Chapter 96: Chapter 96: It Won’t Bite , Will It?
After that kiss, she always felt particularly nervous when alone with Qin Sijue, her breathing quick and shallow.
When she lay down again, she found herself utterly sleepless.
Tossing and turning, she struggled to fall asleep.
Strange, the sofa was large and soft, and she thought it quite comfortable, so why couldn’t she sleep?
As she wondered, another ‘click’ sounded.
She knew it was Qin Sijue, having finished his bath, and quickly closed her eyes.
Not knowing how much ti had passed, Gu Qiangwei felt he should have gotten into bed by now; however, the next instant, she felt her body being touched, then lifted into the air!
Being only in a feigned slumber, she could no longer pretend at this mont. She abruptly opened her eyes, eting the man’s deep gaze, “What are you doing!?”
Seeing the woman suddenly open her eyes, Qin Sijue was expressionless, “Why pretend to be asleep?”
Gu Qiangwei paused and was sowhat at a loss for words.
In the next second, her light body was gently placed on the spacious and soft bed.
“You sleep here.”
After putting her down, Qin Sijue returned to the sofa himself and lay down.
Gu Qiangwei, stunned, watched as he lay down in the sofa directly.
This scene seed familiar, would it end up like last night again, with him returning to the bed after tossing and turning sleeplessly?
As it turned out, Gu Qiangwei was overthinking.
Until late into the night, no noises ca from the sofa, and Gu Qiangwei gradually fell asleep.
She slept until dawn and when she awoke, Qin Sijue was already gone from the sofa.
After getting out of bed and freshening up a bit, Gu Qiangwei went downstairs.
Looking at the ti, it was already half-past eight.
Without her job, she seed to have lost track of ti altogether.
“Young Madam, you’re awake.”
Arriving at the dining hall, yet not seeing Qin Sijue’s figure, Gu Qiangwei tilted her head, surveying the entire dining and kitchen area.
Qin Bo seed to sense that she was looking for the Young Master and said with a smile, “The Young Master went to the company early this morning.”
Gu Qiangwei then shifted her gaze, glanced at Qin Bo, and sat down at the dining table.
“By the way, Young Madam.”
As she was having breakfast, Qin Bo, standing by, spoke up again.
Gu Qiangwei lifted her eyes to look at him, “Hmm?”
“The Young Master said that three days have passed. The person in the back garden, you can deal with him as you please.”
Listening to Qin Bo, Gu Qiangwei’s movents halted.
She had nearly forgotten that Gu Zhendong was still locked up there.
By the ti she finished breakfast, it was already past nine in the morning.
