Tan Xi frowned. These past few days, she and Song Changfeng had done their howork, so they recognized everyone seated.

"Shouldn’t Vice President Ning return to her own seat?" Tan Xi took two steps toward Ning Rongyue, tapping her finger on the signature on the photocopy of the appointnt letter on the table. "Look carefully. The CEO of Tianchi Group is Song Changfeng."

"President Ning has been handling all major and minor company matters recently, and no one understands the company’s current situation better than her. You two have just arrived and might not be familiar with everything yet, so it would be more prudent for President Ning to preside over this eting." Yang Huasheng was clearly allied with Ning Rongyue.

After he spoke, everyone else remained silent.

It was Liu Bigui who spoke up. "It’s already past nine-thirty, and you two were already late to begin with. I think we shouldn’t waste any more ti. Let’s start the eting right away."

"You..." Tan Xi had anticipated it wouldn’t go smoothly, but she hadn’t expected them to be so brazen.

Song Changfeng tugged her arm slightly.

His eyes signaled her to prioritize the bigger picture.

Then, he led her to a seat to Ning Rongyue’s left.

Tan Xi had no choice but to suppress her anger.

"The new chairman should have arrived with you. Where is he?" Ning Rongyue asked with a smile.

Tan Xi knew Ning Rongyue was Ning Guiwan’s half-sister and consequently held no fondness for her.

"Oh, she had sothing to attend to and will arrive later."

Ruiyin hadn’t disclosed any information about this new chairperson, who remained quite a mystery.

But Ning Rongyue wasn’t in any hurry.

Currently, almost the entire company consisted of her people; she believed no one, regardless of who they were, could alter the current situation.

A smile touched Ning Rongyue’s lips at the thought.

"Regarding this eting..." Song Changfeng began, intending to get to the main agenda.

He had barely begun when Ning Rongyue cut him off. "This eting will primarily address three matters..."

Song Changfeng watched her speak with eloquence and authority, carrying herself as if she were the top leader. He smiled faintly, showing no displeasure.

Tan Xi, however, sneered inwardly. Xiaowan’s sister is truly shaless in her thods.

Just as she was grumbling internally, her phone rang. Glancing at the caller ID, she saw it was Ning Guiwan’s number. She inford Song Changfeng, then rose and stepped out through the back door of the conference room.

After Ning Rongyue finished speaking, she looked at Song Changfeng and asked, "Does CEO Song have anything to add?"

Song Changfeng smiled. "President Ning’s points were very thorough. I have nothing to add."

"Then, the subsequent work shall proceed as I’ve just outlined. If you have any opinions or suggestions, CEO Song, you may co to my office to discuss them."

Ning Rongyue was truly getting carried away, addressing the esteed CEO as if he were her subordinate.

"eting adjourned," Ning Rongyue declared, her tone commanding.

Just then, an ill-tid voice interjected from outside the conference room. "Adjourn?"

The voice wasn’t loud, but it carried clearly to everyone, each word landing with weight.

All eyes turned towards the sound, only to see an unexpected person.

Tan Xi pushed open the main door of the conference room for Ning Guiwan. Ning Guiwan walked in, her gaze sweeping over the group’s senior executives at the conference table. "I’ve never seen a company where the CEO sits among the subordinates while a vice president issues orders from the head of the table. Such utter disregard for hierarchy."

When Ning Rongyue saw Ning Guiwan, for so inexplicable reason, her heart lurched, and a sense of foreboding welled up from deep within.

"Xiaowan, what are you doing here?" She rose, putting on the air of a concerned older sister. "We’re in a eting right now. If you need sothing, please wait in the guest lounge. I’ll join you shortly."

Her words were cleverly crafted, simultaneously painting Ning Guiwan as an impetuous younger sister while establishing herself as the one in charge.

Ning Guiwan listened, then smiled and walked over to Ning Rongyue’s side. "Actually, I’m not here for you."

