After the call with Irene, Briar didn’t call anyone or receive any calls. She drove safely to the salon where she was directed and once, she got there, she called Lisa nervously.

’Let’s hope that she didn’t forget about our appointnt!’

Ring. Ring. Ring.

The call rang for a couple of monts before it was picked up by a cheerful female voice. [Briar, dear!]

A smile blossod on her face the mont she heard the familiar calling, "Lisa, good morning!"

[A very good morning to you too, dear. Where are you?]

"I just arrived at the salon. And yourself?"

[You are already there? Oh my goodness! I am on the way. Will reach there in an hour or so!] she answered, her voice a bit panicky which made Briar wonder what was going on with the other.

"Okay, I can wait. I need to have my hair washed, anyway."

[Okay, you wait for . When you get inside, just look for Bell. She is my hairdresser. I already called her yesterday!]

Briar felt warmth coursing through her body when she heard that and happily responded, "Thanks, Lisa. See you when you arrive then!"

[Sure. Take care.]

The two didn’t talk for a long ti before Briar picked up her backpack and alighted from the car.

She locked the car and stashed the keys in the backpack before carrying it as she walked towards the two-floor building where the salon was.

When she stepped into the building, Briar nodded approvingly when she saw the interior décor. The whole building belonged to the salon, and it looked pretty good. No wonder why people like Lisa frequented it.

"Hello Miss, welco to Radiance Beauty. How may I help you?" the friendly receptionist welcod her with a warm smile on her face, her deanor very welcoming.

"Hello! Um, I am here to see Bell. I was referred to her by a friend of mine, Lisa," Briar responded politely, a smile on her face as she talked to the receptionist. "Can you please inform her that Briar is here for her appointnt?"

The receptionist smilingly nodded and answered, "Sure. Please take a seat for a mont while I call her!" gesturing for Briar to take a seat.

Briar nodded obediently without putting on any airs, sat down on the comfortable couch, and picked a magazine to browse through while she waited.

The receptionist made the call, but Briar wasn’t interested in the content, so she didn’t bother to eavesdrop.

Monts later, the call ended, and Briar heard the receptionist addressing her. "Ms. Briar, Bell will be downstairs shortly. Please wait for a mont."

Briar raised her head nonchalantly and nodded in response before returning her attention to the fascinating foreign magazine with a beautiful lady on the front page.

’How can soone be so beautiful?’ she couldn’t help but murmur as she looked at the woman dressed in a bright red couture gown which suited her flowing white hair adorned in jewels.

Briar was fascinated by her; she couldn’t help but want to know more about her.

There was a reminder of the page where the woman’s full story was, and Briar promised to read that and know more about her. Although her universal language skills were lacking, they wouldn’t hinder her from reading.

Talking might be another issue, but reading would be a breeze in the park.

Before she could visit the page, she heard the receptionist calling her, "Ms. Briar, Bell is here!" and that reminder forced her to raise her head, only to et another pretty face which was suitable to even put on the front page of the magazine cover.

’Were hairdressers this pretty nowadays?’ she pondered curiously as she plastered a smile on her face while looking at Bell.

At the sa ti, Bell, who had been curious about the client her super client, Lisa, a rich lady who never disappoints referred to her and forced her to clear her schedule for the whole day, finally saw the person she was looking for.

It would be a lie if Bell said that she wasn’t envious. Briar was a beautiful woman, young and had that freshness about her that just made others be pulled to her.

Briar shouldn’t be soone to be underestimated by the way Lisa talked about her. Either she was a daughter of a rich family or a young wife of so rich man. Anyway, regardless of who she was, Bell just knew one thing. She liked Briar so much and wanted to know her better.

"Hello, Ms. Briar. I am Bell, your hairdresser for the day!" Bell hurriedly introduced herself with a smile as soon as she locked gaze with Briar.

Briar rose to her feet, a magazine in one hand and the backpack in the other.

"The pleasure is mine, Bell. Please just call Briar and please take care of today!" a sheepish smile on her face as she said that.

’She is so cute!’ Bell shrieked inwardly watching Briar responding to her but still maintained a calm expression on the outside as she answered, "I will do my best," and with a gesturing motion, she added, "Now if you may~" urging Briar to follow her.

"Sure!" Briar wasn’t a difficult person to deal with, so she readily agreed and shortly, the two took the stairs upstairs, on the way, Bell was chatty and shared so information about the salon so that Briar would know where she was and what to expect.

When they got upstairs, Briar was even more satisfied with the interior and hygiene of the place.

It was spotless, it slt nice and above all, the hairdressers all looked professional.

"Welco to Radiance Beauty!"

As soon as she was spotted, several hairdressers welcod Briar warmly, and it was not sothing she used to see when she visited the salons in the past. It was quite intriguing to experience such after being not in a salon in a very long ti.

Briar bead at them and responded politely as she was taken to the seat, that she would be stuck on for hours to co.
