Chapter 274: Kept Him Waiting Too Long

And it was a relatively good night.

Mo Qingchen was forever busy completing his new software and had inford her that he would be having dinner at the office. Xiong Hua was waiting around, asking if she should prepare dinner.

Qian ng felt bad having the woman stay back long after she should be working and cleaning up after her. So, she asked her to rest. She took a relaxing bubble bath before throwing in so stuff and eating whatever was in the house.

Right at that mont, as she stared at the stars, she heard the door to the poolside foyer creak open. She lolled her head to the side to watch Mo Qingchen appear, looking exceedingly handso in his suit.

"I was looking for you in the house," he told her as he closed the door behind him.

"Hello, hubby!"

"Hello," he humored her chirpy tone. "Why are you sitting out here in the dark? I was going to look here earlier but the lights were not on."

"I wanted to design our rings. I need to relax and the stars are so beautiful tonight," Qian ng explained, turning her head again so that she could look straight up at the sky.

She heard his footsteps approach. He stretched one arm out and gripped the side of the lounge chair as he leaned over to kiss her.

"Are you drunk?" he asked against her lips, probably slling the alcohol on her.

Qian ng nodded and he kissed her again, unbothered. He was not used to her drinking, but he was fine with it as long as she was safe about it.

"How was your dinner?" Qian ng asked, lifting her arm to loosely drape it over his shoulder and play with the short hairs at the nape of his neck.

"Uneventful," he responded, moving his head to the right to press move down further and kiss her neck softly. "You sent Xiong Hua ho?"

"I had leftovers," she confird, closing her eyes and enjoying his lips against her skin.

She wanted him to kiss her again but before she had a chance to ask him, he straightened back up, moving away from her.

"I will be upstairs. I want to shower and change into sothing comfortable. Will you be here long?"

"No," Qian ng said. "But don't wait for . I might get carried away with designing."

"I know that. But I want to wait for you."

Had she been more alert, she would have recognized the underlying aning in his words. But she was buzzed. She simply nodded.

She turned to the sky and listened to the sound of the door opening and closing behind her as Mo Qingchen left.

She lost herself in thought and soon she was drawing again. This ti, a different design. Ti flew by and she finished a few drafts before she got up and headed in. She was already starting to co down from her buzzed state, but she still felt good.

She wandered through the kitchen, looking for sothing to eat. She was ravenous. Clearly, she was leaving a mark on the household grocery list.

With her stomach full and a bottle of juice in her hand, she made her way to the bedroom. Mo Qingchen was already in bed, sitting against the pillows and looking over at the tab in his hands.

A bottle of wine sat on the bedside table, making Qian ng smile.

His hair was damp and tousled and he was naked except for the black boxers that shielded the best part of his body. She stood at the door and admired his body for a while.

She could tell he slled amazing so she briskly walked to him right away.

She placed her bottle of juice down on the nightstand next to his bottle of wine and climbed her way onto the bed and into his lap, sitting sidewards.

"Hi," Mo Qingchen laughed softly, setting the tab aside and adjusting his body so that he could accommodate her. At last, he draped one arm over her thighs.

"Did I keep you waiting for long?" she asked, batting her eyelid.

"What do you think?" he questioned with a quirk of his lips.

"I got too engrossed in my work."

"You look positively inspired," he responded. "I feel inspired just looking at you. What did you do to yourself?"

"I transcended to another plane for a few monts. It happens sotis." Qian ng shrugged.

He shook his head in disbelief and reached for the bottle of wine. He turned his head as he reached, making his jaw and the cords of his neck pop out. Qian ng loved the way the muscle in his arms flexed as he tensed and the way his Adam's apple bobbed in his throat.

His body was strong and defined. Instinctively, she loved these details. This was one of the monts when she was sure she was crazy or had turned into a primitive being. She had a side that wanted the big and strong caveman to hunt and take her. She wanted to get her freak on. The conclusion was: Mo Qingchen made her panties wet.

The alcohol helped a lot too.

So, she took the initiative while his head was turned to lean in and kiss right under his earlobe before nibbling on it. He did sll good. She breathed it in as she moved lower to kiss his neck and worked her way to his Adam's apple.

He humd, making her smile in satisfaction against him.

Qian ng had co to realize that his neck was his weakness. Kissing him on the neck would always make the guy in his boxers wave hello. Strongly. Right then, she could feel it awaken beneath her and poke her ass.

He humd again and she felt a bubble of joy. She loved how his chest rumbled when he moaned and humd. Any of the other glorious noises that he made when she was on him.
