“I don’t want to stay in the hospital room.”
“Why?”
“It’s stuffy, boring, and there’s no one to keep
company.” She lowered her head, letting her hands be cradled and ward by his rubbing in his palms.
And regarding this tenderness, she took it for granted, thinking he did it only because her hands were cold, not realizing that not every man would make such a gesture toward her.
He looked at her intently, then suddenly spoke, “I’ll keep you company.”
She quickly raised her head to et his sincere eyes.
“But don’t you have work?”
“I am the hospital Director, and I make the decisions!”
“…” How wilful.
“Moreover, if you don’t want to stay in the hospital, you can be discharged tomorrow.”
This surprised Huo Yishan, “Really?”
“Mhm.”
“But didn’t you say I needed at least a week?”
He lifted those deep eyes to gaze at her, “After you’re discharged, I will take care of you.”
“…”
She blinked her large eyes. What did he an by taking care of her?
“Didn’t you say you can’t tell your family?” he asked again.
She nodded blankly, “Mhm.”
“Then I will take care of you.”
He bent his head down and only let go of her hands after they were ward up.
Huo Yishan was still dazed. Taking care of her ant he would go to her apartnt?
At this thought, she suddenly widened her eyes. That apartnt was her single residence, intended precisely for when she played roles that required her to ‘get hurt’ and needed a place to stay.
“You, you’re going to my house?”
His expression was unaltered, “No, precisely speaking, it’s your apartnt.”

“Why?”

Huo Yishan paused, feeling that… it indeed didn’t make sense.
Under normal circumstances, not to ntion being a doctor, even a non-doctor boyfriend would be considerate toward his girlfriend, naturally wanting to take care of her when she is sick or injured.
Looking up, she glanced at the man before her. Being confined in the hospital was less appealing than being discharged and having him take care of her!
