Chapter 383: Destroy His Father-in-Law
The day after the wedding was bliss. While others went for their honeymoon on this day. Qian ng and Mo Qingchen shared it being lazy with their friends and family.
"Do you want another honeymoon?" Qingchen asked as they lay in bed, the conversation from the opening in front of the cabin floating into his ears.
"Honeymoon?" Qian ng humd. "Sure. I don't need it but it would be nice later on," she chid.
He raised his brow in question.
"I am completely relaxed right now. I don't need a honeymoon just because of the ceremony," she said. "Maybe, when I just finished a difficult project, or you finished sothing stressful… let's spontaneously pack up and go sowhere. Let's take so ti off and have our honeymoon then."
He raised his hand and cradled her cheek. "If I didn't know you, I would think you were trying to save money for both of us."
She giggled. "How are you sure I am not? Maybe I am running low on money," she stated.
Qingchen paused. "Are you?"
She shook her head slightly. "Not really. I might in the future, though." She didn't say further, but Qingchen had an inkling it was part of her plan which she wasn't quite sure of as of yet.
He shrugged and pulled closer to her. With her head burrowed in her chest and the noise of people outside, the two of them went to sleep… in broad daylight.
It was a novelty. A little piece of heaven before they went back to their exhausting daily life.
