"How could I not co? I wouldn’t miss this for anything," Logan’s playful voice sounded in the room, making everyone burst into a chuckle.
"Hehe, indeed. We haven’t done such a gathering in a very long ti."

Everyone echoed playfully and watched as Logan sat down next to Wellington with Briar.
Now that she was sitting, the ladies especially couldn’t help but take a closer look at her and their eyes were filled with fascination.
Logan, on the other hand, after settling Briar, looked across from him coming face to face with soone he hadn’t seen in a very long ti.
’It seems that ti and life had been treating her well,’ he thought appreciatively, started racing wildly, and she felt shy.
’Could it be that my plan is working?’ she couldn’t help but be delusional, thinking of such things.
However, before her delusion worsened, it was shattered when Logan opened his mouth and said to her, "Raine. I haven’t seen you in over a decade. I can see that you have matured now!" his tone was very sincere.
"Pft~!" however, that statent was received by several stifled laughter and the person in particular dug her nails into her palms upon hearing such words.

Briar, on the other hand, remained calm as if she wasn’t understanding why the others were in a laughing fit. Rather, she looked at Raine and then at Logan before asking innocently, "Hubby, this lady is also your friend?" her eyes blinking with curiosity.
The others, upon hearing that, had different reactions and Raine felt like Briar was targeting her.

However, to Logan, that didn’t seem to be the case. Briar had never seen Raine before, so it was normal that she was curious and wasn’t aware.
While they might have not introduced one another, Briar knew all of his friends and their wives. After all, at ho when they used to co, she was there. During his birthday banquets or Selena’s or other important events where children could go, as the nanny, she was always there.
So, it would be unbelievable if she acted like she didn’t know them.
"Um, she is a friend of ours. The little sister of us, brothers!" he added with a smile as he looked at his friends.
The male friends who heard that nodded their heads in agreent, as it wasn’t wrong what he had just said. However, Wellington, who knew what Raine was thinking, his lips curled into a mocking smirk.
’I wonder how furious the lady is right now!’
And he nearly choked when Briar reappeared once again.
"It must be nice, being protected by such good brothers. I really envy her!"
"Pft~" This ti, the ladies couldn’t help themselves but burst into laughter.
As for what they were laughing about, the n didn’t seem to understand and so did Briar, who looked confused.
"Hehe, please forgive us. I just couldn’t help but rember my childhood."
"Having brothers is a good thing. I don’t have brothers, so I kind of got bullied a lot."
"Yes, our sister Raine was truly fortunate!"
When Briar heard that, her eyes lit up and looked at these won as if they were the sa kindred spirits. She couldn’t help but add, "I have two brothers myself, but only my eldest was there for . Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to block from everything, but I am still grateful. However, I still envy sister Raine."
Logan laughed helplessly when he heard that. He couldn’t help but scratch her nose playfully and said, "Aren’t I here with you now? Besides, all these brothers and sisters you see here will protect you. You are the youngest!" his tone was very doting and everyone in the room could hear how much love and affection he held for Briar.
Briar, upon getting teased, shyly looked at Logan before looking away.
With a glance, everyone in the room could tell that the relationship between the two wasn’t like what they all thought. These two people had a connection which was very strong. If they were to be direct and honest, they would admit that sparks were flying.
Seeing how well they were doing, so of them even started to wonder if these two were in so secret relationship before the marriage was announced. They couldn’t help but feel curious.
Raine, witnessing all that, was so angry that she wanted to point her fingers at Briar and expose her of her shalessness. However, she couldn’t do that. If she does that now, that would expose her and she didn’t want anything bad to happen before she had everything in her hands.
She also couldn’t stand seeing Briar and Logan acting as if they were the only people in the room, so she suppressed her fury and hate and looked at Logan with a smile and said, "Logan, I am happy seeing you moving on. After seeing how much you and Selena were so much in love. How you were heartbroken when she died. I didn’t think that I would see you marrying anyone else. However, seeing you now, I am thrilled and sincerely happy that you have finally found soone to live the rest of your life with ...."

The won were pissed when they heard what Raine was talking about. Was it really a good thing to remind a man like Logan about his deceased wife?
Who didn’t know how much those were in love?
In Logan’s life, it could be said that he had two won in his life; Selena and then Briar. And yet Raine just had to reopen the wounds and remind both Logan and Briar that there was soone called Selena. Wasn’t she looking for trouble?
The won couldn’t help but steal glances at Briar, curious to see how she was reacting and when they saw her, they couldn’t help but be dumbfounded.
