Chapter 232: Marriage Was Making Her Dumber
She was on the call with Mr. Mo as he counted those coins last ti! How could he not recognize her?
She looked so different in real life.
"Important life event," Qian ng said shortly.
Mo Qingchen tugged at her hand, trying to pull her away. "Wow. Are you so weary to marry ?" she asked, her voice sounding as sweet as pie.
"Co. The line will be too long if we are late," he said gruffly. Qian ng shook her head in disbelief. She squeezed his hand tightly and followed him with a skip in her step.

Mo Qingchen led her to the bank, keeping her close to his side with his arm around her waist after leaving the civil bureau office. As they went through the monotonous routine of making a bank account and connecting recurring paynts and transfers to it, Qian ng once again looked at the docunt with both their signs on it.
A few months ago, she wouldn't even have thought about signing a business contract with Mo Qingchen, but now she had signed a marriage form, bank forms. They were even considered each other's dical guardians from then on. She wondered how many more papers they would sign together. The thought made her smile.
While it wasn't really the 'big day' everyone touted it to be in the traditional sense, it was her 'big day' in so ways. It was a life-changing, exciting, and monuntal day for her. She wanted the rest of it to be spent at Bora Bora, or at least on her way.
Being her stubborn self, she didn't listen to Mo Qingchen when he told her they should stay at ho and wait until the next morning to leave for Bora Bora. She wanted to get there literally as soon as possible, so Mo Qingchen had borrowed his father's private jet to fly them there. They stopped by the house to take their luggage and left for the airport straight.
So, as a result, Mo Qingchen and she were both exhausted by the ti they settled in for their flight.
Yin Ah raised the curtain separating the quarters and entered with flutes of champagne for the newlywed couple. She gave Qian ng a smile, mischievous and all before leaving.
It was common knowledge that they were together, so she didn't bother explaining. Qian ng was sure she couldn't sleep on the flight because of Yin Ah's eyes on her, but she ended up surprised.
She woke up when they reached Bora Bora.
She had only woken up for short spans of ti to eat, only being fed by Mo Qingchen and then falling back asleep.
She awoke with a jolt, the first thought entering her foggy mind being that her neck was incredibly sore. She rubbed at her eyes, opening and shutting them a few tis as she tried to clear the fuzziness. She rubbed her eyes, opening and shutting them a few tis as she tried to clear the fuzziness.
She winced, moving one hand to rub at the back of her neck.
"Sore?" Mo Qingchen asked, looked over at her.
"Yes," she said, tilting her head from side to side.
"I figured you would be. You slept with your head on my shoulder the entire ti. I think you may have even drooled a little on my shirt," he said, his face scrunching up in distaste.
"I really slept well. I feel so full of energy!" she yelped. "I must have been really exhausted all this ti." She patted his shoulder. "It must have been your shoulder. So broad and soft."
He froze for the fraction of a second. "Did you call soft?" he asked, his voice lower than usual.
She blinked. "I also called your shoulder broad. Does your arm feel numb?" she asked after a second, worry taking over.
"Absolutely not. I worked for most of the ti. I could have taken you to the bedroom, but you wouldn't budge even if I tried. You didn't move an inch."
She frowned and ignored his teasing. "Where are we, anyway?"
"I believe we are just about to land. You woke up just in ti."
"We're landing already? It's been thirteen hours?" she asked, horrified. "I lost a day!" she groaned.
"Well… it's almost a day behind Shanghai ti. We have loads of ti." He tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear.
"Did you sleep?" she asked softly.
"Only a little while. It's evening in Bora Bora. I want to sleep at night," he snickered. "I know that you won't be able to sleep all of tonight."
"What the hell?" she asked incredulously.
"What?"
"Why did you let sleep, then? I don't want my sleep schedule to go awry. Now, I won't be able to sleep tonight!" Bad Mo Qingchen.
"You're so stubborn, you would have slept anyway." He shrugged.
"Probably, but you could have reminded ." How did she forget about the ti difference? Was marriage making her dumber already?
"I'm starving," she announced, feeling her stomach growl.
"We can order room service once we get to the hotel. Don't eat the food here any longer," he advised. "I have already booked restaurants and deliveries of all sorts of food."
Qian ng blinked. "When did you get the ti to do all of that?" she gasped. "Are we going on a honeymoon or eating spree?" she asked with a groan.
He turned to her with a devious look. "We will not be working on our honeymoon. It is the ti to resort to your basic necessities in life. Eating, fucking, and sleeping." He smiled so angelically that Qian ng choked on her breath.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," she whispered. "And we aren't going out to eat once we settle into the hotel?"
Mo Qingchen shook his head. "I am tired. The resort we are staying in has excellent food, so we will indulge from the confines of our room tonight. And then… it will be ti for bed." He smirked at her.
"What a jerk," she mumbled as she fastened her seatbelt as the indicator light flicked on.
