Over the past few days, the outdoor livestream host Liu Bao had been searching for Jiang Feng. Many people also hoped to encounter Jiang Feng.

That day, he received a comnt: "I saw that small shop owner at the food stalls in Juxing Shopping Mall, setting up a stall selling Zhajiang noodles."

Upon seeing the comnt, Liu Bao was slightly startled. Soone found him?

So, Liu Bao imdiately started his car and headed straight for Juxing Shopping Mall. Unfortunately, when he arrived, it was already 3 p.m. Jiang Feng had already finished work for the day.

There weren’t many custors inside the food stalls, and so stall owners were resting in front of their booths. Liu Bao stood in front of Jiang Feng’s stall for a while. These characters on the signboard look familiar, he thought.

He went to another stall, ordered so rice noodle rolls and a bowl of porridge, and chatted with the stall owner. "Boss, that stall selling Zhajiang noodles, does it do particularly good business?" Liu Bao asked casually.

The rice noodle roll seller was quite honest and nodded, replying, "Yeah, that young man has only been here for three days, but his business is excellent. A lot of people eat his noodles."

"What does he look like? Is he especially clean, quite handso, and also tall?" Liu Bao asked again.

"Yeah, I have a video here. He was shaving noodles earlier today, and many people recorded him," the rice noodle roll seller said, taking out his phone. "I fild him too. His noodle-shaving skills are incredibly impressive." He showed Liu Bao the video he had recorded.

Liu Bao curiously leaned over to watch. In the video, he saw Jiang Feng rapidly shaving noodles in front of a boiling stove. His arms are a blur of motion!

Recognizing the person in the video as Jiang Feng, Liu Bao’s eyes lit up with excitent. It’s really him! I’ve finally found him!

"This must be playing at several tis the speed; it looks too fast," Liu Bao said with a laugh.

Hearing this, the rice noodle roll seller calmly replied, "There’s no speed increase; it’s really that fast. The video isn’t very clear. In reality, he’s much faster than this."

Upon hearing the seller’s words, Liu Bao looked at Jiang Feng in the video, his face full of astonishnt. Holy shit! This isn’t sped up?

In the video, Jiang Feng’s speed at shaving the noodles was extrely fast. One could only see Jiang Feng’s hands swiftly moving back and forth, with strand after strand of noodles tracing parabolas as they fell into the boiling noodle soup. The scene looked quite magical. Although he was just making noodles, it was very pleasing to watch.

Liu Bao couldn’t help but watch for a while.

At this mont, the rice noodle roll seller added, "That Zhajiang noodles stall is very popular. Earlier, there was a long queue, and all the custors at those tables were eating his noodles. If people didn’t know he’s only here for a few days, other vendors would have gotten upset by now and tried to squeeze him out."

Upon hearing the rice noodle roll seller’s words, Liu Bao nodded. This fits with Jiang Feng’s usual style.

While eating, Liu Bao went online and searched for related videos. Sure enough, soone had posted a video of Jiang Feng shaving noodles online. The views weren’t very high, with about seven or eight hundred likes.

People left comnts in the section:

"Are you sure this isn’t sped up?"

"This has to be special effects!"

"This chef looks like the guy whose stall is especially popular!"

After seeing the video, Liu Bao imdiately downloaded it. "Boss, does that Zhajiang noodles stall open at night?" Liu Bao turned his head to ask.

The rice noodle roll seller said, "About that, I’m not sure. He didn’t co yesterday afternoon."

"Alright, I got it. Thanks," Liu Bao replied. After finishing the rice noodle rolls, he expressed his gratitude to the owner. No matter, I’ve finally found him.

In the evening, Liu Bao ca back to look around again. Unfortunately, the Zhajiang noodles stall wasn’t open, and he could only leave in disappointnt. I’ll have to co back at noon tomorrow, he thought.

Jiang Feng’s little stall had attracted many people. The police officers from the city public security bureau also chatted during their office breaks.

"The Zhajiang noodles stall doesn’t open at night? I was looking forward to having a bowl of Zhajiang noodles! Now I can only go there at noon!"

"With such great skills, if he were to open his own noodle restaurant, the business would definitely be very good. It would be great if he opened one nearby."

