Drake who was in a good mood after learning the ’Radiant Moon Sword’ was

leisurely moving through the forest towards the twins.

He was in no rush since he had seen how easily they were killing the Wind Wolves

when suddenly.

Aowuuuu!

The sound of that terrifying howl resounded through the night.

’That howl, that doesn’t sound anything like the Wind Wolves I fought against.’ He

frowned then turned to where the sound had co from. ’IT sounded like it ca

from the twins direction. But it also sounded like it was farther.’

With a thought stars suddenly appeared swirling in his eyes.

’Eye of Order!’

His vision went past the twins and zoned in on a small hill about ten kiloters

away from their current location.

There were more than a thousand Wind Wolves around that hill, so of them

bigger than the other’s. Obviously the smaller Wolves were Grade 1 beasts while

the bigger ones were the Grade 2 beasts.

There were many tis more Grade 1 beasts than Grade 2 beasts.

’There are so few Grade 2 Wind wolves there. It’s probably because most of them

either ran into or were part of the reinforcents that got entangled with the

twins.’ Drake understood and ca to this conjecture.

Suddenly, the pack of Wolves separated and from the middle of them, another

Grey Wind Wolf erged. From its size you could easily tell that it was different

from the other Wind Wolves.

Drake instantly knew what he was looking at. He guessed with certainty his face

solemn.

"Alpha Wolf!"

Six other wolves only slightly smaller than it, but much larger than all the rest

also stepped out behind it.

These were its generals! They were Wind Wolves at the peak of Grade 2.

The Alpha raised it’s head to the sky and a terrifying imposing howl resounded

through the forest, the Wind carried the suppressive prestige for miles.

When the Alpha howled its generals also did the sa.

The next mont all the Wind Wolves that had been surrounding it started rush

down from the hill, heading towards Drake’s position. Their path would lead them

through where the twins were first before they would get to Drake.

Drake’s face paled, ’With how many Wind Wolves that are descending, even if they

don’t actively head in towards the twins they would still run into them.’

There were so many Wolves that they covered almost an entire mile. ’This isn’t

good! With the speed the Wind Wolves are moving at they can probably cover the

ten kiloters in just 5 minutes.’

’Those two have to get out of there now or they’re screwed.’ He thought.

Unfortunately he could not contact them and warn them of the impending crisis.

The mont they stepped foot in the Fallen city all communication on their sky

links were blocked.

This left him helpless, but he believed that the twins were definitely smart

enough to know that that howl ant that they needed to run otherwise things

would get ugly.

He turned his vision back to the twins and as he had hoped, he found them

trying to break out of the encirclent of Wind Wolves.

He was sure that they had also sensed the incoming danger. However, it also

looked like the Wind Wolves learnt their plans and were now doing everything in

their ability to force the twins to remain there.

They were not giving them any room to teleport.

When he saw how the Wind wolves were willing to sacrifice their lives to keep the

twins pinned he felt a chill in his spine.

’I need to get there fast!’ He hastily raised his speed to its max.

...

At this mont Peter and Paul were feeling stifled. They wee anxiously trying to

get out of this encirclent, but the Wind wolves were persistent in keeping them

there. Even going as far as using blood dripping tactics.

They were sacrificing their lives, just to make sure the both of them could not get

away.

Even though they could kill the Wind Wolves easily thanks to their special space

energy swords, it was still terrifying to face up against a magical beast that was

risking its life against you.

When one was willing to risk their life without fear of injury or death they could

bring forth their maximum strength. In that situation they would be truly scary.

Now imagine facing up against a pack of Wolves that were all fearlessly charging

at you with no care for their lives. They could never be fiercer than that.

The twins were trying their best to break out, but they couldn’t.

As 2 star Mages they could only teleport up to 10 ters in one jump and every

ti they teleported, space would be disturbed. Because of that, they could not

imdiately teleport again the instant the ca out of the jump.

They needed to either get to another place with calm space or wait for the space

around them to calm down.

This delay ti was not sothing that could be taken advantage of since the

opening was too short. But in a situation where they were completely surrounded

by mad Wolves this little delay was more than enough for the Wind wolves to take

advantage of to surround and attack them.

"Peter, I can’t break out of this siege!" Paul shouted as he tried to shake off a

Wind Wolf that was clamping down on his short sword, while punching away

another Wind Wolf that tried to bite at his throat from behind.

"Just keep trying! We can’t let the Alpha Wolf reach here before we leave. Teleport

the instant you get the chance." Peter roared as he spun through the air slashing

left and right at the Wind Wolves.

"I’m trying, but these damned dogs won’t give any ti to jump." Paul spun

slashing the head off the Wind Wolf along with two other wolves that had jumped

at him.

With the small opening he disappeared from his position four more wolves filled

that space the next instant.

Paul appeared ten ters away. However, before he could even catch his breath

several other Wolves that were closest to him imdiately pounced at him.

"Damn it! there’s too many of these things. It’s like I kill one and three are there

the next instant to take its place. They won’t even let catch my breath."

"Just keep swinging, we’re almost out!" Peter called out.

He was also facing the sa treatnt from the Wind Wolves. He was crying on

the inside himself, wondering who he should complain to.

He was also in the sa dire straits as his brother. Yet, not only did he have to

force his way through these crazy Wolves, but he also had to comfort and

encourage his twin at the sa ti.

Finally cleared out so space around them and were taking deep breaths.

They looked up and the sight of more Wolves made them drew in sharp breaths

their faces paled. The Wind Wolves that they had already supposedly left behind

had run around to block them.

They both thought, ’Is there no end to this? if this keeps up we probably won’t be

able to get away before the Alpha gets here.’

Even if we manage to get way from these Wind wolves, if the Alpha decides to

chase us on its own, we probably wouldn’t get far before the Alpha catches up.

They had killed at least 70 Wolves already, but that wasn’t even half of the

number of Wind Wolves that had surrounded them. Both of them had sustained

multiple injuries, and were almost getting exhausted by the endless tide of

enemies.

They started considering maybe they should surrender and just quit this survival

training. It would not be shaful if they lost to this pack of Wolves. But then

when the rembered that they had not gotten any trophies to get them more

Mage points they felt aggrieved.

Suddenly, there was a flash of a bright light ahead of them and several Wind

wolves were sent flying.

The twins caught sight of a man’s silhouette. He was wearing the sa kind of

armor as they were, except he was glowing with a golden light while holding what

looked like a 3 ter long Silver light sword.

The sword was beautiful glowing with the light of the moon.

"Peter, Paul, stop slacking off! The Alpha wolf will get here with the rest of the

pack in 3 minutes. We need to get out of here now."

Drake shouted as he swung his ’Radiant Moon Sword’.

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

The twins exclaid as they recognized Drake.

Drake had finally arrived. He had actually arrived a few seconds earlier, its just

that the twins hadn’t noticed him since they were too occupied.

"What are you doing here?"

"How did you find us?"

"It’s a long story, stop asking questions! We need t get out of here now, so stop

holding back and use all your trump cards."

With a quick look using the ’Eye of Order’ Drake saw through both their details.

This was the first ti he would ever look through the twins details with the ’Eye

of Order’.
