Irene was more of a nerd and she was wearing these round glasses. While George wore tight-fitting clothes and he looked hot as heck.

The three friends reached each other and embraced each other in one big hug as they called each other nas.

Bertha watched this whole thing amusingly, finding these three, with an average age of 27, very cute but understandable.

After the warm hug, the three separated and Briar found her arms locked on both sides and being pulled into the house.

Bertha followed behind and closed the door since she was the last person to enter.

"Is there sothing to eat? I am starving!" Briar asked as she looked around curiously.

Irene scoffed as she separated her arm from the other, but still answered, "Um. I made so food. Isn’t your darling feeding you?"

Briar’s face flushed when she heard that, she couldn’t help but hit Irene’s shoulder playfully making the other three coo.

"Hehe, how far have you guys gone?" Bertha asked playfully as she dragged Briar to the living room.

George clicked his tongue, amusent flashing in his eyes as he followed the girls. Irene didn’t follow but went to the kitchen.

Briar, who was on the hot seat, took a seat on the sofa and she looked around shyly, wondering how she should respond to this question.

"Could it be ..." Bertha elongated her words as she scanned Briar from head to toe, making Briar cover her face in shyness earning a hearty laughter from George.

"Don’t tease her!" he couldn’t help but intervene with a chuckle.

Bertha, however, burst into a hearty laughter until tears started streaming down her cheeks.

When Irene stepped into the room holding a tray, she couldn’t help but add to the ss. "With the way she is acting, she might have jumped on him the second she got a chance at it!"

Upon hearing that, Briar scread frustratingly inwardly. How could these friends think like that?

They haven’t even stripped each other’s clothes yet and yet they were thinking that far.

"Here is your food!" in the middle of all the teasing, Irene placed the tray in front of Briar forcing the other to look up and speak aggrievedly, "We are only at the kissing stage!" and revealed how far they have gone stunning the other three.

"Is he a monk?" George exclaid as he scanned Briar from head to toe.

Although Briar wasn’t the most beautiful person, he had seen in his twenty-eight years of living; she was attractive in many ways. How could that man share the sa bed with her for such a long ti and yet still remain at the kissing stage?

Even the girls were stunned as well.

They all couldn’t help but fire Briar with questions.

Briar realizing what she had done, could only cover her face embarrassingly for a mont before answering honestly.

She didn’t want them thinking ill of her man.

It wasn’t like she had never felt his ..... ahem .... He was definitely not a monk. She needed them to know.

"It’s not like that really!" Briar started explaining, playing with her fingers shyly. It’s been a very crazy morning.

She was attacked by Logan early in the morning and forced to do things she never dared to think of doing and hours later; she was busy defending Logan and exposing so intimate details of her marriage.

Who would have guessed that one day she would have a day like that?

"So, what is he like?" Irene asked teasingly, looking at Briar with two pairs of eyes.

Briar shyly looked at Irene and answered, "Um..... you know that I have been sick all this ti and recently got better. Wouldn’t he be a monster if he touched at such a ti?"

The three friends looked at each other knowingly but didn’t ntion a thing and simply let Briar explain herself further.

"Um ...besides, if we do that easily, won’t he see as easy or loose? I don’t just want to give in easily, no matter how much I want him. I want him to treasure . Even more so than that woman," she said determinedly as she looked at her friends with a very familiar expression.

When the three saw that gaze, they all smiled genuinely and George said, "Now you are talking. So, it is working?"

Briar grinned when she saw that her friends had seen right through her.

"Hehe, it’s working. I think in a few days, I will beco the real Mrs. yer. He will be mine heart and soul," she responded, a strange light in her eyes as she recalled sothing.

Bertha, upon hearing that, clapped happily and said, "That’s good. That’s the spirit. And when you hook him, make sure that he won’t slip away from your hands."

"You also need to do sothing about your looks and all that," Irene added.

They were all a bit too brutal and honest with each other. So, it wasn’t saddening when that was ntioned.

When Briar heard that, she deflated like a balloon, sinking further into the sofa and dejectedly said, "You know that I can’t really help it. I have tried my best, and I took dicine for years and yet the change is just minimal. Should I really do so costic surgery?"

Briar hated the fact that she looked average and not that striking. Rembering how she looked yesterday at the banquet, she beca greedy. She wondered what it would be like to look and feel beautiful like that. Even if she couldn’t beco that beautiful, at least have her beauty be increased by at least one point.

Wouldn’t it be nice?

Seeing her feeling down because of this matter, Bertha grinned at Briar as she took her hand in hers, making Briar look at the other curiously, wondering what she was up to again.

"You don’t have to do any surgery. That would only ruin you. You wouldn’t want Logan looking at other won because you ruined yourself, would you?"

Upon hearing that, Briar’s gaze turned murderous, making George shake his head helplessly while thinking inwardly.

’It’s good that she finally got what she wanted. Who knows what kind of psycho she would have beco if otherwise?’

Bertha, seeing Briar’s reaction, smiled wryly, knowing that she had gone a bit too far. Briar’s brain didn’t work well when such thoughts and suggestions were raised.

All gentleness would vanish replaced by murderous intent. She didn’t want to offend this ancestor, so she could only hurriedly add, "That is why we three bought a wonderful present for you to congratulate you on your wedding."

As soon as those words were said, the murderous intent was retracted and Briar turned 180 degrees from being psychotic to sunny as she looked at Bertha with enthusiasm, asking, "Dear, what did you guys buy for ? Tell !"

Seeing her changing so quickly like a chaleon, the three heaved with relief before smiling. The little girl can be scary at tis. She makes them worry.

Seeing her in a good mood, the friends told Briar about their wonderful gift.

"We have ordered you a beauty pill. It will be delivered in a week." Irene was the one to inform her of this news.

When Briar heard that, her eyes reddened as she looked at her friends.

"You guys ..... how .... Why would you do that?" she choked as she looked at them.

She knew about the pill that they were talking about. It was sothing that was available on the CIRCLE inner circle website market. On that website, there were a lot of good things and things that defied nature. But they were all expensive.

Everything in the market was bought using points and not money. So, a person might have millions but without the points, it would be the sa as being poor.

The last ti she checked the price of the pill, it required 50,000 points. And yet in the six years she had been part of CIRCLE, she only managed to earn 8,000 points.

To acquire more points, a mber would be required to partake in several missions, which unfortunately she couldn’t do since she was busy with the children and other chores.

As a result, she pitifully had these asly points. So, to hear that her friends pooled their points to buy her that pill, she couldn’t help but cry.

"Don’t cry dear. You deserve it. This has been your dream for over a decade. We can’t help with much but only this, so don’t cry, okay?"

Briar felt touched when listening to that. She teared up even more.

As a result, the three could only coax her and say sweet words for a long ti before she finally quieted, though she could be seen sniffing now and then.

When talking about the beauty pill, she would need to talk about the organization that she was part of; CIRCLE.

And to know more about CIRCLE, she would need to go back to several years before Selena t her maker, where it started.

After all, it was all because of Selena that she ended up becoming part of such an organization one can easily join but only exit once dead and gone.

It was a thing for life. And sothing that she doesn’t regret.
