Chapter 709: Chapter 710: Full Moon Banquet (4)

Since the full month celebration was at noon, there was still ti to head there after finishing up at the supermarket.

Upon entering the supermarket, Qin Sijue took the initiative to grab a shopping cart and began pushing it.

Co to think of it, was this his first ti ever going to a supermarket?

Gu Qiangwei followed by his side, watching him push the cart and realized that, despite knowing him for so long, this might be the first ti she was out shopping with him at a supermarket?

“Where are the spicy strips?”

The two headed towards the snack area but still couldn’t find any sign of spicy strips.

Gu Qiangwei looked around; it had been over a decade since she last bought them, and she had no idea where they might be located, especially since this supermarket was quite large.

“Let’s look over there.”

She pointed to a spot not far away, given that ti wasn’t really pressing—it was just past nine in the morning.

Wherever they went, it seed they attracted envious glances from others. Here, their presence was like a captivating sight, as perfect as a picture!

While strolling around, Gu Qiangwei suddenly rembered sothing.

“Qin Sijue.”

“Hmm,” he responded, still searching for the spicy strips as he pushed the cart.

“Do you prefer boys or girls?”

Qin Sijue’s brows furrowed as he turned his head, suddenly giving her a peculiar look.

eting his gaze, Gu Qiangwei was sowhat startled, “What’s wrong?”

“Are you a man or a woman?”

Gu Qiangwei paused for a few seconds, then realized what he ant, “That’s not what I’m asking. I an…” Her hand involuntarily rested on her belly, “Here, do you prefer a boy or a girl?”

Glancing at her abdon, Qin Sijue also understood.

“As long as it’s born by you, I like it all!”

Gu Qiangwei was taken aback, his words mirroring those of her grandmother.

But she still felt a little puzzled and walked along with him. “So, when you dealt with Nangong Feifei last ti, you said you were accumulating virtues for your ‘son’?”

She deliberately emphasized the word ‘son’.

Qin Sijue glanced sideways at her and rembered the situation at that ti.

“Then, if I said I was accumulating virtues for my ‘daughter,’ would you ask

again if I prefer girls?”

Gu Qiangwei paused for a mont, then suddenly realized.

The so-called ‘son’ he ntioned was just sothing he said offhand?

She smiled knowingly and took the initiative to link her arm with his, “So you really don’t mind whether it’s a boy or a girl?”

“Hmm.”

Together, they continued pushing the shopping cart onward.

Ten or so minutes passed by, and the shopping cart was still as empty as ever.

Turning a corner, they arrived at another aisle, just as a familiar figure ca into Gu Qiangwei’s view.

There stood Ling Xi in front of a shelf filled with instant noodles, constantly agonizing over the prices listed.

“It seems like buying the bagged ones cos with a discount?”

Alright, bagged ones it is!

Eventually, Ling Xi picked up two large bags of bagged instant noodles, five small packets bundled together!

Holding them, she turned around to go check out!

However, as soon as she turned, she saw two familiar figures standing there, staring at her intently.

Qin Sijue was expressionless, but it was Gu Qiangwei who glanced at her, then at the two dozen packs of instant noodles in her hands!

“Ling Xi.”

Having known that what she heard yesterday were just rumors, Gu Qiangwei held no animosity towards Ling Xi. Instead, she approached her, eyeing the large amount of instant noodles, “Why are you buying so many noodles?”

Running into them here was a surprise for Ling Xi as well.

She glanced at Gu Qiangwei, then stole a look at Qin Sijue, and finally, her eyes settled back on Gu Qiangwei’s face, “I… bought them to eat.”