With that, she shifted her gaze from Ning Rongyue to the others, stopping beside the chair at the head of the table. The smile vanished from her lips, her expression turning solemn.

She possessed a commanding aura, instantly rendering the conference room’s atmosphere grave. A hush fell over the room as all eyes fixed on her.

"I have only three points to make. First, Jin Jixiang, a current board director, will serve as the Chairman of the Board."

Her words imdiately caused an uproar among those present.

Jin Jixiang stared at her, a flicker of surprise surfacing in his shrewd, calculating eyes.

"What did you say?" Yang Huasheng slamd his hand on the table and shot to his feet. "Third Young Miss, this is no place for jokes! You barged into a eting of senior company executives. It’s already generous of us not to have security escort you out. Please leave imdiately!"

Ning Guiwan rely glanced at him, ignored his outburst, and continued, "Second, from this day forward, all company matters, major or minor, must be reviewed and approved by CEO Song Changfeng, and also require Chairman Jin Jixiang’s signed confirmation. Without the consent of both, no directive will be carried out."

"Third, all company financial accounts must be approved by CFO Tan Xi, with simultaneous signed confirmation from both the CEO and the Chairman. Any financial transactions not reviewed and approved by these three individuals will be considered invalid. Should anyone forcibly process such transactions, resulting in financial loss, the individual responsible will bear the full personal liability."

Once she finished speaking, the room erupted.

Jin Jixiang remained silent, his gaze fixed intently on Ning Guiwan, his hands clenched into tight fists.

Ning Rongyue’s hands trembled with rage. Ning Guiwan’s pronouncents had directly seized all executive and financial authority. Is she trying to make a figurehead? What a joke! Who on earth does Ning Guiwan think she is?

So furious she was, Ning Rongyue actually laughed.

"Xiaowan, have you been drinking this morning?" She reached out to take Ning Guiwan’s arm. "Why don’t you go ho for now? I know you’re upset that Tianchi Group was acquired by Ruiyin. After all, this was your..."

Ning Rongyue paused artfully, omitting the end of her sentence to further emphasize the supposed blow this dealt Ning Guiwan.

"But this is a board eting, a serious matter. Go ho for now. We can discuss whatever you want at length later, alright?"

Yang Huasheng, still standing, kicked his chair back, sending it skittering aside. "The Third Young Miss here looks drunk to too, barging in here and spouting such nonsense! What does she take this place for?"

Ning Guiwan sidestepped Ning Rongyue’s outstretched hand, her expression still stern. "As for whether my words carry weight, everyone, please take a look at this..."

As if on cue, one of the middle-aged n accompanying Song Changfeng and Tan Xi began distributing a stack of docunts he held.

They were photocopies of shareholding certificates.

The certificates detailed a sixty-seven percent stake. The listed holder: Ning Guiwan.

Ning Rongyue still believed Ning Guiwan was rely putting on a convincing act. What a ridiculous charade, she scoffed internally, though her face remained wreathed in a kind smile as she tried to persuade her again. "Xiaowan, if you truly can’t bear to part with the group, you can co back to work. The public relations departnt is currently short-staffed. With your abilities, I’m sure you’d be more than capable..."

The work in PR was notoriously difficult, requiring interaction with all sorts of people, and social drinking was a frequent necessity.

But before Ning Rongyue could finish her seemingly understanding words, soone in the room gasped, "She actually holds sixty-seven percent of Tianchi Group’s shares!"

Yang Huasheng, too, had a clear look at the docunt in his hand. His mind suddenly went blank, his face turning a ghastly pale. "How is this possible? The company *was* acquired by Ruiyin! Ruiyin should be the shareholder! How could it possibly be..."

When an individual holds over fifty percent of a company’s shares, they gain absolute authority over all its affairs. The company essentially becos a one-person show.

Ning Rongyue snatched the docunt from the hands of the person closest to her. After reading it, she froze, utterly dumbfounded, as if dealt a stunning blow.

The color drained from her face instantly.

How could this be?
