He was in no condition to keep fighting, right now he felt like his bones were
falling apart and his chest muscles were torn. Unfortunately for him the Alpha
Wolf quickly found him this ti.
Paul saw that Peter was in trouble and hastily kicked a rock and it flew at the
giant Alpha Wolf. "Hey, why don’t you pick on sobody your own size!" he yelled
trying to draw the Alpha’s attention away from his twin brother.
It worked. The Alpha Wolf turned to Paul and opened it jaws. A two foot wide wind
sphere instantly ford and shot at Paul’s position.
"Shit!" he wanted to dodge but his body wouldn’t move. ’This attack has a lock on
ability. It’s no wonder boss couldn’t avoid it.’
Paul was only 10 ters away from the large wolf. He knew just how powerful this
attack was. Drake had only taken one and he was still out of commission, so he
didn’t dare to tarry. There was one thing that it could not lock, that was the
power of space.
Paul activated his ability and hastily teleported out of the way.
WHOOSH!
BOOM!!!
The Wind sphere crashed into the ground and exploded giving rise to a terrifying
gale. This was caused by the compressed wind energy in that wind sphere.
After firing the Wind sphere at Paul the Alpha Wolf was sure the human was dead
and turned its attention back to Peter.
By now Peter had finally gotten to his feet, with a terrifying howl, It pounced.
Damn it! and my big mouth, this thing must have taken it personal."

"OW!"
Drake had finally recovered, "That attack was scary! Its lock left with no room
to evade. If I hadn’t used the ’Eye of Orders’ disperse ability in the last second, I
wouldn’t have been able to raise my sword to defend then it would have been a
direct hit. Who knows whether I could have survived that!"
He hadn’t expected that the wind wolf would have learned such a powerful long
rang attack ability.
Even with his Triple layer armor, he was badly injured. Another Mage would have
probably died from that attack.
"Oww! Goddamnit, dodn’t this dog know anything about holding back?" Drake
flinched every ti he moved a muscle. He felt like several, if not all his bones
were broken.
’Heal!’
With a thought Healing attribute magic energy from the Virgo constellation flowed
into his body and quickly began to heal the daMage to his Flesh muscles internal
organs and bones. After a few seconds, he was finally capable of movent, so he
quickly got up to his feet.
He had only just stood up when he saw the twins in confrontation with the Alpha
wolf, just then he saw as the Alpha wolf shot the sa attack it had just used to
put him out of commission the ’Wind sphere’ at Paul.
Crap!
But then when he saw Paul teleport away to safety, he heaved a sigh of relief.
’These two control space power, that is one of the hardest affinity’s to counter.
The Alpha wolf’s lock can immobilize anything weaker than itself, but at this
level, it is impossible for it to lock down space.’ he thought.
Just then he saw Peter looking all dirty and beaten up, getting up from the
ground. He didn’t need an expert to tell him that the kid was badly injured.
He exclaid, "What the hell happened to him? Don’t tell he tried fighting the
Alpha wolf head on!"
Suddenly, he watched the Alpha wolf turn it attention to Peter. His face instantly
paled and he charged into the battlefield, not caring about waiting for his injuries
to be fully healed.
The next second the Alpha wolf pounced.
Paul shouted frantically, "Peter move! Get out of there."
Drake also roared, "Teleport now!"
...
Peter wanted to teleport the mont he saw the Alpha wolf turning to him. The
problem was his inner organs had been jolted, and his magic energy was
currently in disorder and wasn’t listening to him.
It would take him a second to reorient and stablize his magic energy, but the
damned Alpha wolf wasn’t giving him ti, before It charged at him.
Suddenly, he heard Paul and Drake’s voice calling out to him. He couldn’t help
but smile wryly. ’I do want to move, but my legs aren’t listening. And my magic
power isn’t working properly.’
He raised his head to the Alpha wolf that had already closed the distance between
them. There was no fear in his eyes he just clenched his teeth and squeezed the
sword in his hand. ’I only need to resist at least one attack before Paul and the
boss get here. By then my magic power should be back on, then I can teleport.’
...
"NOO!!!"
Paul teleported beside Peter. All he needed to do was shove him out of the way so
that they could dodge the Alpha wolf’s pounce. The problem was that closing the
re three feet distance between them seed almost impossible to accomplish
before the Alpha wolf slamd into them.
’Damn it! I can’t make it in ti.’ Paul was frantic, ’The Alpha wolf is moving too
fast, no I’m moving too slow.’
At this ti he was really wishing that what Drake had told him earlier about
possessing Ti power was true, ’Co on Paul move. Faster! Faster!’ for every
ti he called out for himself to move faster he was also subconsciously wishing
for the Alpha wolf to move a bit slower.
’All I need to do is move just a bit faster.’ Unknown to Paul at this mont his
magic power started to react differently to how it usually did, and transparent
ripples started to emanate from his body.
