The smile on Elder Mrs. Quan’s face also vanished.
Lai Yang’s short temper flared. She swatted Quan Shengyu’s finger away and glared at him, "Speak properly, or I’ll let San Pang bite you!"
"This really won’t work..."
Quan Shengyu looked at Ning Guiwan.
That day, she and his Second Uncle had visited his office. Although there was no intimate behavior, the re act of a man like his Second Uncle deigning to personally accompany soone to the hospital spoke volus. "Dr. Quan is mistaken." Ning Guiwan, having regained her composure, calmly interrupted Lai Yang. She glanced at Quan Shengyu, who looked relieved after shifting the bla. "Uncle Yu took to the hospital out of an elder’s concern for a junior. Your words misrepresent his kindness."

The blind date ended like a farce.

After hearing Ning Guiwan’s righteous explanation, he was certain of one thing: his Second Uncle hadn’t won the young lady over yet. His ddling might just be the opportunity needed. Once his Second Uncle successfully wooed her, perhaps in his delight, he’d invest a little "pocket money" into his research institute.
