Chapter 828: Chapter 829: Two Young Masters
Looking into Luo Chen’s blood-red eyes, Ling Xi dared not speak anymore. Not knowing whether Gu Qiangwei could safely co out of the ergency room, her feet felt as though they were glued to the spot, unable to move.
Observing Qin Sijue’s increasingly grim expression, it was Luo Chen who finally ca over, grabbed her arm, and hurriedly walked her toward the corner of the corridor.
He was worried that if she didn’t leave, Mr. Qin might actually kill her!
As he dragged her along, Ling Xi’s heart was tortured by guilt and remorse.
“Let go of …”
She tried to shake off Luo Chen’s hold but couldn’t exert much force because her arm was injured as well.
But Luo Chen didn’t seem to plan on letting her go and kept pulling her forward.
“Let go of !” she cried, tears streaming down nonstop.
“You are injured.”
That sentence was probably the only caring words she had heard all day.
She looked up, a bit taken by surprise, and t Luo Chen’s calm black eyes. Suddenly, she beca a bit agitated and grabbed his arm, “Assistant Luo, can you tell
if Sister Qiangwei will be alright? I really didn’t do it on purpose. I didn’t see her standing there…”
“I know it wasn’t intentional,” Luo Chen suddenly said, looking at her.
Ling Xi was startled, “Really?”
“Yes. So go see the doctor first and get your injuries treated before anything else.”
“But Sister Qiangwei…” her gaze still fixed toward the ergency room.
If sothing truly happened to Gu Qiangwei and her child, she would be a murderer…
“Young Madam is blessed by fortune, she will be fine.”
Ling Xi was startled again, her teary eyes wavering, “Really?”
“Of course.”
Actually, Luo Chen was also uncertain, but he said so hoping she would feel reassured enough to tend to her own injuries.
“Then if Sister Qiangwei cos out, can you let
know how she is…”
“I can.” Luo Chen stared at her, his eyes filled with complex emotions, unsure if it was because of the injuries on her body or the tears swirling in her eyes.
“Let’s go.”
He pulled her along again, and this ti Ling Xi didn’t resist but followed him to the surgical outpatient clinic.
…
In the quiet hallway, everyone hung their heads in lancholy, waiting as each minute ticked by and also waiting for that door to open again with news.
After more than two hours of resuscitation, the doors to the ergency room finally opened once more.
The first to erge were two dical staff each holding a child.
Upon seeing the infants in their swaddles, for a mont, everyone waiting outside was stunned.
It wasn’t until one of the nurses holding a baby spoke, “Congratulations, you have two young masters,” that everyone snapped out of it.
All were stunned for a mont until they rembered the children belonged to Gu Qiangwei. Tang Yuyan and Zhuang Yanyan then burst into tears and hurried to take the two babies into their arms.
“They are my grandsons…”
Looking at the fair and pretty little faces in the swaddles, Tang Yuyan couldn’t hold back her tears.
However, as she stretched out her hand, the nurse spoke, “Sorry, since the two young masters are premature, they must be placed in an incubator.”
Hearing this, Tang Yuyan’s hand paused mid-air, “Can’t I hold them just for a mont?”
The nurse smiled, “Sorry, for the health of the babies, please restrain yourselves for a few days!”
With that, she left the ergency room with the two newly born babies.
