Chapter 924: Chapter 925: Script Changed?

After speaking, Ai Wei, wearing ten-centiter high heels and holding the script, returned to the chair she had been sitting on.

Huo Yishan was already in a bad mood and was about to lose her temper when the staff brought over new clothes.

"Alright, alright, hurry up and change!" the director urged.

Anna knew she was angry, but there was nothing she could do; she could only push her into the makeshift dressing room nearby.

After changing clothes, Huo Yishan tried to maintain her composure, especially since there was a kiss scene coming up.

"Oh, Little Dragonfly, the script has changed. You haven’t seen it yet, have you?"

After changing her clothes and coming out, the director suddenly asked her.

She was stunned and looked at Director Jiang, "The script has changed?"

"Yeah, no more kissing!"

No more kissing?

"This is the revised version. Take another look." Director Jiang handed her the revised script.

Huo Yishan took it and glanced at it; indeed, it had changed, and the revised script was even more impactful than before.

Not far away, He Liancheng was watching her from a distance.

The director had been called away by a phone call earlier, and in the afternoon he announced that the script had changed. Through inquiries with the staff, it seed that the person who called away the director in the morning was the heir of the Li Consortium, the man she t at the elevator entrance and again in the restaurant today.

Was it him who made the director change the script?

"Alright, hurry up and familiarize yourself with it, and then get into character!"

Seeing that the script had changed, Huo Yishan felt less pressured.

But this ti she dodged it, what about next ti?

If she can never shoot kiss scenes, would she be unable to survive in the entertainnt industry in the future?

The shoot was more successful than expected, it took just two takes to get it right.

Busy until ten at night, Huo Yishan finally wrapped up work.

"How is it? Does your face still hurt?"

On the way back to the hotel, Anna looked at her face with concern.

Because there was a scene earlier where the leading lady saw the second female lead and slapped her in the face.

"It’s okay." Huo Yishan was so exhausted that she didn’t even have the strength to speak, she just wanted to lean back all the way to the hotel.

"That Ai Wei, she’s really vicious. Clearly, she agreed to a fake slap, but she said it would look more realistic this way and actually hit you! She did it on purpose!"

"Anna, I’m so tired, can you stop talking..."

Anna lifted her gaze. Although she couldn’t see her face clearly in the dim backseat, it wasn’t hard to see how tired she looked.

"Alright, alright, you take a nap first, I’ll wake you when we get to the hotel."

"Mm."

Huo Yishan closed her eyes, as if too tired to even open her mouth to speak, much less open her eyes.

Sitting beside her, looking at her exhausted state, Anna furrowed her brows.

When you think about it, this was a modern drama, comparatively easier than period pieces.

Period dramas often involve complex actions, but today’s scenes were very simple. Why was she so exhausted?

"Shan, you—"

"Don’t talk."

Thinking she would continue to ramble about Ai Wei, Huo Yishan imdiately cut her off.

Anna pursed her lips, seeing her so exhausted, and couldn’t bring herself to continue.

It wasn’t until the car arrived at the hotel that she woke her up.

"Shan, we’ve reached the hotel."

"Shan!?"

In a daze, Huo Yishan woke up, and after Anna opened the car door for her, she dragged her heavy body down.

In the elevator, Huo Yishan still felt extrely fatigued, desperately wanting sothing to prop herself up on.