"Let’s go there a bit earlier tomorrow at noon; it’s too crowded."

「anwhile, at the Second Criminal Investigation Team.」

These past few days had brought an air of festivity to the squad. They had just cracked a major case and rescued a kidnapped girl through tily interrogation. Comndations from their superiors were on their way.

The criminal had been sentenced to death. For the past few days, the convict had been clamoring in his cell for a bowl of Zhajiang noodles, specifically the kind associated with the Second Criminal Investigation Team. In keeping with the principle of allowing a condemned man his last al, the prison contacted the squad to inform them of his request.

Upon hearing the news from the prison, Ma Ran reported the matter to Captain Yang Hao.

"He sure has a lot of whims, committing so many cris and still thinking about Zhajiang noodles," Yang Hao said, his anger stoked by mories of the interrogation.

"It’s all because those street stall Zhajiang noodles are too delicious," Ma Ran responded. "But with all this fuss, the criminal is now repentant, weeping daily in prison. He was initially resigned to death, but the craving for noodles has made him not want to die anymore."

"If he knew it would co to this, why did he do it in the first place? It’s not up to him to choose now," Yang Hao said. The two of them chatted idly.

"Ma Ran, go buy a bowl of Zhajiang noodles today and deliver it to him," Yang Hao said after so thought. "After all, it is his last al."

"Alright," Ma Ran agreed.

Afterwards, Ma Ran went to Juxing Shopping Mall, intending to buy a takeout order of Zhajiang noodles. But Jiang Feng wasn’t open for business.

Ma Ran called Yang Hao. "Captain, the stall’s closed this evening, and there’s no contact for the owner. What should we do? Should I ask managent to get the owner to co, or just buy a bowl of Zhajiang noodles from another stall?"

Hearing this, Yang Hao replied, "Just buy from another stall; we’ve done all that we could."

"Alright," Ma Ran said. He hung up and went to find another noodle shop.

「...」

At that mont, Jiang Feng was at ho, playing with Little Black. The little critter was cute, obedient, and naturally smart. Jiang Feng had taught it simple commands like sit, stand, spin around, and play dead, all of which it could perform on cue. It even knew to go to a designated spot to relieve itself. It was very easy to look after.

This week’s stall-tending has felt very comfortable. I only need to be there around noon every day to complete my tasks. There’s no need to go in the afternoon.

The reward for today’s task was the Braised Noodles Recipe. I’ve mastered another new noodle dish. I’ll have to try it out later.

「The next day.」

Jiang Feng arrived at his stall around 10 a.m., preparing the ingredients. The at vendor delivered the at, vegetables, and seasonings Jiang Feng needed on ti. Jiang Feng stored the at and vegetables, then got busy at the stove. He chopped at, cut vegetables, and made sauces. It’s almost noon, so there will definitely be a lot of custors, he thought as noon approached.

Around 11 a.m., Liu Bao appeared in front of Jiang Feng’s stall, instantly spotting Jiang Feng busily working at the cutting board.

"Executive Chef Jiang!"

A gleam of joy flashed in Liu Bao’s eyes, his face brimming with smiles.

Jiang Feng had been in good spirits, but upon seeing Liu Bao, his eyes filled with astonishnt. Then, a sinking feeling hit him. It’s over! Completely over! My leisurely days are gone!

People’s joys and sorrows truly aren’t shared, Jiang Feng thought. He vividly rembered that each ti Liu Bao showed up, the number of custors increased. It looks like this ti will be no different.

"Hello," Jiang Feng nonetheless greeted Liu Bao with his usual good-natured attitude.

"Executive Chef Jiang, I’ve been looking for you for several days. I didn’t expect to find you running a stall here," Liu Bao ordered. "I’ll have two bowls of shaved noodles and two bowls of Zhajiang noodles."

Next to Liu Bao, his cousin was also present, broadcasting live on his phone.

"You’ll need to wait a bit; the at sauce is just finishing," Jiang Feng replied, continuing his work at the stove.

He quickly adjusted his mindset. Alright, et challenges head-on, deal with problems as they arise. It’s just a large group of hungry custors, isn’t it? I can surely cook for them.
