The dia friends were busy taking videos and photos of the ladies who were walking the red carpet arriving at one of the famous banquets ever held in the city.
Because such kind of banquets were usually a gathering of socialites and upper society ladies, the dia friends wouldn’t let such an event pass without stealing so peeks.
Besides, these ladies also wanted to be seen. So, both sides always cooperate.
it was on such events, that these ladies would dress to the nines and show case their beauty and the recent designs that would be very costly to own.
Expensive and luxurious cars were arriving, and the attendees would alight from the cars. They would wear these smiles, wave at the dia friends as they walked down the red carpet.
At that mont, a limousine stopped by and all caras and attention were on the car.
The door to the limousine opened, and a man dressed in all black alighted from the car before opening the door a bit wide.
"Who could it be this ti?"
They were all curious and the sound of caras flashing never stopped.
The person inside didn’t keep them curious for long, as a pair of long legs ca into view, making everyone gasp in awe. Monts later, the person finally showed herself and she made everyone very excited.
"Isn’t that the young mistress of the yer family?"
"It’s Alice yer! I am curious who she ca with?"
The dia friends beca very excited once again.
Alice who had Just shown herself felt proud at the attention that she was getting. She stretched her hand towards the car and a hand was placed in hers.
"Take care, Mom!" she said in a whisper as she looked at her mother who was slowly coming out of the car.
Madam yer flashed a smile at her daughter and mouthed, "I will be fine!" and Alice bead at hearing that.
The two ladies finally alighted the car and the dia friends were very happy to take more shots on them.
At the sa ti, they were also curious about why these two didn’t co with the daughter-in-law. However, these questions couldn’t be asked at all. So, they could only watch the pair walking the red carpet and swallow all questions.
Three more cars arrived, and more ladies walked down the red carpet.
Just as everyone was wondering when yer’s new wife would show up, a red flashy sedan pulled by. It was so eye-catching, it forced even those who didn’t want to look, to have a look.
The rear car door suddenly opened and a beautiful leg stretched out, teasing those who were watching. The heel on that pair of legs was exquisite and very thin.
Those who were in the fashion industry couldn’t help but take more photos of it. How could a person walk on such a thin heel?
However, when the owner of the leg was revealed, the dia friends couldn’t help but exclaim in their hearts, ’it’s her!’
If it was her, then anything was possible.
A beautiful, and mature lady alighted from the car. She had a beautiful smile on her face.
Wearing a beautiful red tea-length gown which revealed her beautiful legs and that pair of red and black thin high-heeled shoes.
Her gown had thin straps which nearly looked invisible. Her bountiful chest made her look fuller. Resting on her bountiful chest was a beautiful diamond piece which matched with the earrings dangling on her earlobes.
Her lips were painted red, and she looked like a proper vixen, very enchanting and not easily ignored.
The beautiful lady simply smiled as she looked at the dia friends. She didn’t walk away from the car, but simply sidestepped, giving room to her companion.
If she was dressed like that, then what about her companion?
"Looking at her like this, I can’t believe that she is a doctor!"
"Who said that people should dress like their occupation?"
"I was wondering why I didn’t see her with Lady Helen before. It seems that she is bringing soone else. But who could the other person be?"
"That will be revealed in a mont!"
While these dia friends were busy guessing, the lady in red, looked at her companion and nodded smilingly, as if urging the other party to co out and that everything was fine.
As soon as she did that, the companion seed to have found the courage and power to leave the car and shortly, she graced everyone with her presence.
"Wow!"
"Damn!"
"Who is that?"
The place was filled with exclaims and astounded gasps.
Even those who were still walking down the red carpet couldn’t help but stop and take a look at what was happening at the back.
anwhile, inside the banquet hall, there were several screens mounted, and currently showing what was happening outside.
At that mont, the several ladies dressed to the nines were holding a glass of sothing, looking at the screen with different emotions written on their faces.
Madam yer, Alice, Lady Helen and a few other ladies huddled together were all wearing smiles as they looked at the two who were causing a scene.
Lady Helen leaned towards Madam yer and whispered, "I can’t believe that you have been hiding such a pearl at ho. Why not show it off more often?"
Madam yer’s lips curled upwards, a satisfaction glint flickering in her eyes upon hearing such a complint.
It was never easy hearing such from this woman who was sharp tongued and well known for offending anyone that she ca across.
