Luo Chen looked up and gave him a glance, but his eyes held a hint of deep resentnt!
“Speak!”
“It’s about you standing up for Ling Xi.”
Qin Sijue furrowed his brows. What did he an by him standing up for Ling Xi?
“The buying off and errand running?”
“Mm-hmm.” Luo Chen responded, unable to suppress a disdainful look towards Qin Sijue.
Qin Sijue, of course, saw it as well.
“What’s that look for?”
Luo Chen pursed his lips, summoning the courage, “Mr. Qin, I feel that what you’re doing is really unfair to the Young Madam.”
The frown between Qin Sijue’s brows deepened as he suddenly stood up, glaring at him, “Tell , how exactly have I been unfair to the Young Madam?”
Luo Chen continued to give him sidelong glances, “The company is abuzz with rumors now, saying that you…” He hesitated, seemingly embarrassed to speak.
“Saying what about ?”
“Saying that you are in a ‘critical period’, and keeping Ling Xi is quite normal.”

Now Qin Sijue was completely baffled.
What did they an by him keeping Ling Xi?
And what was this ‘critical period’ about?
“Explain yourself clearly!”

After pondering for a mont, Qin Sijue turned to head towards the suite, wanting to check if Gu Qiangwei had woken up yet.
But the mont he turned, he saw a figure standing at the door and couldn’t help but freeze there.
Two seconds later, he ca back to his senses and approached her, “When did you wake up?”
Gu Qiangwei smiled, “Just now.”
After sleeping for the afternoon, Gu Qiangwei’s complexion looked much better.
“Did you hear my conversation with Luo Chen?” He pulled her to sit down on the sofa with him.
Gu Qiangwei nodded. It was when she heard Luo Chen saying ‘unfair to the Young Madam’ that she chose not to speak up.
Recalling the words of the several female employees in the elevator at noon, out of curiosity, and wanting to know what was truly happening, she didn’t co out as she opened the door, but instead, she stood there and listened to their conversation.
This wasn’t eavesdropping, right?
“Are you bothered?” he looked at her and asked.
Gu Qiangwei looked up and smiled, “Of course, because I’ve heard so rumors too.”
Qin Sijue furrowed his brows, “You heard them too?”
“Mm-hmm.” She nodded, but her expression was devoid of any displeasure.
But Qin Sijue was feeling sowhat nervous.
“What did you hear?”
He had only asked Luo Chen to handle a simple matter, and now it had blown up into all this gossip?
Gu Qiangwei raised an eyebrow, “Just so stuff about you being in a ‘critical period’… and that it’s normal to be with another woman.”
“Do you believe it?”
She glanced at him, “I… don’t know whether I should believe it or not.”
Qin Sijue suddenly sat up straight, staring at her for over two seconds, and in the next instant, he suddenly pulled out his phone and made a call to Luo Chen!
“Find the person spreading rumors imdiately, and then make her scram!!”
Luo Chen had just stepped out of the elevator, stunned upon hearing the big boss’s fury.
Investigate now? He was still supposed to arrange a eting with Mrs. Kayla.
“Young Master, I still need to arrange your eting with Mrs. Kayla—”
“If you don’t find out, you can scram too!”
