Without the ladies around, they looked carefree and were talking about topics they couldn’t bring out with the partners around.
"Man, are you really serious about her? I thought that it was supposed to be a contract marriage or sothing. How did it change?" Damien asked curiously as he picked up the glass of wine from the table.
Wellington agreed with Damien. The last ti he saw the couple, they weren’t like that as well. What happened in this period for them to be so lovey-dovey? If he didn’t know Logan, he would think that they were in love for a while.
Logan, hearing his friends’ queries, involuntarily smiled as he thought about Briar.
Wouldn’t his heart be made of stone if he didn’t feel for her that way?
"She is one of the best things that ever happened to my life," Logan’s baritone voice sounded in the room, sending everyone in shock.
If they were to hear what he said in his mind, they would have gotten a stroke and ended up hospitalized.

His friends, upon hearing that, couldn’t help but think forwardly and hurriedly asked, "My guy! Did you perhaps fall for her a very long ti ago and use this chance to tie her to your side?"
Logan shook his head as if that wasn’t the case.
"I have never looked at her in that way, ever, but she did. She had been loving for a very long ti and I still find it pleasing to the eyes," he responded with a smug smile as he shared that with friends.
When they heard that, they all rolled their eyes at him, wondering how shaless a person could be.
If it wasn’t for the fact that Logan wanted soone the children wouldn’t be resistant towards, he wouldn’t have thought about Briar at all. If he had picked soone else, he would have missed out on such a good girl and perhaps in this life, he wouldn’t have known all the shaless things done to his family.
He wouldn’t have known how much he missed out on having such a good wife and mother to his kids. Thankfully, his thoughts veered more towards his children than his own needs.
"Is she really that good? There is nothing fishy about her or sothing? I don’t want to see you hurting or getting fooled!" Luke asked worriedly after learning about Briar’s feelings for Logan.
Logan shook his head and answered his friend, "Don’t worry. I have done a detailed and extensive investigation. There is nothing about her that I don’t know. Besides, without even looking at it, she is a bit too honest. I don’t need to put more force!"
Wellington agreed to that when Logan said it. He was one of the people who experienced how honest she could be.
"So here is the question, do you love her? Because if you do, and see how much she loves you. She can’t hide her love for you at all. When will you host the wedding? You need to introduce her properly to the world. That way she will be properly accepted by others.
You know how tough it could be for won sotis, especially when their spouses are n like us!" Wellington asked.
Logan looked at his friend, who was as pitiful as him and smiled at him before answering, "It’s on the agenda. The ring should be arriving on any day. Once I propose to her formally, we will start preparing for the wedding. I want to make her mine officially just as bad, but I don’t want it to be rushed. This will be her first and last wedding, after all."
"Oh~~~~~" the guys cooed playfully when they heard Logan speaking seriously like that.
They couldn’t help but tease him a bit. However, they supported him.
It wasn’t everyone or every ti that a man gets fortunate and falls in love with people who truly care for him.
When finding and eting soone special, people should be greedy and hold on to it. It wasn’t a sin to be selfish.
People live just once.
Now that the matter was in the open, and Logan’s feelings were aid at Briar, Wellington felt that it was necessary to reveal that matter. It had been bothering him.
He didn’t want to see such a thing happening again.
So, when everyone was all relaxed and not expecting to hear sothing that was interesting, he asked boldly Logan, "Logan, do you know that Raine is in love with you?"
Boom!
Logan was stunned and frozen stiff when he heard that. He looked at Wellington doubtfully as he was filled with disbelief and asked, "Are you drunk?"
Where did it show that Raine loves him? And for what reason would she even love him?
Weren’t they good brothers and sisters?
Upon seeing that, Wellington’s face pald as he too was shaken and shocked by Logan’s reaction.
No wonder why the matter was dragged until now. His friend was good at tis, but how co he was so blind to see Raine’s feelings?
If Raine were to hear that, wouldn’t her heart shatter and get on the next plane tomorrow?
Suddenly Wellington started feeling sorry for her.
